I woke up and walked down quickly to the training room. I needed to train more and since that only two days were really left, not counting today, I needed to train harder than ever. I knew I could get physically fit but I also needed to study up on some games and tributes as well. I sat down on the couch in front of the screen and clicked on a random game and started to go through some tribute cards, going back and forth between the two. Meemorizing the cards and what was on the screen. I paused as a tribute was being decapitated and smiled. "Head's up." I whispered to myself. I switched games and then heard someone behind. "You don't have to just stand there, you know that right?"

Deciding that if I got a cut in the arena, I wouldn't know how to treat it, I headed straight to the first aid station as soon as I got the chance. To my luck, somebody else was already there, and as I crept up behind them, I saw it was Adagio, the flirter from the wrestling. I slapped my hands onto his shoulders, then whispered in his ear.

"What's up, Nurse?" I laughed then fell into a chair opposite him.

Climbing | Elijah + Zamara

After mingling with a few of the other tributes, some altercations being better than others I woke up early like usual and sat around for a few hours. Now would usually be the time that I would be out hunting but I obviously wouldn't be able to do that here. I walked into the dining space and saw Garrett sat there reading something. I walked over and sat down next to him and started to eat a bowl of cereal. He put down his paper and looked at me for a while, I'd always admired my brother, he was strong, fast and a hero back home but here, he looked tired. "The Parade was good, it made the two of you look great, we're in talks with sponsors already and your odds came out last night and you're in a good position already just keep it up" I nod and continue to eat my food, it was odd seeing him like this, so alert and well, serious. "Okay mentor, so what's the plan for training?" I say with a grin, he needed to lighten up a bit, he shoved my shoulder and shook his head as he picked up what he was just reading. He showed it to me, it was some sort of schedule for the first day of training. I looked at my name and acknowledged the others of the people I would be training with for the day. "If I were you Eli, I'd speak to Diamond the girl from One and its your choice whether you interact with the others" I smile as I see Zamara's name, training with her will be fun. "Zamara I'll train with, she seems cool" Garrett raised his eyebrow and I shook my head, "It's not like that" Garrett pursed his lips like he was going so say something that he knew I wouldn't like but obviously thought the better of it. "Are we ever going to talk about him?" I bit down on my tongue to stop myself from lashing out at him. I knew he meant well I could tell by the caring look on his face. I stood up, grabbed an apple "There's nothing to talk it, it's over." I said softly before leaving. I was one of the first in the training room and I instantly saw Zamara over at the climbing wall. I walked up behind her as quietly as possible, I managed to get a decent distance before I said "Boo!" "You're an eager beaver aren't you?"

Swinging Some Metal // Swords & Spears // Kineos & Zeke

This was the day to actually get started with everything and I couldn't wait. It was time to start seeing everyone and getting ready. I had a small breakfast and then took the elevator down to the training area. There were already most of the tributes down here and I knew they were serious about all of this. I walked around and then saw someone at the sword and spear area and seemed to know what he was doing.

I walked over and picked up a sword and went up beside him "How are you today?"

Deciding I needed a bit more work on survival techniques, I strolled over to the edible plants and berries station, and sat down. Pulling up two different books, one on plants, one on berries. "Alright, let's get to the studying." I said to myself as I opened both books to the first page.

Just then, I saw Kineos wandering around aimlessly, so waved towards him, "Kineos! Over here!" I laughed, then turned back to my books.

"Let's get started then, Zeke."

That Makes Two || Urban || Allyn & Xavier

Three down. Three to go. The city is next on my list. When I arrived in the bio dome, it was drizzling. A storm would be coming soon by the looks of it. This is good because it would give me a chance to see how well I can operate in extreme weather conditions. I walked over to the trekking station and saw a familiar ass hat tribute there.

I was getting bored of doing nothing. I had to force myself up, but I eventually made it to the training center. When I entered, of course, everyone was busy training already and I was one of the last to arrive.

Today I was sore and the scrapes al over my torso stung, but I wanted to try my hand at something more, 'personal.' I made my way over the the station where a line of various swords rested. The trainer was sitting alone and popped up at the sight of me approaching. "Good mor-" He started. Why were they always so enthusiastic. "Enough." I interrupted "Just sit back down and leave me be, only ask me if i need help If I request so, understand?" I snarled at him

He sat back down and rolled his eyes at me. I picked up one of the swords and I noticed that another boy picked one up as well.

How The Puck Does This Thing Work? || Training Day One- Midday || Rec Room || Colt & Lily

After my morning with Charlie, and a cheeseburger I will never tell Fox I ate, I decide I need to do something fun. I walk past a few stations that look cool, but most of them are already occupied. The ones that are left are empty because they're boring. I pout, trying to find something to do when I stumble upon a small room tucked away in the corner of the training center. I peak my head in and my eyes widen. They were hiding all the fun stuff back here the whole time!

I skip in happily, walking right up to the air hockey table, something I've only seen in comic books. I wasn't even sure they really existed. I gape at it in awe. "Woah." I whisper to no one in particular. I circle it once, finding the puck tucked into one of the slots. I pout, knowing I'll need someone to play with. I glance around, and notice a girl walking nearby. I run over to her with a grin. "Hi! My name's Colt! Wanna play with me?" I say, offering her one of the paddles.

Burning the past. // Darius + Aspen// Fire station

I woke up the next morning and felt terrible. I had a slight headache and I could barley focus. Last night I pissed Mara off even more and I couldn't believe at how bad we were getting. I got out of bed and got dressed. I stopped by the kitchen and chugged some water, hoping that would help. I saw the red stain still against the wall and I just shook my head. Fuck this. I went down to the training area and looked at the list and decided I needed something relaxing for now. I went to the fire station and listened to the trainer on how to start a fire and how to keep it alive. I started to gather my supplies until I heard a cheery voice behind me.

Hurricane Zeke || archery || Zeke & Kyan

After a quick lunch break, I head back to the training center for more practice.  Scanning the center, I peruse the stations and weapons that I've never practiced with, or at least, had little practice with.  My eyes land on the archery station.  The last time I shot an arrow, Kukane nearly died of a heart attack.  The memory brought a light chuckle to my lips as I headed over to the station.

When I got there, the trainer nodded politely as I picked up a medium size titanium bow.  I hold it up, trying to position it comfortably, and pulling the taut string.  When I was satisfied with it, I swung a quiver of arrows over my back and moved toward the shooting range where another boy was already standing there.  I watched him shoot an arrow and nodded.

"Not bad," I tell him with a smile.

Pontius had advised me to do a bit more fighting, to keep my skill levels up before the games began. I walked to the empty wrestling mat this time, and began my ritual. Warmed up, stretched, shadow box with my gloves on.

"Fancy a spar?" The trainer from the boxing ring crossed over from his empty station, and gloved up. I slipped out of my shoes and t-shirt, then nodded. "Finally, you better be ready, pal!" I laughed, and he poised to attack.

I saw it coming, and side-stepped, kicking his left leg from under him, and then getting straight into a rear naked choke. He tapped almost instantly, and then shook my hand. "Nice one, next time, why not try rolling whilst in the choke, it'll help!" I obeyed his command and dodged his attack again, jumping sideways towards him, catching him mid-punch in an arm bar. He tapped almost instantly yet again.

Meeting Death in Person // Puzzles // Gm Xanthus & Kineos

I knew I had to get some more trivia in my life and knew that if I didn't, my mental state would go down, but I didn't think that would actually happen to me. I knew puzzles would be the best place to go so I walked over. The training place was almost empty, people were getting ready for bed and wrapping up some last minute training. I didn't know what time the training place closed so I just shrugged and knew that they would shoo me away eventually.

I set the memory testing on medium just to get my brain going and then the colors started flashing like they had before and then I heard someone come up behind me I turned around and my eyes widen it was one of the Gamemakers, Xanthus. I heard the beep that the test began and smirked. I started to match them correctly without even looking at the buttons and instead, looking at Xanthus the whole time. I heard the right noise going over and over within seconds of each other. "I'll be right with you. I have four left." I pushed the buttons correctly and the test was over. "Perfect score?" I turned and saw the perfect score and smiled "Knew it."

Speak of the Devil || Sutter & GM Nausicaa || Throwing Knives

After a rather excruciating conversation with Carly-Beth, I felt the need to blow off some steam by handling a weapon. I figured I could easily train in something familiar like axes, but then I thought it might be best to learn something new while I was at it. So eventually I made my way over to the throwing knives station. They were usually a common weapon found in the arena so it wouldn't hurt to get familiar with it.

When I got there the trainer told me a few quick pointers and told me about the different sizes that you could find and how it would change the way you threw. It was basic stuff but I didn't doubt that it would be helpful too. Just as I was looking through the shelf of different sizes throwing knives, I heard footsteps clicking towards me. I figured it would just be another tribute but once I looked up I saw I was wrong. GM Nausicaa stood in front of me, and at first I didn't know what to do. Eventually I stood up straight and smirked.

"Well would you look at that? Someone I'd never thought I would have the chance to meet," I said, crossing my arms over my chest as I turned towards her.

You're the Third Wheel || Nox, Tally, and Kaya || Suite/Rock Climbing

I couldn't describe the feeling as I woke up after what might have been the best night of my life. Tally and I were officially together. We were in love and we'd never been happier. I'd have someone by my side to hold onto as I faced what could be my last days alive. It was certainly the silver lining on the dark cloud of my life, that was for sure.

I pulled my training uniform on yet again and proceeded out to the living room for a bite to eat. To my misfortune, Kaya was there, I could see her long hair pulled up as she ate her breakfast. I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. This was going to be super awkward.

I made my way to the table and sat next to her, wordlessly pulling my copy of the list from Olive's fingers and reading it over. I grinned at Izabelle's name, my heart leapt at Tally's, I was excited to see Regulus, and then my stomach dropped to the floor.

Kaya Matzuko.

Of course.

I turned to Kaya, tight-lipped. "Hey, look. We're together."

Sewing up old wounds // Darius + Evie // Medical

I got done with talking with Leo and everyone else and decided to try my hand at medical. If I got hurt I needed to know how to patch myself up. I knew how to take care of small wounds from the cuts on my legs but besides that, i didn't know much of anything else. I sat down beside the dummy and listened to the training go over some of the wounds that could happen. I was more interested in how to treat broken bones and big slashes because that seemed like it would be the cause of any death. I heard a cheery voice behind me and automatically knew who it was when she talked.

Catch up || Chiven

Basically, I got close to no sleep.

My mind was a puddle of thoughts that never evaporated. The usual, constant things on my mind: Haven, the Precens, District six. But a little more Haven this time, scratch that--a lot more Haven this time. I didn't want to get up when morning came, I didn't want to face the world while facing my inner problems. Eventually, I forced myself out of bed, got ready and slouched into the training room to see every other tribute talking and practicing already. I was about thirty minutes late.

I needed something that I could just do without thinking, no focus or weights, like running. My mood brightened when I saw Haven standing at the track station by herself and getting ready to run.

"Hey stranger," I greeted her while walking from behind her to her side.
