Idk about Hiddles but Harry’s hairline has had the same shape since he was a literal child. Legitimately there are childhood photos of him where it already looks M shaped. Obviously as he grew up it matured, because it does for ALL men, those with male pattern baldness and those without it. It will go back an inch or two. For someone with an already M shaped hairline, that will look like hair loss.

There were headlines about Harry’s hairline when he was 19, because that’s when he first started to push his hair off his forehead. Even so, 1D’s hairstylist would fluff the sides of his hair so it would cover up his widow peeks. There are only a handful of photos of that era (circa 2013/early 2014) where you can kinda see the hairline shape, particularly when he was doing sports and pushing his hair back with a headband or something (you can check them out if you want, some pics of him playing tennis and some at the gym around that time).

In 2014 he started growing his hair, and he would get a side part, always on the same side. People were so distracted by his longer hair that I didn’t really see that many notice the shape of his hairline. This is 2014/early 2015 when he was 20. Then he grew his hair super long and nobody noticed the hairline anymore, UNLEES he was wearing a bun (and the bun can be deceiving because depending on how you pull it, some of the hair at the top can spread sideways and cover the shape of the hairline). I will say the hair does seem to be a tad less dense on the side he parted it, which is extremely normal even for women! Pro tip for everyone who parts their hair to one side or the other, change your parting, you’re probably experiencing hair loss as well.

2016 he was mostly MIA, in 2017 he released a documentary and at some point they show him backstage for the music video of sign of the times, and they do a mask thing for a potential body double (that they didn’t end up using). When they do that, you can perfectly see how M shaped his hairline is. He was 23.

I honestly don’t think it has changed much, if at all, since then. I remember a couple of shows during his first solo tour in theaters (I think it was Boston?) he still had 1D’s stylist at the time, Lou Teasdale, but she was becoming an influencer so she didn’t travel with him (he later fired her and she got bitter about that), so for several of those shows he just put a clip on his fringe because I guess it bothered him when performing. You can see that his hairline looked really high already, but i suspect it was just the shape it’d always been, just unobstructed for the first time.

Since then, I have not seen changes. People think that he got a hair transplant because he buzzed his hair but he obviously didn’t. Depending on the angle and how he’s wearing his hair, people will believe he’s either going bald or got a fresh new hair transplant, on and off for years. Which is obviously absurd because it would mean he got 3 transplants a year and lost all the hair in them every time, for the past several years. The back of his head would be the Sahara desert at this point of that had happened.

Is he going bald? I don’t think so. Should he get a hair transplant? No, if he doesn’t see any changes. It’ll be obvious, for one, since it would change the natural shape of his hairline he’s always had, but for two, he could lose the hair behind the transplant (this happened to Nadal and Rooney) and then it’d look a mess. You only have so much donor hair, you have to consult with doctors for when the best time to do it is.

It’s entirely possible he’s had some mild hair loss but it’s still not time. It’s possible he’s had no hair loss but it will be triggered soon at some point (2/3 men experience baldness by the time they’re 50). He’s probably been on hair loss medication since he was a teenager so he already has an advantage. Genetically speaking, while his uncle on his mom’s side is bald, his grandpa on his moms side had hair until he died in his late 80s and his dad still has a full head of hair in his 60s, so he does seem to have an advantage there too. He just got the short end of the stick with the hairline shape.

That’s always been his hairline. Obviously it recedes a bit with time but that’s just what it is. When he styled it to cover his forehead u couldn’t see that but 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m not sure he’s a good candidate for a transplant because again as I understand it, it’s taking hairs and replanting them where they’ve stopped growing. I think completely changing your hairline would be a lot trickier? Like I showed with the Andrew thing, all they did was fill in the gaps to return it to exactly how it was in his 20s. That’s different to trying to completely change the shape.

Douglas and Taylor were seen together months apart. Yes, his reps didn’t like her, and put out bad stories about her. I still recall the sly laugh he had when asked about her. He just responded she was fantastic. He had the same people as Hiddles, if I recall correctly. Later, it was reported by a well known gossip figure, that Hiddles people were trying to copy what Calvin did and poison the well against Taylor. It didn’t work. Everyone around Hiddles hated Taylor except for Nic Hoult. He said he roots for love. Obviously, I think Hiddles was truly in love, but Taylor didn’t feel the same, talking to Joe while with him. I know Hiddles fans are happy she did the same thing to Joe, by talking to Matty. I always wondered why Taylor never had a nice song about Tom. Getaway Car was no Love Story.

because hiddles is very fucking annoying and I’m pretty sure she never fancied him lol she just liked that he gave her attention and he was a much bigger fuck you 🖕🏼🖕🏼 to Calvin than Joe would’ve been and I think her priority at that point was pissing Calvin off and the fact that she kinda had a thing for Joe was largely irrelevant because… Taylor’s a messy gal lmao. She would totally hold off on a guy she fancies (that didn’t seem like a good longterm prospect either fwiw like it should’ve logically been a situationship) to piss off her recent longterm ex who she thought she’d marry. Idk about either Calvin or Hiddles “poisoning the well” tho - Calvin fought back to try tell it from his POV (which he’s entitled to do) and Hiddles went on record with all the bolognese crap so he def didn’t approve negative articles about her. Idk if he and Dougie had the same people but Dougie’s people also didn’t say anything that bad - they said she came on too strong and Dougie just wants to be friends and since she carried on hanging with him I think she may have approved that because, while unflattering, all it said is he doesn’t want a relationship and SHE TOO did not want a whole ass relationship with Dougie but the pressure was on. Reasonable thing to lie about. Can’t really - def couldn’t back in 2013/2014 - put out a thing like “this is a casual situationship don’t ship - they like one another and all but it doesn’t seem that deep” 💀💀

How I feel about this character: mayhaps i stanned back in 2012 🙈 overall a good/interesting character, but not someone i put a lot of energy into!

My unpopular opinion about this character: mcu did a good job with his arc 🤷🏽‍♀️.
