hi omg im a tad late on this, but i was wondering how you achieved this depth in color look w/the lines!! it says blending mode but im not sure if this is color burn, linear burn, or if the lines are clipped to something? :o

on this pic and on the other pieces with the kozmo brush from my brush examples, the blending mode for the brush itself is linear burn!

you draw using a light color and layer your lines over what's already been laid down to darken where you want

19. What do they wish they knew more about?

Artificer stuff -- Yuri feels that he really missed out on learning more with his dad dying when he was so young. The orphanage didn't exactly support those sorts of crafts - Yuri could only do handmade things with what little he had, which was usually scraps of metal and cloth and wood. Now that his father is back, Yuri aspires to be as smart and capable as him, but he feels so behind...

21. What are they most afraid of? What made them fear this?

I was going to say his former abuser, Ismo, but the truth is, the thing that really scares Yuri is being alone. He hates being on his own, being secluded or ignored. After his parents died, he was sent to the orphanage and purposefully deprived of any attention by Ismo to make him more desperate and dependent. The other orphans were told not to interact with him. Yuri's a social creature, he *needs* interaction, and the cruelest thing would be to deny him that. With silence comes bad memories flooding back all at once - the sounds of his friends are the only thing that grounds him.

22. What is something others admire about them? Are they aware that people admire them for this?

I think his friends really admire his wit and compassion, the fact that he has empathy for people he really has no business to. Even the worst people. He can be crude and sarcastic, but he also loves making his friends laugh (and they do, a lot). When they smile, it makes him most happy. I don't know if Yuri is too aware yet, because he's dealing with a lot of self doubt, but he knows that his friends care, and that's enough for now.
