Sel (Selene) is a snooty cat villager with the education hobby. He can be found wearing glasses at times and examining the stars through her telescope. They enjoy learning about astronomy. They also find enjoyment in teaching others about their interests (but tends to get annoyed if the person doesn't pay attention to what they're saying), reading books, stargazing, fossil collecting, and going to the museum. Selene works as a waiter for the restaurant in Happy Home Paradise.

Adelaide "Ida" Pidge, they/he, age 19, is the Scout on Programming Numerical Knowledge, or PNK team. While they are classified as a Scout, their role in PNK is more akin to a Spy. PNK is a research-focused team, rarely fighting. Ida's job is to go out and get information that the team needs.

Aside from being a Scout oc, they are also an Animal Crossing oc. They are dating Tangy, she/her, age 20. (I'm playing acnh so they're on an island but in their actual lore they're in the middle of the woods near the RED, BLU, and PNK bases)(also don't think too hard about logistics the crossover is just for fun)

They were raised by raccoons (normal raccoons, not villagers), as their biological father didn't want them and abandoned them in the woods a week after their birth. (they were recently adopted by @that-handsome-rogue so they have a good dad now !!) grew up feral, not knowing how to speak until they were almost eight, and not learning to read until nearly fourteen. They struggle with identity issues due to being raised nonhuman, and as such they still act like a raccoon at times. Technically speaking, their first language is raccoon, so they can imitate them flawlessly.

Now the reason for this post: I don't know what accent to give them. I do know that there are a few words here and there that they pronounce in a different accent because they learned English by listening to the people in the nearby town (akin to Meowth from Pokemon)

But what should their "main" accent be? Considering TF2 takes place in New Mexico that's where their woods are, so southern would be logical. On the other hand, I like the idea of them having a British accent, which they would have picked up from a British resident in the town.

don't take that last option too seriously i just wanted to be funny lmao

edit: chat im gonna be honest after i posted this I started rooting for british so that's most likely what I'm going with but feel free to vote anyway !! i like to see poll results :3

I've been playing so much ACNH (and pocket camp) so I drew my Animal Crossing OC named Ramon once more. Who isn't based on anyone specific nor is he just a pre-existing character but turned into a villager 🗣️

Driving him out is very difficult. He often stays out of spite or feels challenged into staying.
