Tras lanzar al mercado el POCOPHONE F1 en 2018 y no dar señales de vida en 2019, POCO comenzó el año anunciando que pasaba a ser una marca independiente de Xiaomi. Además, prometió que estaba preparando un nuevo terminal para suceder al POCO F1 y que sería presentado antes de abril. Por si fuera poco, registró la marca POCO F2 en China.

Se desconoce si finalmente habrá un POCO F2 o no, pero lo que sí sabemos es que POCO ha comenzado su andadura como marca independiente presentando oficialmente en India el nuevo POCO X2, que, por apenas 200 euros al cambio, incluye cámara cuádruple, Snapdragon 730G, carga rápida de 27W y pantalla de 120 Hz. Si esas especificaciones te suenan es que, tal y como apuntaban varios rumores, estamos ante un Redmi K30 4G renombrado. Veamos sus diferencias con el POCO F1 original.

Si nos fijamos en las diferencias con el anterior modelo de POCO, el POCO F1, lo primero que salta a la vista es el procesador, que pertenece a diferentes gamas de Qualcomm. Mientras que el POCO F1 montaba el Snapdragon 845 de la serie 8, el nuevo POCO X2 -igual que la variante 4G del Redmi K30- apuesta por el Snapdragon 730G, el chip gaming de la serie 7.

Tanto las opciones de RAM (6 y 8 GB) como las de almacenamiento (64, 128 y 256 GB) son idénticas en los dos modelos, pero sí que existe un salto en la batería, que pasa de los 4.000 mAh del primer modelo a los 4.500 mAh del nuevo X2 manteniendo la carga rápida (ahora, de 27 W). Con el paso del tiempo, evoluciona el sistema operativo: el POCO X2 sale con Android 10, mientras que el POCO F1 se lanzó con Android 8 Oreo y actualmente tiene Android 9 Pie. Eso sí, mantiene la capa de personalización MIUI con el POCO Launcher como elemento característico.

Otra diferencia importante la tenemos en la pantalla. POCO vuelve a apostar por un panel LCD y por la resolución FullHD+, pero la diagonal del panel aumenta desde las 6,18 pulgadas del POCO F1 a las 6,67 pulgadas del POCO X2. Además, el nuevo teléfono presume de una tasa de refresco de 120 hercios y prescinde del notch alargado del modelo anterior para optar por un agujero en la esquina superior derecha.

Más cámaras por delante y por detrás

Dejando al margen la involución en el procesador y la evolución en la pantalla, la mejora más importante que presenta el POCO X2 respecto al POCO F1 la encontramos en el apartado fotográfico. The Realme 5i is priced at Rs. 8,999 for the sole 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, and comes in Aqua Blue and Forest Green colour options. As for the Redmi Note 8 Pro, it is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant, while the 6GB + 128GB model will set buyers back by Rs. 12,999. On the other hand, Samsung’s Galaxy M20 carries a price tag of 10,990 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model, while the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 12,990. However, I don't think it's gonna be quite as quick as the Xiaomi mix 3 or the Xiaomi Mi 8. But I might be pleasantly surprised. you can feel what it's a fraction slower than those two phones. like that again for the price point is incredibly impressive. You can also do full-screen gestures if you so choose at the Xiaomi gestures. I really do like they're up there for me with the iPhone and the OnePlus gestures. which I think are slightly better than the native Android Pie gestures. Now the actual display is a 6.3 inch full HD Plus IPS LCD display. The screen resolution is 2340 by 1080 Pixel with a Pixel identity of 409. Redmi Note 7 have Gorilla Glass protection. Similarly, Bluetooth 5.0 and the headphone jack is still Available. Cameras of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 So in terms of that camera. It has Dual Camera 48MP+5MP setup at the rear. As you open its AI camera, the AI camera detects scenes automatically and optimizes your photos based on this info. now, this isn't new there are tons of phones that have been doing this over the last year. personally, I am not a massive fan of this AI features. However, I think we can turn it off. It has other features like slow motion video, portrait, HDR+, square panorama, and pro as well. So, if we just scroll back to portrait we'll have a little to go with that as well. you know what again from first impressions the camera looks pretty good. But, it seems to have slight issues with exposure but nothing too significant. it also seems to have a slight pulsing of focus. However, I want to make sure that I'm not having to work too hard to get some nice shots. Similarly, for me is one of the areas that separates the good cameras from the great cameras. The ability to take fantastic shots in a snapshot in an instant. This is a very solid good camera, not a great camera. It also has led flash on a rear camera. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Selfie Shooter As we're discussing on cameras. let's see a selfie camera. 13 MP front selfie shooter In straight away, I've noticed the classic Xiaomi beautify. Both these phones are powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC. While the Nokia 6.1 Plus only offers a 4GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage configuration, the newly-launched Nokia 7.1 allows the user to choose from a 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage and a 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. Both smartphones support external storage via microSD cards (up to 400GB).

Much like other design elements, the Nokia 7.1 and Nokia 6.1 Plus sport a similar-looking vertical dual rear camera setup, albeit with different sensors. The Nokia 7.1 gets a 12-megapixel primary sensor, with autofocus and f/1.8 aperture, and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, with fixed focus and f/2.4 aperture - the rear camera setup features Zeiss optics, EIS, as well as two-phase detection. On the other hand, the Nokia 6.1 Plus features a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, both with f/2.0 aperture and 1-micron pixel size. Additionally, the Nokia 7.1 comes with support for NFC, while the Nokia 6.1 Plus does not. In terms of dimensions and weight, the Nokia 7.1 measures 149.7x71.19x7.99mm and weighs 159 grams. You can also do full-screen gestures if you so choose at the Xiaomi gestures. I really do like they're up there for me with the iPhone and the OnePlus gestures. which I think are slightly better than the native Android Pie gestures. Now the actual display is a 6.3 inch full HD Plus IPS LCD display. The screen resolution is 2340 by 1080 Pixel with a Pixel identity of 409. Redmi Note 7 have Gorilla Glass protection. As you open its AI camera, the AI camera detects scenes automatically and optimizes your photos based on this info. now, this isn't new there are tons of phones that have been doing this over the last year. personally, I am not a massive fan of this AI features. However, I think we can turn it off. It has other features like slow motion video, portrait, HDR+, square panorama, and pro as well. So, if we just scroll back to portrait we'll have a little to go with that as well. you know what again from first impressions the camera looks pretty good. But, it seems to have slight issues with exposure but nothing too significant. it also seems to have a slight pulsing of focus. However, I want to make sure that I'm not having to work too hard to get some nice shots. Similarly, for me is one of the areas that separates the good cameras from the great cameras. The ability to take fantastic shots in a snapshot in an instant. This is a very solid good camera, not a great camera. It also has led flash on a rear camera.
