hii🫶🏼
this is a really random question but i havent seen anyone talk about it
whats does vertex conjunct pluto mean?(in capricorn/2degrees)
𝄞⨾𓍢ִ໋ You have a strong sense of loyalty, independence, responsibility & purpose. You may have great ambitions too like wanting something specific to happen in your life ; making a big change especially when it comes to your status or wealth since both Capricorn & Taurus are quite materialistic. You may have been born to be a guiding presence to your family especially if they haven't been at the greatest point financially.
Of course the house placement will also impact the overall meaning, but generally this is what it ikely entails. You may be the only hard worker/ seen as successful amongst your siblings or close relatives for example and the only one to get a certain amount of status to you. Older people around you or your parents may also put a lot of hope on you.
I don't think it's definitive on its own, but it does show great potential & a great desire for something along that line!

Making the Move: Essential Tips for International Students Who Study in New Zealand
Moving to New Zealand for your studies is an exciting journey—full of promise, new experiences, and personal growth. But transitioning to a new country and academic environment also comes with challenges. Whether you're headed to Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, or a smaller town, being well-prepared can make all the difference.
Here are essential tips to help international students settle in smoothly and make the most of their time studying in New Zealand.

1. Sort Your Student Visa Early
Before booking your flight or packing your bags, make sure your student visa is approved. You’ll need:
An offer of place from a New Zealand education provider
Proof of funds for tuition and living expenses
Medical and travel insurance
A passport valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended stay
Tip: Apply at least 2–3 months in advance to avoid processing delays.
2. Get Familiar with Kiwi Culture
New Zealand has a laid-back, friendly culture. Kiwis value honesty, equality, and work-life balance. It’s also important to respect the indigenous Māori culture, which plays a central role in society.
Try: Learn a few Māori words like kia ora (hello) or whānau (family). Attend local cultural events and explore traditional customs.
3. Budget and Plan Your Finances
New Zealand is more affordable than many Western countries, but it’s still essential to budget. On average, students need NZD 15,000–20,000 annually for living costs.
Expenses to plan for:
Rent and utilities
Food and groceries
Transport
Study materials
Health insurance
Bonus: As a student, you can work part-time (up to 20 hours/week) during the semester and full-time during breaks.
4. Secure Accommodation in Advance
You can choose from:
On-campus housing: Safe, convenient, and includes meals.
Homestays: Live with a Kiwi family, ideal for cultural immersion.
Shared flats (flats or “flatties”): More independence and usually lower cost.
Tip: Start looking at least 6–8 weeks before arrival and be cautious of online rental scams.
5. Open a New Zealand Bank Account
Having a local bank account makes managing your money and receiving part-time job payments much easier. Major banks like ANZ, BNZ, and ASB offer student-friendly services.
Documents needed:
Passport
Proof of enrolment
Student visa
Proof of address
6. Stay Connected: Get a Local SIM Card
Getting a local number will help you stay in touch with friends, flatmates, and employers. Providers like Spark, Vodafone, and 2degrees offer prepaid and student packages.
7. Use Public Transport and Student Discounts
Cities in New Zealand have efficient public transport systems. Student discounts are available for trains, buses, and ferries. Download local apps like AT Mobile (Auckland) or Metro (Christchurch) for route info.
8. Take Advantage of Support Services
Universities offer excellent international student support:
Orientation programs
Counselling and mental health services
Academic tutoring
Career advice
Tip: Don’t hesitate to reach out—it’s all part of the student experience.
9. Know Your Work Rights
You can legally work part-time on a student visa. Popular part-time jobs include:
Hospitality and retail
Tutoring or campus jobs
Call centers or internships
Post-study options: Graduates may be eligible for a post-study work visa of up to 3 years depending on qualification and region.
10. Explore the Country
Studying in New Zealand isn’t just about academics—exploring the country is part of the experience! Visit places like:
Rotorua (geothermal parks and Māori culture)
Queenstown (adventure capital)
Hobbiton (for Lord of the Rings fans)
Fiordland National Park and the Southern Alps
Plan short trips with friends during semester breaks or long weekends.
Final Thoughts
Starting your student journey in New Zealand is a life-changing experience. With the right preparation and mindset, you’ll not only succeed academically but also build unforgettable memories, lifelong friendships, and a strong foundation for your future career.
Need Help with Your Move?
Grace International offers end-to-end support for students heading to New Zealand—from choosing the right course and university to visa assistance and pre-departure guidance. Let the experts make your transition smooth and stress-free.
