Lavis was a former writer in the pits, he admired what he did. Others didn't as much.

He longed to be seen, to be treated like someone important. It was easy for him to do things since he had four arms, but it was still considered a deformity in the pits no matter how it was talked about.

Months later, he'd been summoned. Era 3. Ghost needed a new lead guitarist and he so happened to be summoned for it. Of course he was happy about it, maybe he could even play a two neck guitar.

Oh how wrong he was.

The Papa, Terzo, gasped in horror when he saw him. He understood that he was big with 4 arms, but he'd never hurt anyone that didn't deserve it.

Soon Sister imperator got the ghouls, Alpha and Omega, to drag him away. He didn't understand why or what was happening, he didn't know why he wasn't just being sent home back to his other life in the pits.

As soon as they threw him in the room and locked him in he started frantically looking around. He saw a ghoul come behind him and roughly grabbed his arms to ensure that they got locked in the straight jacket, including his tail. He was terrified, he couldn't speak, nor move.

"you're going to listen to me now, you freak.." The ghoul shoved Lavis down and watched him fall in sadistic enjoyment. "I'm not one to turn an offer like this down, you know.." He circled Lavis, as if examining prey.

"I'm sorry if I've hurt you-... I don't understand why this is happening..." Lavis said in scared confusion. "It's happening because it's Sister imperators word. Thats all the reason I'm giving you."

Lavis stayed quiet, feeling out of place and horrified. As the years went by things got worse.

year three

The 1st year wasn't so bad, just very isolating.

Year 2

Somehow, in the clergy's mind it made sense to nueder the ghoul, as if he were an animal. He was panting, they didn't care enough to numb him, they just knew they didn't want to deal with his heats.

He was hiding, or at least trying to, in a corner. He was shaking. They stripped him for body searches every day and he didn't know what needle they put in his veins, but his tail was close to not working at all.

"Out of the corner, freak," A voice said, the ghoul was back again. He was already terrified of him when he did body checks on him because of the weird stuff he'd do or say....

Lavis slowly turned around, it appears the other had a pocket knife. Lavis subconsciously yelled in terror, trying to make himself invisible. "Please, I won't tell anyone anything you've done just please don't hurt me!!!!" Lavis pleaded.

The ghoul simply laughed and glared down at him, stepping closer. He kneeled next to Lavis his voice full of anger, "Oh I know you won't. You may not even have a voice by the time you're out."

He grabbed Lavis, hard. He put his pocket knife to the ghoul's ear. He heard the other gasp and got a huge adrenaline rush.

Slowly but surely, the ear cartilage was cut off on both ears. He shoved Lavis's sobbing shaking body down. Lavis was sobbing like there was no tomorrow, that's what he hoped at least.

The fourth year.

Lavis was very cautious around the other ghoul at this point, doing anything he asked just because he was horrified now.

He soon noticed his horn slowly cracking, from stress and abuse. He started panicking, his horns were all he had that was still his... Now they were ruined.

The ghoul walked in once more, Lavis was unable to hide it.

"WHAT DID YOU DO YOU FILTHY ANIMAL!!?!!! COULD YOU NOT TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!?!!!?" the ghoul shouted, making Lavis shake heavily.

"I tried, I promise... But-" The ghoul quickly cut him off.

"But nothing." He said, walking closer to Lavis and ripping a chunk off, Lavis screamed in pain. As he did that he instantly felt a slap across his face. "Stop being such a baby, you have no idea what real pain is"

And that's basically how he was for the rest of year 4.

Year 5.

Lavis was obviously still in the padded room, he stared at the walls most of the time. He started rambling to himself about everything so at least he could hear a voice that wasn't that ghoul's.

His nose cartilage was already weak previously, but it did scare him his loose it was. It hurt a ton, he found himself unable to sleep. He was unable to get proper care since he was in a room though.

One day, it felt like a loose tooth would. He felt his skin slowly tearing, blood staining the floors.

"YOU JUST HAD TO MAKE A MESS DIDN'T YOU!? YOU'RE CLEANING THIS SHIT UP!!!! USE YOUR PILLOW, NOW!!!" The ghoul furiously said. Lavis nodded sadly. The only time he got kinda out of his straight jacket was when he had a punishment.

He slowly wiped his pillow on the blood-stained floor, unable to avoid sobbing while doing so. He was so hideous, he would never understand why he was still there.

It took a while to clean up, but he did. Now he was being forced to sleep with his head against his bloody pillow.

Year 6.

Lavis had been trying to be a good ghoul. Trying to get out for good behavior maybe.

That idea was tossed the second he was dragged out of the room and brought into a darker one. It had all kinds of weapons on it. He looked nervously in the ghoul's hands.

An orbitoclast. This wouldn't go well.

Lavis was strapped down in leather on the bed and he started screaming as the ghoul came closer.

"Be careful, idiot!!!! I need a clean strike!!!!!"

Lavis stopped moving, only small tears forming.

"We couldn't love you the way you were, so we needed to change you.." The ghoul said before preforming the lobotomy.

Lavis could've sworn he didn't know how to talk. He couldn't think. He only knew where he was going.

As Lavis was set back in the padded room he started loudly screaming and banging his head against the wall, he didn't want to be here. Never.

Year 8.

(year 7 was just Lavis getting used to being lobotomized and yeah)

He couldn't sleep at all that night, he randomly screamed and occasional sobs.

This was obviously going to be a trigger for the ghoul who was 'in charge' of Lavis.

He stormed in once more as he did everyday, "You really want to be a little bitch don't you? Tell me, you think you're so entitled to scream and cry? I'll give you something to cry about."

Before Lavis could say anything, his mouth was pried open, his big fangs showing. The ghoul sadistically smiled.

He put his large nails in between the gums and fangs and slowly ripped them out. Making Lavis sob and blood poor from his mouth.

'Oh you want more do you?' The ghoul threatened, to which lavis immediately shook his head no.

"That's what I thought..."

Year 9 and 10

Lavis had still had his screaming problem, the sobs taking over most of the time.

The ghoul rolled his eyes, then got a realization. He slowly walked to Lavis, going behind him. "You really scream, huh? Quite the voice box you have.." The ghoul said condescendingly and pressed his thumb against his Larynx and pushed hard.

Lavis yelled till he couldn't, he so badly wish one day that someone would hear him...

Later that week, Lavis was brought to a room. It had tanning bed looking things. He was too easily manipulated so he just rolled with it.

That was till the ghoul locked him in one and 'forgot' about him. He soon realized that he was getting direct radiation on him. He felt his skin peeling and folding up. The blood coming back up to stain the machine.

Hours later, The ghoul screamed when he saw how Lavis looked. So.... Ugly. ....

He dragged him out and immediately shoved him in the padded room, unable to look at him.

A month later he saw the door crack open...

Only five of us remain. Six, if you count the servitor. Myself, lieutenant Arema, two guardsmen and a civilian conscript. They arrived minutes before the bunker was flooded, bringing message of the line falling. I do not know if she should be considered lucky to survive with what they were given. A lassgun, flakvest and helmet and instruction on which end of the gun to point at the enemy. Outside, she'd be already dead or tortured. Here... We'd starve eventually, but even with the flooding the rebels would have breached the bunker in a month or two.

The sudden shot startled the guardsmen and one even leveled his gun at corpse in confusion. I told them that as of this moment they were relieved of their duty, and could choose either the Emperors Mercy or waiting until the bombardment reaches us. Disbelief was clear on their face, slowly turning to horror as the vox-network came back on, declaring the damnation of the world in the name of the Emperor. Arema confirmed that the bunker could not withstand orbital weaponry.

One guardsman nervously started to flick through the vox channels, then began cursing, hitting and´shooting at the console. He then leveled his rifle towards me, his last curse cut short by the lass of the servitor. The other stared at the approaching wave of explosions and slowly with a wavering hand reached for their sidearm.

Arema stood staring at his watch until we could feel and hear the reverberations of the explosions. He took of his cap, kneeled with his back towards me and formed the Aquila with the watch in hand. He didn't need words.

I went over to the servitor and patted it's bald, pale head. A thanks for all the years of servitude. I think it looked at me when I pressed the barrel on it's forehead.

My dear & blessed E.M.,

(I wish you had a name. Why do you always hide behind initials? What do your friends call you? My name is Edward, or ‘chips’!)

I have read your ‘Maurice’ after all, and am very much pleased with it. I don’t always like your rather hesitating tantalizing impressionist style - though it has subtleties - but I think the story has many fine points. You succeed in joining the atmosphere with the various characters, and there are plenty of happenings which is a good thing. Maurice’s love affairs are all interesting, and I have a mind to read them again, if I can find time - so I won’t send the MS back for a day or two. I am so glad you end up on a major chord. I was so afraid you were going to let Scudder go at the last - but you saved him and saved the story, because the end though improbable is not impossible and is the one bit of real romance - which those who understand will love.

I wish I could write more, but I am devoured just now by innumerable things. I expect to be in and about London from the 1st to 8th Sep. - so give me a cue to see you.

I am sending my birthday reply to the papers on Sep. 1 with a lot about the war in it. 

Only a small part of the letter has been transcribed then included in reviews, or different Maurice editions. Which is why I wanted to transcribe the whole response from the real-life Maurice to the author of fictional Maurice after he read Maurice. The entirety is far more interesting.

Some contexts: based on Forster's diaries, Maurice was first finished in June/July, 1914, so Carpenter did read the first complete MS—with or without the epilogue is unclear since there's no solid proof for when the epilogue was written (though it appeared in the novel by February 1915 at the latest.)

However, since Carpenter said he liked the happy ending he read (and fun fact: the first complete MS which he read actually had a fairly different ending between Maurice and Alec than the published version's), we know that even from the first draft, Forster remained unwavering about how a happy ending is imperative.

More contexts: according to a letter from Forster to a friend, he thought Carpenter was "too unliterary to be helpful"—meaning Carpenter probably wasn't much interested in reading literature. And Carpenter sort of confirmed that in writing "I read your 'Maurice' after all", implying he was indeed reluctant to read at first.

Still, it made absolute sense for Forster to send the story back to the man who, in a manner of speaking, held the copyright of Maurice in flesh before Forster even finished it.

So the question is: did Carpenter know that Maurice was inspired by him and his lover George Merrill? Did he know that he was the real-life Maurice and Merrill was the real-life Alec? Perhaps that was why he was reluctant to read the novel at first?

May 4 - Dracula 2023

When I came out for breakfast, the hotel concierge let me know that the count had contacted them to ensure I had the best seat in the bus over the mountains, which… Is there a best seat on a bus? I suppose one with a good view that lets you get out easily. I asked for more information, but they pretended not to understand, despite having answered all my questions earlier. When I used a translator to ask in Romanian, they said it came out as nonsense and still couldn’t answer me.

A little bit of checking showed that that was nonsense, but if they didn’t want to answer, such is life.

The front desk staff did look at each other quite nervously when I asked after Count Dracula. One of them crossed themselves, and the other assured me that they knew nothing at all, aside from what they were given when things were arranged. There wasn’t much for it. I went to gather my things, since it was nearly time to leave, but when I left the room again with my bags, one of them appeared at my door, a woman, her expression tight with fear.

“Must you go? Oh, must you go?” They spoke quietly, perhaps worried that their coworkers might overhear for some reason. Those phrases were most of what I got from her – Translate doesn’t exactly give one an understanding of the language. Eventually, after a lot of questions, she asked if I knew what day it was.

“The… fourth of May…?” I asked. I wasn’t quite sure where the line of questioning was going.

“Yes, but do you know what day it is?” She insisted, staring into my eyes with determination, as though this should be obvious.

I truly gave it some effort to figure it out – National Day in Romania was December 1st, I think, so it wasn’t that. No major holidays that I knew of, and she didn’t seem… positively inclined about the date, if I had to put a point on it. Finally, I shook my head. “I’m afraid I don’t follow.”

“It is the eve of St. George’s Day! Even around here, most people don’t remember much anymore that when the clock strikes midnight tonight, all evil things hold sway. And here… Do you know where you are going? To whom?” She asked, insistent, seeming in great distress with her fervor. “Please…! I will pay for tonight myself, if only you will not leave.” She reached out, taking my hand in a tight grip.

It was quite honestly very uncomfortable. I tried to assure her that it would be all right, but nothing I said seemed to help, since I couldn’t delay. Mr. Hawkins entrusted this task to me. I told her that – my work is imperative, and I couldn’t delay just for the sake of the date. I took my hand from her, as well, the grip almost having become painful in her panic.

She nodded and wiped her eyes, and allowed my hand to go. She took a crucifix from her neck and held it out to me. I wasn’t sure about it – religious or not, it feels odd to accept a crucifix as someone. She seemed to be able to tell and shook her head, pressing it into my hand.

“Please. For your mother’s sake,” she finally insisted, putting it around my neck herself.

How is one supposed to say no in a situation like that, with someone in such obvious distress? I just nodded, and she seemed relieved, but I was left uneasy. Maybe the crucifix made some of those old superstitions she brought up feel more real? Either way, I’m left waiting for the bus, mulling over what she said. I find my hand making its way to touch the crucifix around my neck – I can’t help but be aware of it.

I suppose, if something happens to me, Mina will have this blog. At least I can say I called her and heard her voice before we took off.

The Coronea de Aur (The Crown of Gold, I think) hotel is quite the modern business hotel in Bistrita, so it’s a very different setting to suddenly be reminded of the spookiness of the region in. November Astro Forecast

Happy Scorpio Season, Stargazers!

The Sun is now living in Plutonic domain and very soon, All Hallows Eve will be upon us, ushering in November- our very own eclipse season. Needless to say, this will likely be a sort of “quantum leap” for us here on earth. Eclipses are always “turning point” periods. Periods where your higher consciousness gets a spartan kick from the universe. 

So here’s a glimpse at what we can expect coming our way this month:

November 1st&2nd- Venus Crosses the Galactic Center. 

The center of our universe sits between the constellations of Sagittarius and Scorpius, where the Milky Way appears brightest. 27 degrees Sagittarius to be exact. With Venus, planet of love crossing this part of our galaxy, It’s energy will be activated.  What you might notice a new sense of boldness in love. New love might come your way or your sense of worth might be rejuvenated. Heart Chakra might open up and heal or a bold declaration of love might soften even the coldest of us signs [You know who you are].

November 2nd- Mercury exits Shadow Period

It’s safe. You can come out now, your ex has probably gotten their wits about them and won’t message you anymore... at least until the next retrograde, lol. That and communication/electronics/travel etc. will likely be working on all cylinders. Mental faculties will be at 100 again which means any miscommunications or misunderstandings you might’ve been dealing with during the Rx period will be resolved.

November 4th- Super New Moon in Scorpio

Self-care. Sleep. Meditation. New moons are always a period of time where we have a clean slate. It’s time to set your intentions. Start manifesting. And with this moon being in the enigmatic sign of Scorpio, you’ll be getting a double whammy of intense Plutonic energy. It’s time for complete transformation. You’ll likely be feeling like you want to protect your energy. Do some introspection. Pay attention to your dreams as it’s not just Neptune that rules this area. Pluto also deals with the subconscious and the Moon [unconscious/sleep/hidden] being in this sign, you might get some important messages coming through. Prophetic ones.

November 5th- Venus Enters Capricorn

Venus slides into the earthy and distinguished sign of Capricorn. However, unlike Venus’ typical 20 days stint in a sign, it will actually remain in Capricorn for an uncommonly strange amount of time. This is due to it’s upcoming retrograde on the 19th of December. Now, whenever a celestial body remains in a sign for an elongated amount of time, it is the Universe’s not so chill way of letting us know that it’s an imperative time to work on the sign’s energy individually and collectively. The issues unearthed will be relating to our personal relationships, money, and love. In addition, since Saturn’s energy is on this hot planet, on a global level, we’ll see issues surrounding government, banks, and health. Responsibility will also be a key theme. We’ll be forced to reckon with how much we are or are not taking in the aforementioned areas. Others may also be forced to reckon with how much responsibility they are taking with you. Stay alert between now and December 19 to what you experience, because once Venus enters retrograde these are the lessons/issues you’ll be commissioned by the universe to sort out.

November 11th- Jupiter Moon Conjunction

On 11/11 a portal will open. If any of you subscribe to numerology, you all know 1111 is a very powerful number. It’s all about alignment. Good humor/moods will abound. Great time to host a party. With the Moon in Aquarius making a 4 degree applying conjunction to Jupiter, luck is also intensified here. Abundance and windfalls can be expected as well. Some of you might find some fortune regarding travel, your studies, unexpected [Aqua] lucky events may occur for you here or perhaps a wish you asked for last 11/11 might come to fruition on this day. Anything is possible with Uranus and Jupiter touching. 

November 19th- Full Moon in Taurus and Full Partial Lunar Eclipse

Huge day in the astrosphere, folks. Fated day. Though partial lunar eclipses aren’t as powerful as total lunar eclipses, the energy is still formidable. Eclipses always represent transformations and turning points. The Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars will all be in either a water or earth sign so there’s a need for balance but this is also a time of healing.

Water nourishes earth and earth stabilizes water.

Think back to this past April when the Full Moon was in Scorpio.

Remember what I told you about things being triggered during that time and how you’d have to face them/reevaluate them now?

 Well ante up. Time to bring closure to some situations. Time to make space for the new. Mars will also be forming a square to Saturn that day so discipline is something to take note of. Taurean energy is also stubborn and with the Sun in Scorpio, there’ll be this Marshawn Lynch Beast-mode push-pull until you’re forced to make room for whatever the universe wants to air drop into your life now. It might have to do with your possessions, your self-worth, your values. In fact, the last time we were dealing with a Taurus eclipse lunar cycle was in 2013-2014. Can you remember what was going on from May to November during that time? It might be helpful to evaluate as you’ll be building on whatever lessons you learned during that time. Themes may even resurface. How you approach them will be very telling regarding your person evolution.

November 23rd- Sun Enters Sagittarius

Jupiter takes the Sun’s reigns and we go from intense, sultry and introspective to expansive and optimistic. Moving from a water to fire season is a lot like entering a sauna. Fire and Water make steam-so the switch always brings this  sense of renewal. Like this funny anon mentioned , Sag season, being ruled by Jupiter can bring lots of luck — you might randomly find 20 bucks on the street or find yourself getting out of a speeding ticket with just a warning. Whatever happens in these next 30 or so days, you can take what you’ve learned from Scorpio season and apply it. You might be feeling more adventurous and expansive anyway, and as Jupiter is ruler of the 9th house of higher learning and philosophy, it might be time share what you learned. Get that good karma up.

Hi Daisie. How do you know Harry is on medication for hair loss treatment? I don't mean to sound like I'm doubting you, I don't, I was just curious if there were noticeable signs he's getting something done?

Hi dear,

There's a receipt in the tags I linked, and beyond that, it's just common sense. He mentioned when he was very young and in 1D that he knew he'd be the 1st to go bald, bc he knows it's genetic in his family. So it's only logical that he'd seek out treatment given it's something that's preventable to an extent. Also, being a public figure, and a public figure whose image is highly linked to his hair, makes it even more imperative that he take the steps to take care of it. With that in mind, then you move to what treatment is: and the first step is prevention. In this case it's in the form of medication and PRP therapy (both linked in the post). There's just simply no reason for him not to do it, and when you know just a little bit about it it's obvious that he'd do it.

I think hair loss is super stigmatized for everyone, and most people try to hide or disguise it if they notice hair thinning/recession, when really there are steps you can take to prevent it to an extent, and options if your case is further along. Of course not everyone can afford all treatments or procedures, but I'd imagine that it is way more accessible than most people realize. Particularly in terms of it even being an option - I think many people aren't even aware that there are real and effective treatments available, so they don't even look for it.

Harry has all the access and money to get any sort of necessary treatment for this so there's seemingly no reason why he would not. It's also super duper common among celebs, especially male celebs, bc their appearance is normally a huge part of their branding and image, so I think nearly all male celebs would get some of these treatments or procedures (either as prevention or intervention) at some point in their lives.
