As promised in my last post here are the cats (currently convinced it's dinner time. It is in fact, as of writing this 4:25 PM Eastern time, and not time for them to eat at all. They eat no earlier than 5:00pm and generally eat between 6:00-7:00, sometimes as late as 8:00, as that's usually when my sibling and I have historically gotten home from work. I say all this to explain the absurd "at attention" expressions in the photos I took today

Smokey Quartz (usually just Smokey unless he's in trouble). My baby boy, the first pet I ever got as an adult, my handsome man. Also a rancid, spoiled rotten, terrible, horrible, no good, very bad trash man. 100% one of those stupid criminals, might have been a Florida Man in a past life. Rating: 10/10, horrible little beastie who's also my sweet son.

Ada (she has many middle names but they require too much explaining). Queen of the Universe, at least she assumes. Belongs to my sibling, though I'm sure she thinks it's the other way around. One of those "we got you as an emotional support animal, not as an animal who needs emotional support!" type adoptions. Overgrooms due to anxiety/stress and has in fact, been diagnosed with the cat version of OCD. The reason we can't buy clay litter and have to buy more expensive, potentially digestible litters (currently corn cob) as she developed pica during a rough patch of a flea infestation at our old place that turned into a compulsive desire to eat clay litter (her iron will be fine and she will still sprint for clay litter like it's a tasty treat, we did in fact, briefly use cheap clay litter when we first got Poe and we had to isolate her during her heat before we got her spayed bc she was peeing on everything, and post surgery since Smokey can be mildly aggressive sometimes). Self proclaimed cheese slut, doesn't know how to shut up. Rating: 10/10, she's Just a Girl

Miss Edgar Allen Poe, usually Poe for short (also responds to Miss/Baby Poe, Baby Girl, Baby, Poe-Poe, Ed, and Edgar). Lucky Friday the 13th cat distribution system find, who is just the best behaved baby. She has never done anything wrong in her entire 14 months ish of life. Sweet angel child, despite her adoptive older siblings being terrible influences. Rating: 10/10 perfect angel
