I was gonna do full teams but then I was like ok thts gonna b 2 much work, I did come up w teams for them tho so I'll put those + reasoning under da cut

I don't think he'd catch a Cubone but with Cubones often being portrayed as orphans n stuff I like th idea of one just tagging along w him and him taking care of her. Not even using her to battle or catching her or anything. Also Mismagius because witch and also methinks Cas wld like ghost types.

Ok so this one must look sooo like HUH?? But to ME Mimikyu is sooo Gabe like just th whole concept of Mimikyu disguising itself as pikachu (th v popular nd beloved pokémon) and Gabriela pretending to be human and feeling like her real self as a vampire is a monster.

So once again like no I don't think she'd actively want to catch one but I love the idea of one still coming on her path somehow.

For Cas Gengar and Houndoom because I think he'd think they're COOL and he'd like ghost and dark types. Also Gengar is my fave pokémon nods badge of honour. Same goes for Grimmsnarl + ik it's more based off trolls, but it has like witchy vibes 2 me, like those green ones w th pointy noses. It's counterpart in th other game is Hatterene n thts The Witch but doesn't fit him much imo. Also Impidimp (which involves into Grimmsnarl) just kinda fits him imo bc annoying lil pranksters tht steal from ppl n stuff, initially I was gonna put some in th drawing tht were pulling his hair n stuff lol.

For Gabe, Sylveon because it evolves thru high friendship and methinks she'd be besties with all her pokémon. Dachsbun bc I hc her being into cooking and baking so I wanted a mon thts a nod to that also it's cutiieee and methinks she'd like cute pokémon lol. Meganium is more vibes based bc I love drawing her with flowers n stuff + I cn def see Chikorita as her starter. Sawsbuck wld be th autumn form ofc because Crimson Beech, umm also I chose it bc I hc deer r her fave animal. Cherrim bc I always sorta associate Gabe with th sun/summer (yes ironic bc vampire but she always feels like th sun and summer to Cas' moon and winter) and Cherrim changes forms in sunshine so I have tht same association with it.

So, kept seeing cool Batb x Pokemon au art.. (*ahem* @Luni-mina they've got great art *ahem*) which ofc inspired me and immediately made me start thinking abt what pokemon Ophelia would have. Realistically she probably wouldn't have this many?? but also they're mostly plant pokemon so like.. she's a gardener guys it makes sense TRUST. plus I'm mega indecisive and I literally did a whole notes file & a google slideshow to narrow them down this much so 😭😭

I imagine if the curse doesn't happen in this au, she'd get her character arc via getting a bounsweet and having to deal with its shenanigans through all it's evolutions- learning to be more outgoing & social through her pokemon, or rather her pokemon dragging her into it lol.

Bonus doodle: Based on the Florges lore about how they take really strict & good care of their chosen garden, doing so for hundereds of years. I feel like it makes sense for the castle to have that going on, so Ophelia has a Florges for her boss basically.

& then there's a Lilligant that's just.. there, in the gardens. Ophelia kinda just assumed it was considered apart of the gardens and cares for it just as she would anything else- when they cross paths once in awhile, that is- but she's kind of realized she doesn't actually have.. like, any confirmation of that. This Lilligant could belong to someone. or be a wild one that just wanders in. But Florges doesn't seem to mind, so Ophelia will just carry on as usual.

I planned to post these with OTH x pokemon doodles as well (because I had Several Ideas) but I want to finish those sketches more so I'll post them l8r lol

first off- I am SURE each of her pokemon has like, an Actual Name but *I* Have not come up with them yet so. oops. srry abt that

She's had her pokemon through all their evolutionary stages besides Vileplume (got as a Gloom) and Cherrim (got fully evolved). I don't have a sure timeline of When her pokemon evolved and whatnot so I've just drawn them fully evolved. She isn't one to do pokemon battles so they were able to evolve via- other means, ig. Cultivating them like plants idk.

Fomantis I think is implied that their energy storage thing is to save up to evolve (iirc) so Ophelia would've just supported it in that.

Leavanny is more of a mystery to me? Tsareena would be picking fights of its own accord, so y'know.

I imagine she got her Gloom (plus got it evolved to Vileplume (necessity due to Glooms smell)(Vileplume has, surprisingly, no mentions of a bad smell in its pokedex entries. unless I missed something lol)) & her Fomantis before working for the castle- Fomantis evolving into Lurantis sometime into her employment.

(to clarify how she got Fomantis- it wouldn't have been a Personal Gift, rather someone needing to not it for whatever reason and Ophelia happening to be around to take up the offer of caring to the lil one.)

Sewaddle she would've gotten while working at the castle, not sure of the story though- probs found it hanging around the garden chewing on something it shouldn't lol. Since she got Swaddle though, it's helped her out with pruning & such around the garden.

Absol keeps near her and is the one to pull her out of her daydreams if she zones out to far or needs to pay attention to something.

Her other pokemon also probs help her around the garden, but not to the same extent. Just little fetch quests probably. Well, Tsareena would probs do more.. once that whole arc happens lol

3am thoughts but my brain is thinking about jo1 and ini in the pokemon universe,,, like fengfan’s favorite pokemon is salamence and IT JUST MAKES SENSE because he would be so gentle and patient with a bagon and thats exactly what you need to make it a salamence,,, nishi and a grookey that bonks him whenever he does something silly but will eventually grow into a musician just like him,,, syoya with his munchlax partner in crime,,, takumi (ini) with his pawmot and everyone saying they look alike,,, ruki with a cherrim which JUST MAKES SENSE,,, takumi (jo1) with a milotic that hes very protective of because hes been caring for it since it was a shy feebas,,, THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS

OFC LOOOOOL it's plenty of fun to watch when it comes around. i watched like a business insider video about how they made the stones and it was very interesting!!!!!

OR just bc it's so pretty an alolan vulpix who he tenderly looks after and like sho gets him a ice stone so it can evolve into ninetales........ ughhgggghgh.... OK NO COMPLAINTS HERE that's SO true so factual. i was just thinking tk wynaut bc they're both silly but god you are so right i can't even think of what else

considering yudai with the girl of all time gardevoir. it's his loud screechy ass and the most composed gorgeous pokemon! it's not the most perfect fit but sky with a beldum bc he doesn't care if it only knows one move!!! or maybe even a machoke who he REFUSES to trade away for the evolution!!!!!!! also maybe ren with an exeggutor would be funny... or a buneary that just stuck to him when he was young and is now a lopunny....... oh my GOD wait. shosei with a hattenna ......... or an altaria..... maybe a leavanny........

I’ve had a couple of pokemon au ideas for a while so might as well share here!

Wilbur with a Sandslash. Just because. Also an Absol.

Dream with a Reuniclus bc of the face and the colors.

Tubbo with an Espurr bc both are small and cute but terrifying.

Philza should have at least a Staraptor and a Corviknight. Also a Dusknoir to symbolize his connection with Death (Mumza) since Dusknoir guides souls to the afterlife.

Sapnap with a Magmar. Self explanatory.

Fundy with a Vulpix and Mienshao.

Ranboo with an Umbreon is a nice idea.

Quackity with a Golduck, Porigon 2 and Ludicolo. All of them look like ducks to me.

Skeppy with a Carbink and a Barbaracle.

Sam with a Watchog, Conkeldurr and a Garchomp. Sort of like an “intimidating warden vibes”.

Puffy with an Ampharos, Perrserker and Milktank.

Eret should have a Togekiss and a Latias and Foolish should have a Latios to symbolize their connection (Eternal Duo).

Purpled should have a Toxicroak and Mightyena (for mercenary work).

I see Ponk with a Tropius to kinda symbolize the lemon trees. Also a Weavile bc Ponk likes to steal a lot.

Antfrost with a Pyroar. (Velvet would also have a Pyroar)

Schlatt with a Persian bc he gives off Giovanni vibes. Also a Tauros or Bouffalant.

Punz with a Lycanrock (day) and Ninjask.

Hannah with literally every flower themed Pokemon. In this case Florges, Roserade and Vileplume.

Slimecicle should also have a Sligoo friend!

gonna go through all of these, and i dont mind the long list!! i love to talk about pokemon aus it's so fun, i guess the only thing i'd ask is to break it up into parts so i can answer it separately? i don't want a singular post to get too long, but no worries!

• umbreon ranboo hgngng i had a really hard time deciding whether to give ranboo an umbreon or an espeon.. i ultimately went with espeon since i draw ranboo with a split tail also so they r matching! i could also give him an umbreon if i wanted..

• already gave quackity a psyduck & ducklett, ludicolo is good, ive always loved lotad they're just little guys

• skeppy with barbaracle and carbink!! also avalugg

• sam deffo has a watchog, i also like garchomp for him. i also gave sam a ferrothorn, graveller (any self destruct pokemon b/c creeper), and a herdier (fran!)

• puffy yes!! i was gonna give her a mareep so eventually she'd get an ampharos, perrserker Your Mind. i also gave her jigglypuff! (captain puff-y)

• eret with a togekiss yes, also eternal duo with latios & latias friends that's cute i like it

• purpled toxicroak and mightyena 👍 also gave him a beheeyem (alien)

• YEAHH PONK TROPIUS AND WEAVILE! i dont have many ideas for ponk's team so i'll need help with that! i really like tropius for some reason so im happy to include one

• antfrost & velvet matching pyroars that's cute yes, just give antfrost a lot of the cat themed pokemon (maybe some bugs also since the ant part, maybe durant)

• yeah definitely schlatt persian & bouffalant, also gave him a dubwool, galvantula (fragrance man- spider), obstagoon, and maybe honchkrow

• punz lycanrock and ninjask 👍 i dont have anything written down for him actually :[

• hannah gets every flower themed pokemon, florges, roserade, and vileplume as you said, also cherrim and venusaur

• yeah definitely gave slimecicle a goomy/sligoo! also maybe a grimer? already have solosis & gulpin for him, and ofc the infamous Mimikyu

Fantasy Teams. // accepting for a little longer

This one was actually tough 👀💦 Didn’t want to reuse any pokemon I’ve already pulled for previous types, and Val likes a bunch of Grass Pokemon.

Whimsicott and Shiinotic are givens, because fairies. Valerie loves the eeveelutions, so Leafeon is an easy pick. Cherrim’s cute, pretty, and reminds her of Johto (because cherry blossoms, which I feel are common throughout the region), so Valerie likes it a lot. 

Jumpluff and Eldegoss are Soft Friends who Valerie would love to cuddle with (alongside Whimsicott too ofc), so I gotta put them on here as well.
