I agree, and Bumblebee also did it to distract him from noticing Jet, Slip, and Fixit trying to escape, Bee knows what Starscream is capable of, he doesn't want his minicon friends to be possibly killed like Cliff. What was he supposed to do? Yell "Starscream look a predacon!" like Toy Story?

I know I just got done with ranting about tfp/rid2015 starscream’s character but, if you couldn’t tell by my other rid2015 posts, I’m obsessed with rid2015 bumblebee and when I tell you I love this scene of bumblebee making fun of starscream I’m not exaggerating it’s so cathartic to me

“But bumblebee is a good/hero character, why is he being so mean—” did you forget how much starscream hurt bumblebee in tfp?

He killed cliffjumper who, while probably not as close to bee as he was to arcee, was still close friends with bee

He stole the omega keys from the autobots’ base and handed them over to megatron, practically dooming Cybertron at the time to be remade in megatron’s image — of course the autobots get them back last minute, but that doesn’t change how much that loss effected all of them (evidence: optimus shouting in anger for the first and to my memory only time in the series) — including bumblebee

And his greatest offense towards bumblebee in my opinion—

DESTROYING BUMBLEBEE’S T-COG

It’s also incredibly fucked once you think about it more because the t-cog is literally a cybertronian organ — while silas is at least mostly detached from how screwed this is since it’s more like taking parts from a robot than surgery to humans, starscream shouldn’t be since he’s also a cybertronian

Instead of being freaked out and recognizing how messed up silas’ actions are like any rational bot would, he helps silas make his fake-bot-that’s-using-another-bot’s-stolen-organ work by providing him with energon (the [at the time] incredibly scarce resource that helps all bots survive) and — after that plan falls through because of bumblebee finding them — he destroys the bot’s organ for no reason other than he wanted to escape and thought that was a good way to distract him

I just—I’m sorry?? I feel like bumblebee is incredibly justified for clowning on this cringefailure of a bot for what he’s done to him

And this isn’t even mentioning what he’s done against the autobots as a whole (both on and off screen) that has probably hurt bumblebee by proxy

I feel like it’d be justified if bee also killed starscream — he already got to kill the bot that destroyed his voice box, I think bee deserves another murder as a treat <3

Ever since TFO I’ve fallen in love with Elita-One I love her sm and according to ME everyone else loves her too // also here are my thoughts about my weird TF continuity that I’m making up rn made up of combination of TFO and TFA

So the TFO movie events still happen except that B-127 is a sparkling. Orion becomes Optimus Prime and with the help of Elita-One and the newly formed Autobots, they rebuild Cybertronian society.

B-127, along with other sparklings such as Cliffjumper, are sent to the newly formed Autobot Academy. Initially it was to have them learn basic knowledge (like our real-world education system), but as the Decepticons, Quintessons, and other threats continue to threaten the Autobots it eventually becomes an Autobot Boot Camp to train soldiers, spies, scouts, etc.

After orbital cycles/years of not seeing OP or Elita-One, B-127 finally graduates from the academy as a scout and immediately tries to become OP’s personal scout. He’s still a yapper (which got him bullied) but now that he’s a teen (idk the TF equivalent to that) he’s gotten a bit more bratty and overconfident to make up for his short stature.

While B-127 was in the academy, OP has continued to lead the Autobots to form a more fair society for all. He continually runs into Megatron throughout the war, but still has hopes of one day changing his mind. OP feels the pressure of being the leader constantly and as such hopes to assign the rank of Prime (or something similar to it) to other bots, such as Ultra Magnus and Rodimus (who’s still training to become one).

Elita-One becomes the leader of the Elite Guard (named after her + a separate entity) that goes into battle side-by-side with OP. She’s seen as one of the greatest soldiers the Autobots have and everyone, especially academy students, wants to be part of the Elite Guard. Between helping OP, fighting battles, leading the Elite Guard, and training new recruits, she has a bit of a chip off her shoulder, but always means well.

Side Notes for Arcee and Hot Rod:

- Arcee and Hot Rod were teens when the events of TFO occurred, with Arcee being a cogless miner and Hot Rod being a cogged racer

- They have both graduated from the Autobot Boot Camp and are now soldiers

- Arcee is a new recruit for the Elite Guard and has a bit of a hero-crush on Elita-One; her bubbly personality and endless energy is seen as a welcome change for the Elite Guard and she gets along with everyone

- Hot Rod was initially also going to the Elite Guard, but his prowess on the battlefield as well as his natural leadership skills caught OP’s attention and he’s now being personally tutored by Ultra Magnus

- Became friends with B-127 and adopted him as a sort of little brother, as they’re glad to not be the youngest anymore and to show off to someone who’s easily impressed

Survival AU Lore:

The primes fought the Quintessons and they're all died, it turned out that the sentinels were also died (or maybe missing). So there was a leadership vacuum. In the end, many fought for the throne, Cybertron became even more destroyed.

Due to Sentinel's absence, all cybertronian's T-cogs was not taken out. However, they had to survive like a zombie game, but with the Quintessons. Well, to survive they have to group together, think of it as Autobots and Decepticons but they're not really enemies.

Then what about D and Orion? They haven't met yet. Orion used to be the Autobots leader, but under his leadership there were a lot of losses, until Jazz was in a coma. Orion was so guilty, he finally "ran away" and became a lone survivor. The current Autobots leader was Elita.

While Orion was surviving alone, he met Bee. Well, I wanted to make Bee a sparkling so there would be a father-son relationship 🥺. Bee is half-muted and likes to call Orion "Papapax".

Until finally in a critical situation, for example, Orion and Bee were almost caught by the quintesson, a Bounty Hunter that was also a Decepticon appeared and accidentally saved them. He met D16.

Autobot and Decepticon are an identity of their ideology. Autobot values ​​life while Decepticon, if there is someone weak/troublesome, it's better to burn them than to be a burden. So when Orion met D16, he was a bit nervous because this mech was a con that can kill whenever and wherever they want.

But Orion got the nerve to plead to D16 that he'll do anything D want to repay and help Bee to find a safe place.

D16 accepted it gruntly, with one condition; Orion would be a servant/subordinate while they're together searching for Bee's place.

For sg Starscream, the image of a butler was sought after, as this character is much more calm and collected. The slouch and heels have been removed, as the character is not trying to appear taller. The original, for all his character was a slippery type. The mirror version is doomed to move only on his feet, as he has lost his t-cog without the ability to regain it. As a result, this Starscream is far less mobile.

In general, he should be a gray-haired grandfather who mentors and helps Megatron as much as he can x)

Optimus has decided to make him an example for the others. So he organized a public execution with crucifixion and subsequent burning. But the autobots will gain almost nothing from his death. No information, no fear, no screams of pain, no pleas for mercy.

Alrightyyyy soft launching my tf one au !! (Long post ahead)

Ive been dying to share this for a while so im deciding to just get it out there even if things change in the future. im still working on it a lot !

Im starting with drift bc hes the most developed thus far, in fact this started because I had an idea about drift as a scavenger on the surface and ran with it. Here he is !!

I reaaaally wanna go on a long ramble about how I designed each of these because i love doing that, but im gonna save it for a seperate post. In the meantime, some things about drift’s three major designs/life stages

- Yup transmasc drift . Just cus ! It doesnt matter in any real way I just thought it was fun

- Drift is a cogless miner who’s sector is well known for its cruel and brutal supervisor. Its been nicknamed “the dead end”. Miners reassigned there know they wont get any higher.

- He’s pessimistic and prone to arguments. He knows something’s wrong. All of this is wrong. He hates his supervisor, his work, the cogged bots, their society, he doesnt think any of it is right, but he cant do anything about it

- He feels powerless

- The only hope is Gasket. Optimistic, friendly, endlessly kind, Gasket does his best to keep morale up. He makes the sector a community, keeps everyone together and close and looking out for each other

- Drift and him are very close, Drift cant understand his optimism but chases his light and the hope it gives him

- Take a guess what happens to Gasket

- <3

- Drift joins the cons at the end of the movie. He needs change and trusts Megatron’s actions more than a new prime

- As deadlock, he gains status, reputation, authority. Hes devoted to the cause and cant deny the rush of battle. He likes to feel deadly and in control.

- Hes on a power trip

- And is starting to remind himself of his previous supervisor.

- He becomes disillusioned. This isnt resistance, this is warmongering. megatron isnt as great of a leader as he thought. hes inexperienced, naive, fueled by hate and fury. He doesnt know what the end goal is, he just wants destruction. Ratchet was right.

- He becomes anxious, unsure, withdrawn. He intimidates and threatens others to keep their eyes off of him.

- He is. Deathly afraid of other bots perceiving him as weak.

- He doesnt know what to do anymore

- Brooding brooding brooding

- After defecting from the decepticons, Deadlock, after a long journey, makes his way back to Iacon and is accepted into the autobots.

- He has a lot of regrets, mainly he feels that he didnt appreciate Gasket or Wing enough before they died. Now he makes sure not to take anything for granted

- Hes devoted to those who gave him another chance

- Terrified that hes going to let them down

- optimistic, hes taking everything he’s been taught and moving forward

- Hes building his own future now

This is just an introduction ! Actual story stuff will be shared via comics and drawings and rambles :)

D-16 Megatron (TFO) x Cybertronian!Reader Pt. 2

WARNING: Spoilers from the movie (Transformers One 2024). Angst and more angst. Forbidden love scenario.

Days have been... good. To say at least.

Being guided by Optimus Prime, Elita One and Bumblebee's to fight against the Quintessons. Meanwhile, Iacon and Cybertrone was slowly picking up its true, beautiful colors and life seemed brighter for everyone after finally getting their T-cogs and feel complete.

... then, why do you feel.. empty?

It was stupid - you have now your T-cog, of course! And yet...

You try to not think about it too much - you decide to keep yourself focused on your tasks, helping others, and so on. But whenever the night arrives and you are alone in your berth...

"Primus, please... if you are out there - keep D-16 safe and sound. Please." You pray, holding your servos against your chestplate.

With the pass of the days you started to accept the fact that D-16 was no longer there, but it was Megatron who had now his face.

Things were getting better, but also tense at the same time, as from time to time, if they haven't done it on that day Megatron was vanished from Iacon, bots who started to think like him left Iacon by choice to look after the leader they wanted.

You remained on the Autobot's side - your spark longed for the mech you used to love, but you knew he was no longer the sweet, kind D-16 you used to know.

But - you wanted to see him. You needed to see him. Even if it was dangerous or that you might not live another day to tell - you needed to see him.

And little did you know how much Megatron silently suffered to himself as he couldn't forget you. And he, too, wished to see you again. His spark would cry too, wishing to see once again the same cybertronian that he fell in love years ago.

Alas - if something happens then it meant it was what Primus wanted to happen...

You were tasked to go out with a group of autobots to swap places with another group who stayed on the surface in other to keep track on any kind of Quintesson activity... or Decepticon, too.

"Arcee, in position" - "Prowl in position, too!" - "Me too - I mean, Blurr too!"

"(Y/N) in position as well." You add, followed by another one of your teammates through the audio connection. 1 solar cycle to be out there and keep an optic on everything until the next team arrives to swap places with yours. Thankfuly, for the past days, any type of Quintesson activity was nearly none - Primus bless Optimus, Elita and Bumblebee - but all of you wanted to be sure, just in case.

You were relatively far away from your team, moving between tall mountain alike structures, your right servo transformed in your (weapon of choice).

The sound of a heavey step made you quickly turn around, aiming your weapon with a serious expression - to quickly change into one of surprise.

Megatron stares at you and slowly start walking towards you. And you remain frozen in place, slowly lowering your weapon - until the sound of the audial connection being activated. Megatron freezes in place.

"Arcee to (Y/N) - I lost for a moment your location, everything okay?"

Megatron keeps his optics locked with yours, thinking you were going to give out his presence... You press the small audial device on your helm to answer. "(Y/N) to Arcee - affirmative. The structures are doing that glitch - but all fine."

After turning off the audial connection, Megatron runs to you as you open wide your arms, your weapon transforming back into your arm. And the big mech hugs you close, as you hug him back. In silence, you hold each other, his faceplate hidding against your helm as you do as well against his chestplate.

"... I missed you." You whisper, scolding at yourself for saying that - feeling weak. But how could you not say those words when you have been longing for him?

"I've missed you, too." Megatron confesses, moving to gently press his forehelm against yours, closing his red optics as you close your own. "I thought I was never going to see you again."

"... Why did you do it?" You ask, spark hurting.

Megatron looks at you with softened optics, knowing what were you talking about - killing Sentinel Prime in a brutal way when he was already defeated, wanting to destroy Iacon, making a promise to become the sole true leader that was going to guide everyone and whoever stood on his way was going to be offlined. "I did it for our people, for us - Optimus was not going to make Sentinel suffer the consequences he deserved after all the torture he made us go through, (Y/N)..."

You should be angry - Primus, you should be yelling at him and fighting for his violent ways, for not understanding what he was doing was the same thing Sentinel was doing. Alas, all you do is let your optics fill with energon and cry softly as Megatron holds you close.

"I wanted to know you more! I - I wanted to be your friend! Fall in love with you - become your Conjux!" You confess, crying that life you wished for the moment you two met. "I wanted to become yours and you become mine!"

The Decepticon leader tries to not to cry, forcing himself to remain strong. Megatron blamed himself because... how could he give you those things you were wishing between the two of you now that he was the enemy? And he knew he couldn't ask you to follow him, to join the Decepticons - even when he wanted to take you with him, he wasn't going to take away your freedom, not after having that being taken away by the false Prime since everyone's birth.

"I love you." Megatron suddenly confesses, holding your helm with his servos, your optics once again finding each others. "The moment I saw you in that busy day - I knew you were the one who I wanted to bond with, become his Conjux and have our sparks meet the other. I love you, (Y/N) - and... I'm so sorry for having ruin our future."

Your spark fluttered and felt warm, whole. Complete.

Holding his helm back, you kissed him. And he kissed you back.

And that same night you two became the Conjux Endura of the other. And while it hurt you to leave him, and for him to leave you to go back to your respective places - your spark still felt complete.

Whenever you are alone, you place a servo on your chestplate, where your spark rests, and feel. I love you.

And, in silence, you feel his I love you, back.

In silence, you await for the day you get to be back in Megatron's arms. And hope, and pray to Primus, for the war to end and be by his side, one way or another.

Transformers One headcanon that Sentinel specifically took T-cogs from bots who would potentially uprise if given the opportunity.

Looking at even a handful of the cogless bots, they’re all characters who become part of the Autobot or Decepticon chain of command. Jazz becomes TIC of the Autobots and one of the best saboteurs ever. Ironhide becomes the weapons specialist and one of Optimus Prime’s inner circle. Prowl becomes SIC and again, one of the bots Prime relies on throughout the war. Elita-1 becomes a commander and leads her own team of elite warriors - all of which we saw as energon miners.

The free thinkers, the dreamers, the loyal, the ambitious, the leaders…the bots who displayed the greatest potential were put in the sub levels so they could latch onto a lie. The lie of a better life, the Cybertronian dream, the ability to make their lives marginally better with the limited opportunities given to them. Sentinel focused their energy to the lie, working them to death in the name of chasing a false dream.

In that life, there’s no time to question things. We saw it with Megatron, one of the more skeptical bots out there. He didn’t question it. He trusted his leader. He worked hard. It got him nowhere.

Sentinel probably learned his mistake with letting Orion Pax wander around as freely as he does. Orion was a troublemaker. Orion defied everything in the name of the greater good. Sentinel could NOT have another Orion on his hands. So B-127 was isolated. B had a similar spark, someone who could create community and be content with community. Content enough to see past the bleakness of his situation to start asking questions. Sentinel couldn’t have more bots asking questions.

As for the Transformers around before the Primes died? Well, energon stopped flowing the minute the Matrix of Leadership returned to Primus. It’s not that far of a leap to tell the populace that Cybertron was sparking incomplete bots. Some of the newborns didn’t have T-cogs because the planet couldn’t produce T-cogs for everyone. Simple luck of the draw. And those bots had no reason to question Sentinel. Why would the Secretary of the Primes lie to them?

Sentinel tried to destroy a generation of leaders and almost succeeded. His fatal mistake was selfishness. He didn’t see the value of those creating communities until Orion Pax was well on his way through the sub level tiers. Sentinel is smart, so he didn’t make that mistake again. But it was too little, too late. Community, caring about others, working for the betterment of all of Cybertron…this was Sentinel’s downfall.
