Reader sold herself to Sans to pay for her sister Sasha’s hospital treatments; Sans bought Reader to help him forget his failure to stop the anomaly. Against their better judgments, the two of them fell for each other. But after angering the anomaly, the reset Sans has long awaited has come and gone, and the two of them are stuck in a short time loop.

Sans and Reader made a breakthrough, finding hidden information that could help stop Jerren, but time has run out... Jerren is about to reset, and they’ll lose everything. Reader, who now thinks of Jerren as a god, decides to buy some more time by devoting herself to him. Sans agrees, and after a private, impromptu wedding ceremony, he hypnotizes her so that she won’t remember the information they don’t want Jerren to know: that they may be able to stop him with the hidden lab’s information, and that Sasha is sensitive to the timeline changes.
