Wuh Oh - New OC AU Time

Its been a while since I put Jose into a Situation™️- Let's remedy that, shall we? :)c

Android model J4-K was created with the sole purpose of infiltrating, locating, and destroying the home servers of an AI called KRONOS that some programmers are concerned could bring about societal collapse. But when J4-K ("Jose") is activated and released into the world to complete this mission, he learns that not only is it dangerous, it's essentially a suicide mission, and this newly sentient robot would like to live, thank you. But how long he can survive on his own is anyone's guess, and on top of that, he's aware that if he does not succeed, they will just make a new android to take his place. He's gonna need to make friends, figure out how he feels (If he does at all), and most importantly; figure out where his morals and ethics fall in this thorny situation. In the futuristic, cyberpunk-adjacent world he lives in, most choices are "Bad or Worse"... Too bad its so hard to figure out which is which.

This is such a fun AU guys I love it already. We'll see if I can get myself to draw more of it between mermay stuff lmaooooo

Donald Duck, José Carioca (Zé Carioca) and Panchito Pistoles as superheroes as Duck Avenger (Paperinik), Green Bat and El-Gallo-Loco - Donald Duck Week - The Three Caballeros Month

Although I'm already late, unfortunately I had problems with the internet last week and I didn't manage to finish my drawing that I intended. By the way, it started at the beginning of last week and only recently finished. It's definitely time for one of my favorite topics, superheroes. Three Caballeros in action!

Donald Duck is certainly a superhero as Duck Avenger (Paperinik) who appeared in 1969, and his second version in 1996 in PKNA (Paperinik New Adventures) and is mostly represented in Italian comics. However, his partners are also superheroes in their own ways. Jose Ze Carioca has his second alter ego called Green Bat, which is inspired by Batman, otherwise he took inspiration from none other than Morcego Vermelho, translated as Red Bat, which is the superhero alter ego for Fethry Duck, Donald's cousin. Ze Carioca became Morcego Verde, translated as Green Bat. By the way, he first appeared in a comic in 1975 (Zé Carioca magazine #1217) and was mostly represented in Brazilian comics and was often a partner of Red Bat and belongs to the superhero club. He is often clumsy, but he is eager for his adventures and fighting crime. And of course Panchito as a professional wrestler or better as a superhero under the name "El Gallo Loco", otherwise a name obtained from a Mexican food (I'm not kidding). He appeared in the series The Legend of The Three Caballeros in the episodes "Pyramid-Life Crisis" and "Mexico à Go-Go" where he appeared as a professional wrestler, but can certainly be taken as his superhero alter ego.

Therefore, all three are superheroes and go into action in the fight against crime and crime, and there is certainly Uno Ducklair (computer android created by Everett Ducklair and mentor of Duck Avenger). I drew in my own style. And let's be clear, I didn't copy from @fantasticenthusiasttale (sorry), because I drew this even before that and we have completely different ideas, although it resembles quite a lot. I certainly drew in my own ways. I hope you like this drawing and this idea.

And happy Mexico Day which is celebrated on September 16th and happy Donald's 90th birthday by the way it was Friday the 13th last Friday so that's what I'm saying. DT: Our Timeless Story Pride Part Two!!!

Yeah may as well go all in on this Pride Month, we only have a few days left until it ends so here's some other characters and their colors! I had also recently learned of a scrapped character for a Three Caballeros film and decided to include him into my little cast of growing characters.

Some more close friends of the triplets are celebrating pride month and they welcome you to join them!

Violet registers herself as Aroace, possessing little to no interest in both sexual and romantic fields. She is well aware of her sister, Lena's and her best friend, Webby's feelings for one another and she is more than happy to help coax them along, though she's more awkward about this topic and tends to go in a more scientific manner.

Boyd is both pansexual and asexual much like Huey, being an android pretty much guarantees a lack of sexual desire. Anyways, Boyd here isn't aware of Huey's crush on him, but he does find himself having confusing thoughts about his best friend, leading to his cousin Newton to surmise they are crushing on one another.

Gosalyn is bisexual and had known that for a long while, she even Dewey for a time but the two of them parted on equal terms after they believed they should just remain as friends. Oh yeah, she also pretty much has two dads in Launchpad and Drake, both of them having recently gotten together as boyfriends as of last year! Huzzah!

Miguelito Maracas or just Miguel for short is pansexual, he's also a cuban rooster who had been adopted into Panchito's family after they found him lifting wallets off the street. Miguel is a sweet and hardworking fella who knows his way around on the ranch and has too much love to give much like his step-uncle Panchito! He's also quite supportive of trying to hook his uncle up with Donald and Jose, a fact he shares with several of his friends such as the twins and triplets.

Zeca (the blue one) is gay, a fact he's extremely proud of, with his uncle Jose and brother Zico supporting him greatly. Due to being the sportier twin Zeca is often the target of affection for some of the girls at school but he just finds it awkward that they just don't seem to realize he's not interested. Thank god his brother has more game and can woo anyone away in a moment's notice.

Zico (the purple one) is bisexual and is just as open about it like how his twin is open about being gay, but he celebrates his sexuality by openly flirting with both boys and girls at school. Having inherited the suave charm of his uncle Jose, Zico is a master of sweet words, having gotten himself a numerous amounts of dates that leaves some of his friends both shocked and a bit jealous. Zico doesn't need to try, but when he meets people who aren't affected by his charms he finds himself becoming more attracted to them than any other.

Threads, Meta's new social media app, has signed up 100 million new users less than a week since its launch last Wednesday, making it the fastest-growing app in history.

Like other social media apps, users probably barely scanned − or skipped − the terms and conditions for what information Threads can collect, share and sell about them.

Meta probably already had a lot of information about users because Threads is built upon its Instagram platform.

So how much does Threads already know about you, and what can it do with that data? Here are a few reasons to be concerned about your privacy.

What information does Threads collect?

Social media platforms monetize user data by selling relevant ads based on your location and activity, but, along with the usual app privacy requests like browsing history and location data, Threads also asks for financial information, health and fitness data, diagnostics and a nefarious-sounding "sensitive info."

Many users have voiced concern over Threads for its 14-point list of data permissions you're granting Meta to use the app. Twitter, by comparison, has 10 of these.

"I would say it's at the outer boundaries of what's usually expected, which is to be expected from its connection to Facebook, a brand long known for being especially hungry to take in user data and commercialize it in different ways," says Dan Ackerman, the new editor-in-chief at Gizmodo, a leading technology, science and culture news publication.

Android users can toggle off some of the data requests from the app, while the Apple App Store is "more take-it-or-leave it," Ackerman said.

"It also doesn't help that there's no browser-based fully functional version of Threads right now, and so you have to use the app version," he said.

Meta declined my request for comment and clarification.

Is Threads data collection worse than Twitter?

It's not necessarily malicious, suggests Tim Bajarin, a veteran technology analyst and Chairman of the San Jose, California-based market research firm Creative Strategies. "Users should know this Threads data list is pulled directly from Instagram, and it's all tied to their advertising engine when they start to monetize Threads.  

"When you sign off on financial info, for example, they're not looking at your bank statements or anything," Bajarin said.

Rather, Threads collects what you're posting about and liking, where you are, and whether you bought something through a third-party site, app or game you logged into using your connected Facebook/Instagram ID (usually to avoid creating a new password altogether).

Bajarin said users are granting Meta access for future advertising.

"Meta isn't giving you a free app out of the goodness of their heart − they're there to make money, which is mostly from advertising."

Threads can collect and save this information, and the data can also be shared with third-party services that connect to your Threads profile.

Can you deactivate Threads?

Yes, but you cannot delete it without also deleting Instagram, Bajarin said.

"Meta built (Threads) on the Instagram infrastructure, on top of the program itself, and so it would be very difficult to uninstall one and not both – at least the way it's engineered today. ... They could eventually be spun out to be completely separate apps," Bajarin said.

To deactivate (but not delete) your Threads account, Adam Mosseri − the Instagram boss who now spearheads the Threads app – says you can choose to hide your Threads profile and content, delete individual Threads posts and set your profile to private, as reported by USA TODAY contributor Jennifer Jolly.

"Threads is powered by Instagram, so right now it's just one account, but we're looking into a way to delete your Threads account separately,” he posted.

Ackerman said the fact Threads is built on Instagram is actually a boon for Meta and users, "as it's especially easy to sign up for, has no wait list, and is simple to use." But "in order to delete your Threads account after you sign up, you’ll need to delete your Instagram account, as well, which reminds me of the difficulty people had deleting their Facebook accounts in the past, and how there was a lot of fine print about what data Facebook would keep unless you jumped through extra hoops."

Is the Threads app safe?

Threads is asking for more permissions than Twitter, so it boils down to your comfort level.

Though some of the privacy permissions seem ludicrous – granting Threads access to health and activity data and other "sensitive info" on a smartphone just seems wrong – no one is forcing users to install and use Threads or any other social media app that monetizes its free platform by delivering personalized, contextual ads to you.

Threads is available in more than 100 countries, but perhaps it's no surprise it isn't available in the Europe Union just yet: Meta was forced to pay more than $400 million by EU regulators for forcing users to accept targeted ads.

Personally, I am using and enjoying Threads quite a bit but wish there was more clarity about how my data is collected and used. And I'm disappointed Meta declined to clarify things.

I select "Ask not to track" on all iPhone apps to reduce an app's visibility into my web browsing activity, and I have a virtual private network (VPN) on my computer for extra privacy, but perhaps it's true there is nothing truly free in this world – it's just up to each person to decide whether the cost is worth it.

First impression: "ok so this Primo guy is associated with two other guys and one of them is like??? really short??? ok. wait what the fuck do you mean theyre all the same guy hello--"

Impression now: LITTLE FUCKER OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! god i love lester so much I love when a yugioh character is just some tiny bastard he's a PERMANENT 12 YEAR OLD he wears ROLLER SKATES FULL TIME he SKATEBOARDS he's RUDE AND MEAN TO EVERYONE his little cackle in his sub voice is DELIGHTFUL. top favorites forever. He is also agonizingly sad and if I think too hard about him I feel unwell.

Favorite moment: Thinking about when Primo loses in the WRGP and Lester starts shrieking at him about how he fucked up the plan and Primo just tells him to stop complaining/stop being petulant and Lester starts LITERALLY SHAKING WITH ABSOLUTE RAGE. THEY WERE HAVING A SHOVING MATCH IMMEDIATELY OFF SCREEN I JUST KNOW IT.

Idea for a story: something about Lester when he was first brought online. What that could have felt like. What would have happened if the implied Mental Blocks That Seal Off the Emperor's Memories weren't active when he first got turned on. Many potential for let's Be Kind of Emo About Lester moments.

Favorite relationship: Lester and Primo's dynamic is genuinely one of my favorite platonic yugioh character relationships, I need to talk more on it sometime. They really brotherpilled those two androids as hard as they possibly could and it makes me explode. Primo stole his card so Lester really just rips his whole deck out of his beat to shit torso. Unhinged Middle Schooler vs. Unhinged 19 Year Old.

Favorite headcanon: bird autism, can do So Many Skateboard Tricks, would pick up bugs and garbage and other shit off the ground and throw them at Primo. Very protective of his hair and knows a bunch of braids and styles. Is absolutely Fucking Terrified of Jakob but will not admit this. Bites. Hard.

First impression: during his DL event back in 2021 I really was just like "idrk what's going on here with this like. weird 5Ds villain overlord guy. He's got a robot army I guess??? ok. is he like... 30? what is this shit about bees what the hell."

Impression now: that is my BOY my SON my FAILBOT9000 he is PERMANENTLY UNDER 20 he is a gijinka of just how much it sucks to be 19 and angry at everything and I LOVE HIM SO. SO MUCH. Favorite moment: they really gave this poor bastard one of the most 'gruesome' ygo duel loss moments huh. Like he's a robot so it's fine to show it but he did still get RIPPED IN HALF. AND HIS STUPID SWORD SKIDDED ACROSS THE PAVEMENT SOUNDING LIKE A SILVERWARE DRAWER. it makes me bananas. I also rly love the bit when he's working on his secret Ghost Army and Jakob videocalls to yell at him and Primo just looks away like a dog that got caught eating out of the trash.

Idea for a story: oooouughhhh none of yall are ready for the AU simmering in the back of my brain where Leo tries to save a chunk of Aporia's inner robotic hardware to try and bring him back to life, but it's corrupted and incomplete and only brings back Primo. So now you have this miserable postcanon Primo with no deck no sword no NOTHING being shown kindness from Yusei & co and having to live with all of Aporia's memories and knowledge of What He Did. it's so special to me. i need to brew some more on it.

Unpopular opinion: every day. i see this weird idea that Primo is like.... uwu so suave and dainty and delicate??? and it's like....HUH???? this 6 foot tall WEIRD GUY is PART MOTORCYCLE and MEAN AS HELL and UNPLEASANT TO BE AROUND and FUMBLES EVERY SINGLE ONE OF HIS PLANS. let him suck ass!! he's at his best when he sucks!! ALSO THE LIKE. FANDOM IDEA THAT HE LOVES BEES??!? literally every time he talks about insects it's in a derogatory manner for the love of god i am begging for media literacy. im on my hands and knees here.

Favorite relationship: I do love his stupid one-sided rivalry with Yusei it's so fucking funny. But also, again, he and Lester....god. Love them so fucking much. If Primo hated Lester as much as he acts and claims he would not have gone along with his little rich kid's butler bit I just know it (without complaining either!!). You can argue he just tolerates Lester's company but I genuinely think he does like it. even if it's just a little. Based and Big Brother'd. Wahhhh

Favorite headcanon: god where do I start. Autism Beast. Constantly on the verge of an being overstimulated meltdown. Zero volume control. If someone had introduced him to wolves that would have been it, he would have been a complete wolfaboo. Avid watcher of Cool Sword Videos. Built like a pit bull.

El mundo de las distribuciones Linux tuvo sus primeros contactos en móviles con Ubuntu Touch, una distribución desarrollada por la misma Canonical que como otros sistemas operativos de la época, fracasó estrepitosamente. Sin embargo, el proyecto no murió porque como sucede con otros software open source, la comunidad lo salvó. Y de ahí nació UBports.

La comunidad lo ha mimado durante todos estos años, y justo ahora se actualiza con grandes novedades que le permitirán dar un paso más. Esta nueva versión de Ubuntu Touch se basa en Ubuntu 20.04 y recibe el nombre de OTA-1 Focal.

Ubuntu Touch se basaba en su homónimo para ordenadores Ubuntu 16.04, la versión LTS que ha sostenido este sistema operativo móvil hasta el día de hoy. Ahora, aprovecharán los cambios de Ubuntu 20.04 para potenciar esta OTA-1 Focal.

Además de este cambio de base, la interfaz existente hasta el momento tenía el nombre de Unity 8, pero ahora pasa a llamarse Lomiri. En concreto, Lomiri es más personalizada, por lo que reduce su dependencia a los componentes de Ubuntu. Esta interfaz de usuario es libre, así que no será exclusiva de este sistema, sino que otros podrán adoptarla.

Hello guys. Today was a good day. So I did eat my oatmeal this morning but I almost got to school late. I like my math teacher because even you do get late she doesn’t take attendance until halfway through class so I can be 10 20 minutes late. Today we had a test tho which is probably why she did take attendance when class started. For the test it was really easy I got all but one question right. Like 98.6% on it. During brunch it was actually really cold. My sweaters are dirty though so I didn’t bring it. Dude I was actually shaking outside. The wind was super cold people told me I was shivering. Anyway I sold my iPhone 6 to Joniel. Yesterday he said his mom was going to get mad at him because it was report card night and he has 2 F’s so he was going to get his phone taken away. He said he would buy a new one and I told him I had one and I’d sell it to him for 10 dollars. Listen I really regret even offering that. I think 30 is a good price 30-40. 50 idk it’s not in good condition at all. The screen is so cracked you can see the inside of the phone. But it’s an iPhone 6. An old android is worth 10$ not my iPhone 6. But anyway that day he later asked me again what price. And I tried upping it to 20 and he said “I thought you said ten”. Dude if you knew the price why are you even asking 😭. Anyway we settled for 15 and I sold it to him this brunch. 3rd period was cool I sat with Joniel and Manuel and it was funny. I finished my 3 paragraph packet too. For lunch I chill in Kalashians with dream. 5th period I didn’t do good on the test I got like 63%. Terrible. Obviously could’ve been a lot worse but 60 isn’t good. At least a 70 would be cool but whatever. Daisy shared some m&ms with me. Highlight of my day that was very nice of her. 7th period Mr Kears had us do these drills for bomb sirens. That was pretty fun. We get to write a story about orosi getting attacked by nazi germany and were air pilots fighting back. Very cool and creative assignment. When I left Jose let me hit his pen again and it was very potent just like last time. Idk why but I appreciate my parents more when I’m high. Usually I come home from school dont talk to my parents just answer the stuff they ask me and eat my food than be in my room the rest of my day. But lately since I’ve been smoking when I get out of school I get in the car in a good mood. I talk to my mom and dad ask them how their days have been. Even this morning i was sober because I don’t have any pen of my own and I was asking my dad about this jeep we saw at the stop light. Smoking is okay if you do it moderately and it helps you. Anyway today I got home and my dad made really good shrimp with white rice and I got some avocado and sliced it. It was so good you have no idea. I got a tortilla chip, rice, avocado slice and shrimp on top. I can taste it rn. I ate 3 plates and I normally cant eat that much. Just like last time im taking a shit as im writing this cause I ate so much. Enjoy the rest your day later
