It was nothing but discomfort that I have felt for a few sessions now.

An important part of the epic Mahabharata is the battle of Kurukshetra. In fact, right at the start of the battle is the conversation between Arjun and Bhagwan Krishna. The conversation is covered in the holy book Bhagwad Gita.

Arjun and his son Abhimanyu fight from the good side. One of the chief strategists on the bad side is Jayadratha. He is the cause of Abhimanyu’s death. Jayadratha has mastery in rearranging battle formations in an unconquerable manner. Abhimanyu’s death makes his father Arjun take a vow to kill Jayadratha.

The day comes when Arjun begins fighting the ever changing formations put in place by the expert Jayadratha. Then comes the day when Arjun says ‘Enough! Either I slay Jayadratha before sunset today or I commit suicide.’ Arjun begins to get tired battling.

Bhagwan Krishna creates a false sunset by the miracle of a solar eclipse. Jayadratha comes out from behind his battle formation to rejoice. Arjun takes aim and Jayadratha dies.

Not all the bad guys in the Mahabharata die. It’s interesting to note that after the battle, one of the baddies is actually left wandering lost in a forest. But Jayadratha dies. And he dies in a moment. He has died at the exact same moment in the Mahabharata since the Mahabharata has been written.

I think Jayadratha is the personification of the human response to fear. I strongly believe that the variety of ways in which we respond to fear is much larger in number than the list researching psychiatrists have come up with. It can’t simply be fight, flight or freeze. There are so many ways in which we survive each day.

There is a point when we say ‘Enough! Either I immortalise today or I die.’ Then again, when I think of it, it seems so simple. Unless one kills one’s desire to keep the body going, how does one use the body to seek immorality?

It was comforting for me to find out that in the month gone by, I have advanced enough as a meditator to hear sounds in my head. To hear sounds in the head after one’s spinal Kundalini has been stirred is a sure sign of advancing. The type of sounds associated with opening of some chakras has been well documented in ancient Sanskrit writings.

So in-depth are the Sanskrit writings that there are many translations available on the internet. And many more commentaries on those English translations have been put together as articles freely available on the internet.

If you ask me, hearing sounds in the head is nothing but freely rising life energies activating certain brain cells. The activation is such that one hears drum beats or other sounds coming from one’s own head. So far, so good.

Guess what Gurudev Paramahansa Yogananda has to say about the head with regards meditation? He says to keep the head straight up and to keep the attention ‘between one’s eyebrows’. Ever since the other night when I was disturbed out of the depths of meditation to the shallow surface of observing my immediate environment, I have been keeping my attention between my eyebrows.

Somewhere between the eyebrows lies the exit gate of the third eye. I can’t afford to miss my mark this time. The third eye is an exit for all the life energy that’s floating up to my head. My head will be able to take only so much of Peaceful energy and after that the head will have to open the blessed portal for energy to stream out.

Both the meditations from yesterday felt like me dunking my brain in a Peace mix and then returning to mundane chores to find some brain cells lost to Peace. My thoughts aren’t running the same 48 years old course anymore.

Had many dreams last night but I write them down shortly.

In first one I had sleep paralyzis / out of body experience. In the dream I was visiting my sister and we talked about it where I would sleep. She had extra bedroom where I was planning to sleep but then sis said she has scary Mickey Mouse poster on her wall and she can't sleep in her room. I told her right away that she goes to sleep in her second bedroom while I sleep on the couch.

Next sis and I were on her bed in a candle light, doing some awake meditation. A sitting figure started to manifest on the bed against the wall. Whenever we asked a question with correct response, this figure grew and got more details. I started to hesitate, telling sis we should stop but she told me firmly we need to do this (to grow, let go of the past etc).

After next ask and answer the figure got colors and beautiful shades. I said to it how beautiful colors and shades it got. Right after this, this figure transformed into a huge living copy of Arnold (you know, Terminator). Behind me now sat real Arnold abd this copy attacked on him, starting to strangle him. I grabbed this copy's long naked arm, telling him few times to stop. I said I would give him a kiss if he stops. He now grabbed on me, looking at me while tilting his head. He asked: "Is this what you are afraid?" I instantly said: "Yes. One of the many things since I've never kiss before."

He calmed down, deciding it would be enough for me to just lay on the bed with him in, in his arms. I did but for a some reason I started to panic slowly. I managed to get away from him in the hallway, seeing the other bedroom's doorway. I tried to run there but couldn't move. Now I started to realize I'm having sleep paralyze / out of body experience. Next I am on my mattress, trying to get up, but nothing happens. I am now back to this hallway, trying to call my sis since I know she's in that room. She comes out and I wake up.

I think I had a dream between this and next dream but I don't remember it anymore.

In last dream I was in this big weird building / - house My family was there too and my father was terrorizing us - like he did in real life. I had enough. I told my siblings I will face father. My sister went and locked herself in one room while my little brother was behind me.

I walked to my father and started to angrily rant at him: "You are horrible person! You were always angry! You kept us in fear! You treated us badly!" Father, naturally, got super pissed and tried to yell back at me, but I kept talking over him which made him shut up. He also started to listen to me, calming and understanding as I kept going:

"You never hugged us! You never played with us! Never kissed us! Never read a bedtime story! Never encouraged us! You never were like a normal father! You never gave us money - which I kind of understand since money was tight - but you still could had given each of us 2 euros and say: "Buy something but try to save 50 cents for the next week." That way you had taught us to use money."

He was silent but there was gentle, slightly sad, understanding look in his eyes. He said he could had done better and from that point on, he treated us better in the dream.

I feel like I’m sinking. I’m not sad nor depressed, but my mind is desperate.

And of course, it all started with a book.

I crave a kind of intimacy that I can’t seem to find. I experience it in books and rarely in movies. I’ve experienced love, but never that intimacy that makes you feel like there’s only you two in the world.

I want to experience being touched in a way that’s not sexual but not innocent either. I want my throat to go dry just from their lingering touches. I want to feel relieved simply by having their body close to mine. I want them to play with my hair but consciously, aware of the texture, and then to place them behind my ear.

I want them to look at me as if I’m the only thing in the world, to kiss me as if I was air and they were suffocating.

I want that kind of love that’s instilled with passion and intimacy, someone that stays with me because they want to, but a want that feels like a need because of how strong it is, a want what borders obsession.

And when I find it in books I want to cry because what I experience in my life doesn’t even come close to what I experience in my mind.

So, when I do find this in books, I go into a spiral of agony and frustration, I isolate and I feel a kind of nostalgia I have no right to experience ‘cause those things only ever happened in my mind.

But, God, it feels so unfair to taste it and never actually feeling it…

Die für eine Gefährdungshaftung nach § 7 StVG (Betriebsgefahr) anspruchsbegründende Tatsache des Entstehens eines Schadens beim Betrieb eines Fahrzeugs hat der Geschädigte darzulegen und zu beweisen. Das Risiko der Nichterweislichkeit eines behaupteten technischen Defekts des Motorrollers als Ursache des Brandes des Fahrzeugs geht zu Lasten des Schädigers.
