Now I have watched Season Two I can confirm that how Isha fits into Zaun Family will be one of two options (switching depending on what I think fits better in the thing I'm writing/rambling about at the time):

She is the final Vanco pregnancy and is born maybe a year or so after the Season One Act One incident. Jinx nominates herself the Best Big Sister Ever and Vander and Silco who are so busy decide that, actually, that's fine, if Jinx wants to look after her most of the time she can. Silco does tell Sevika to make sure his youngest two daughters don't accidentally get themselves killed.

Jinx finds Isha and brings her home one day and the rest of the family have to basically pry out of her that she didn't kidnap someone's child but this is an orphan who is now hers. But once that's established then sure Jinx now has a kid.

Could you write/draw a comic where Doom Patrol Charles meets Reverse Verse Charles? I think that could be interesting because those are the two versions of Charles who admit they're in love with Edwin, but also those two are on opposite ends of the emotional stability scale. That's probably not a good word for it-- what I mean is that DP-Charles seems comfortable with himself while RV-Charles thinks he's an absolutely terrible person, and RV-Charles is kind of manipulative at times while DP-Charles seems to be aware of others' feelings and gives them space.

Also, I think RV-Edwin and DP-Edwin might enjoy sassing each other too much.

I know that Rin thinks the exwires hate him after his secret is revealed, but how do they actually feel? Obviously they have to care somewhat if they didn’t tell anyone about him (other than Yukio telling Shiro…who’s the paladin…which has to count for snitching)(luckily Shiro already knows about Rins existence and won’t do anything about it).

I feel like they would have very mixed feelings, because they really don't have a clear picture as to what's going on with Rin. Is he being possessed? Does he know about it (his disappearance would suggest that he would)? Did he let the demon into his body, and if so, why? Or is he himself the demon? Has he been lying to them this whole time? But surely Mephisto would have known that, right?

and then there's the fact that Rinka's motivations are just a giant question mark. He clearly has some kind of connection to Satan, but it's growing increasingly obviously that this isn't a possession situation and that he's his own independent demon- which raises the question of who and what he is, and where he came from. He's definitely tangled with the Order more than once, but he also came to their aid in Kyoto with no strings attached.

because of all that, at the end of the day they just... decide to wait and see, for the most part. they want answers, but with Rin gone, they're not going to get them. Ryuuji and Konekomaru both decide that they're going to believe in Rin- while Shima gets instructions from Mephisto to keep his mouth shut (and it's more fun if this situation is left ambiguous).

...which leaves Izumo. who just takes it as another betrayal- but what obligation does she have to tell the order? none. so she just keeps her mouth shut. it wasn't like she was even close to rin in the first place, so what does it matter if he's secretly satan's kin or whatever?

On the second night of Rob's London gigs on the Britpop Tour, he brought out grime artists Lethal Bizzle, Wiley, and Scorcher as special guests. One week before the show, Lethal Bizzle put out an open verse challenge to their recent single Can't Touch This and Rob responded. The reaction online from fans was overwhelmingly impressed.

So somewhere in the excitement of the collaboration, Rob invited them to perform the song with him at his show, including Rob's verse. Which is all context to say that the audio is from Rob's original video he recorded on his phone in bed. I've put in some work to improve the quality. Enjoy!

but i've been thinking about it in the context of faulkner's crisis of faith, too. because like. faulkner Knows that roemont is faithful. he considers roemont a heretic for trying to legalize the worship of the trawler-man, but it's like....

i feel like. killing roemont was a test of the trawler-man that faulkner devised on purpose. because if roemont dies due to the prayer marks that faulkner scrawled, then there are two possibilities:

1. the trawler-man really IS furious that the high katabasians want to legitimize the faith; the trawler-man really IS on faulkner's side; this schism really IS necessary to keep the faith "pure," and faulkner has never done anything wrong;

OR

2. the trawler-man really IS nothing but a mouth. this isn't a god with a plan or with sentience or with feelings, this is just a living river that chews things up and spits them out, and it doesn't care for its followers at all. and if that's the case, then faulkner is betraying nothing by being a faithless cult leader lying repeatedly to his people.

Hello! I am, thank you! It's been a little busier than I expected, but it's been a good one :-) And yes! I'm hesitant to say that I'll post this weekend, given I know I've been saying that for literally months at this point, but I am optimistic about this one? I've been locking scenes off since last weekend, and I've now locked off 10 of 13, so it's feeling super close, even though one of these last scenes is a bit of a hefty one (it's not the longest though! Scene 9 which I locked off today is by far the longest and literally like. 40 pages, haha - it's kind of five scenes in one, but I like that it's continuous, and hopefully you guys do too!).

But yes! I have a relatively chill weekend now that today's done. I've got a couple of little things on, but I am blissfully deadline free, so I'm hoping I can really knock it out. Full disclaimer, it is now over 60k words as a chapter alone, so hilariously the whole fic is going to be longer than a lot of novels, but! Hopefully it's a good read. I've wriggled out of the phase where I hate everything about it and quite like it again, so hopefully you guys get to just experience it as something fun and angsty and sexy, haha.
