design thoughts below cut

SG scrapper's design/color palette is just his funpub design with the bucket kibble changed (because i'm the artist and i get to add what i like). that's about it. don't fix what ain't broke, bc he's so cute :,)

though i did also change the red cross symbol to the autobot medical insignia from IDW1 bc. well i think you know why lol

i'm not totally sold on SG onslaught's colors here. first i tried to give him a desaturated gold/purple-brown combo with a purple visor (complementary to his original yellow visor), but then i realized i had just made him swindle, so i changed the purple to this light blue- which looks really nice (blue and gold is my favorite color combo) but it's also not very different from his G1/combiner wars colors. then again, nothing else would suit him, so- again, don't fix what ain't broke, right? that's also why i kept his helm black

i also didn't give ons a decepticon insignia because uhhhh. to be honest, i still don't know how the combaticons are going to work in this universe besides being their own tight-knit group that usually gets into danger, so. yeah 👍 that's why all i know so far is i want him to have a slightly customized look (hence the "combaticons" written on his arm, team pride)

SG onslaught probably doesn't wear his mask outside of combat while SG scrapper probably has it on almost all the time
