one of the greatest phenomena on this website is that there will be a post with 40k notes that's like, asking the reader to question something about themselves, how they engage with media, how they engage with fandom, their echo chambers, their biases etc. and then you'll see the notes filled with people indirectly calling out the people, the ships, the fandoms they accepted as the "outgroup" for engaging in this behavior while the entire purpose of the original post, introspection about the self, will go over their heads...

I KNOW anon plz come back and tell us more! It’s always a delight to hear about the Tuskegee women, what incredible ladies that deserve recognition. There was only around 500 Black nurses allowed in the Army during the war and even fewer of them served at Tuskegee Field! So this person’s connection to her is super special.

This book has hella issues and the show for sure does the plot way better so far, but boy is the imagery really fucking rich in the book. The moment in the carnivale when the ice starts hissing as it melts from the fire... that's so cool. There's some really clear images here. I also like crozier's second sight. Love it when a guy I'm already obsessed with turns out to have supernatural properties as well
