RE: Ludovica's girlfriend, I've been picturing her like my childhood dog. A solid coat might look nice against Ludovica's spots. My old girl had black fur with a strong brown undertone. She was a rescue (and the sweetest, calmest lady), but according to a DNA test (which I know aren't the most reliable) she was a Labrador Retriever / American Staffordshire Terrier / Chinese Shar Pei mix. She just passed recently. I guess that might be part of the reason I have this strong mental image. Hope you don't mind me sharing!

the letter from agatha that comes in the espreitador book! (rough) translation below:

This is the book that I told you about! It will be good for you to study, if you really want to become an order occultist. I don’t usually read scary things, but the guy that wrote this book investigated me, kidnapped me, and afterwards even died to a creature that came from my old body… so, I decided to give it a chance. Just out of respect. Listen, the stories in this book are technically fiction (as far as I know…), but they made people so scared of these monsters that it left the “membrane” (that thing I explained that separates our reality from the side) all fucked up. With this, the entities took on these forms generated by everyone’s collective fear and invaded our dimension, becoming real. This book has three creatures that Daniel “created” accidentally. At the time that he wrote these books he didn’t know that these creatures could in fact become real and cause the death of a lot of people. After he discovered this, he tried until the end to undo what he had done, but it was already too late… nobody told the guy to be so good at what he did. It’s fucked. The order has already dealt with these fucking creatures before, but there’s always a chance that they will appear again at another time, these books are too popular for us to take them out of circulation. I don’t know if you usually read a lot, but this is a good book to start with… Did you know that before I became an occultist I [scribble] spent a lot of time at the school library, reading a bunch of books? There, I accidentally ended up finder a bunker that… well, I’ll tell you that story another time. Have fun reading and try not to get too scared. Even if these creatures appear again, the order is here to beat the shit out of them. And you will be right there with us.

Thinkin' about the Four Swords manga instead of being productive again..

Does anyone else wonder what would have happened if Shadow succeeded in dunking Vio in the lava during the volcano execution scene? Like, along with him, two of the Four Swords would have also been lost

Would Red also be affected by his sword getting destroyed, or would nothing happen beyond the general ramifications of Vio dying? I feel like it's not touched upon very often how Red's sword was also at risk here lmao

I'm not sure why, but I was always under the impression that the swords were the most important factor here. The colors themselves are important, yea, but the sword is what spawned them into being. So as long as that's okay, they would be too, right? I'm not sure where I got that notion from or if it even makes sense, but I've been wondering about it for a while now

Honestly, the fact Shadow never thought to just toss Red's sword in the lava once he acquired it is kinda surprising

No matter what, that would have made their end goal impossible, even if it didn't result in any of the colors dying
