HELLO HALO HELLO! I SAW THE UPDATE THINGY AND NOW I HAVE ARRIVED WITH A REQUEST! Whew!
Okay so here me Out! I've been thinking about neteyam alot but I have yet to request maybe some neteyam and Aonung together falling for reader
My request is based of a made up Tribe I Made,
/backround information/
the tribe is called the Tawsyuram (Aurora Mountain) tribe who live on a mountain high above a sea of clouds.

The original Tawsyuram clan had almost gone extinct due to a destructive Na'vi clan, but was saved and had grown anew due to the help of a large close knit group of humans from the slums on earth. Due to they're now Tsahik, Mai a human woman who was a doctor trained in surgery and herbal medicine was able to regrow and heal the spirit tree using an earth seed (when I do my full info thing on my tumblr you'll learn more, but that's later!)

Due to the healing of the spirit that houses Mother earth's (daughter 'Rrta) spirit herself a plant had blossomed allowing the humans to breath great mother Eywa's air the humans along side they're now Na'vi spirit family live in harmony over many years.
(They live within the mountain caverns)

/the request/
The Sully's were originally traveling to hide away from the RDA and Quaritch, were going to seek uturu from the Metakiyan, that was until they cam across this young avatar driver? Na'vi teen? Saying her clan would be able to hide them from the RDA gladly.
Neteyam who was intranced by this strange bubbly and wild girl who (as his father called it) talked like an excitable hippie, was absolutely gorgeous... and it would seem his soon to be mate Aonung would agree, also just a little question but, how the HELL IS SHE FLYING AN IKRAN WITHOUT TSAHEYLU!?!?
\Basically I would like to request the Sully's and Tonowari's family having to go into hiding and stuff meet this Ki (a character from Mars needs Moms) like teen girl who finds the Sully's mid travel and offers to shelter them within her tribe since they'll be much more accepted there. They arrived at the floating Mountain, though quite dizzy since they aren't used to being this high above, and are welcomed by the Tsahik who is a bit ditzzy though very calming and understanding, high difficult to anger see's there strife and welcomes them wholeheartedly all the while kinda jokingly yet a tad bit seriously scolding her daughter (the reader) about how she wasn't supposed to leave the Mountain until she was 18 to pass her Iknimaya (since those in the tribe bond with they're ikran's just before they hatch at a young age, giving them time to learn how to fly and practice the bonding dance when they are 18.) Along the way Neteyam and Aonung fall pretty hard for the happy go lucky tsakarem.
Basically the Sully's coming to learn a different side to humanity than they're used to./
\a bit more info to help with the story/
That Tawsyuram's healing hut is sheltered between three gigantic curly trees with book shelves holding many medical records, medicine information and tactics. With a huge curly tree in the middle with glass jars holding glowing bug fireflies to light of the room, tables and comfy sleeping mats and big pillows on the floor in the open spaces of the room for the patients.
Little ones at the age of 6 to 9 will go up to the Ikran nest that house the expecting ikran parents to be with either a food gift or a nesting gift, That is only given when the the egg wiggles in the direction towards its chosen, sensing its soon to be rider. After the gifts are given the children will carry the egg in a type of bundle strapped to they're chest making it easier to carry to a large crystal that gives off heat, watching as the ikran hatches from its egg on a soft nesting near the crystal. The baby will then nip its chosen on they're skin too show they have chosen they're future rider.
Once a year has passed, the child and its somewhat grown ikran who know are coming into they're colors will learn to fly together as a part of their training. The child with a sky diving wingsuit and the youngling ikran, with jump off a not so high ledge gliding of floating above a somewhat deep lake.
The Iknimaya is quite dangerous, so the Na'vi and humans alike agreed that it will only be carried out when the child has become 18 years of age. To do the Iknimaya they must fly on the back of they're ikrans back and then are left to climb up the flat faced mountain, which is even high than they're home's mountain. They meet their ikran onto of it and then jump sky dive off the mountain with a special wingsuit material made to look like they're ikran, which is made by the parents as a sign of sending them off into adult hood. They will then fly with they're and must land on their back and bond mid flight, strengthening the already growing bond they had when they were little.
The humans planters who run the fields found ways to plant human food, while the doctors and a few scientists found ways to detoxify the pandora meat so they may eat it. Their cook fire has a huge round island like table where the cooks cook the food inside the circle. The cook fire room if big to hold many of the tribe with two stories with pillows on the floor to sit on. Even sweets like cakes and such are on the menu!
The Na'vi and humans also wear clothing like the Omaticaya and Metakiyan but also wear winter clothing using wool from a pandora like sheep that are taller than humans but only come up to a Na'vi's waist.

The Tawsyuram clothing

All the images were made from using Bing AI prompts I made.
(I hope this is an okay request? And not like too much, if the whole neteyam and Aonung thing isn't cool, then I'm fine with you just doing Lo'ak. Thank you for taking the time to read this!
I hope you are having a wonderful morning/evening/afternoon/night! Hun!
Helloooooooooooo darling! Honestly you have such a big imagination and vast ideas here. It took me a good while for this story to be as good as you visioned it to be. Unfortunatly some stuff was cut out but I hope that what stayed is good for you and everyone to read! So sit back and relax! Enjoy!
--------------
Tawsyuram clan

It wasn't easy. Leaving all that you know for somewhere that beyond what you are literally built for. And to look for a clan that is willing to welcome a family that seeks refuge from a way is even harder. There is a lot to gamble on. Child born living only the life of war, and to live a life of peace is very desirable but would be getting used to.
So that is what Jake and Neytiri sully do. Leaving their home for the sake of their children. The question is, where? Where can they go? Who is willing to accept them? While Jake sully had an idea of heading to the islands of the reef na’vi where they are more isolated. He needs a plan B in case the reef clans reject them.
If only by Eywa’s miracle can a open chance appear before him.
“Why not join us?”
A human. With an ikran. A Human riding an Ikran was standing before the sully family. A Human, without a MASK. And very short too. Everyone was staring at the human in unbelievable shock. None uttered a word.
“Hello…..? Is something on my face?” The human asks her ikran who only grunts in response.
“Who are you?” Neytiri was quick to react, her blade ready to strike. The human raised her hands to show she meant no harm and didn't take another step. “Easy, I am not here to bring you harm. My name is Danu”.
“What do you want?” Jake asks/demands.
“It's not what I want, it's more like what you need,” Danu replied.
“And what would that be?” Kiri asks, feeling a slight irk prickling behind her head.
“Protection from the RDA. My clan can help you with that and more” Danu adds.
“What clan would have humans in it?” Neytiri hisses, not liking the young human by the second.
“The Tawsyuram clan” .
The travel towards wherever the girl was leading them to didn't take that long. Only about a day. The family would have gone longer if they still headed towards the reef islands. Instead of going north, the girl led them south. Where neytiri can remember, is just pure open mountains and large bodies of water. No clan inhabits those areas. At least clans neytiri is familiar with.
“We are here!” the girl shouts behind her. The family looks around, but all they see is thick clouds surrounding them. Cant see anything further than 15 feet of range vision. “Where is here?” *Jake asks. The girl didn't answer. The view did.
High above, in the middle of vast floating mountains stood one massive floating island. Large and vast. As they get closer, more details are easy to see. The island has its own mountains, its own clouds! Everyone was in awe.
“Welcome everyone! To Aurora mountain!”
Words cannot even begin to describe the beautiful mountain. Wild ikran flying freely, clouds forming above the mountain peak. Plants grow in so many shades and colors. It was vibrant. And it felt so familiar yet new to the sully family. And as they landed on the ground of the mountain, the gentle breeze welcomed them. Everyone got off of their ikrans and looked all over at the new location.
Danu happily jumped off of her ikran and skipped along. “Come on, there is so much to show you. My mother would love to meet you all” gesturing to follow her.
The family all stuck together, still wary of this place. Unsure of what to think of it. “Ma’jake, what if it's a trap?” Neytiri suspects, holding tuk close to her as the child wanted to follow Danu. Jake reassured her by holding her close, “our ikrans are ready to take flight again, we are armed and ready to fight. We should be fine” he replies.
Kiri and lo’ak on the other hand were admiring the new view and happily followed Danu as they entered the save. The entrance was hidden by massive leaves that can move by a single touch. Inside was a path full of colorful paintings and murals. So many details and no doubt so many stories it holds.
“Come on, don't slow down on me! Everyone is excited to meet you!” Danu’s voice echoed in the cave. Picking up speed, everyone followed Danu, where she stood in an open area, her smile big and bright and arms wide in a welcoming gesture. “Welcome to our home!” she announces proudly.
“Oh my Eywa….”
The inside literally looked like a whole new world. Ikrans flying high above the massive cave, hanging flowers from the cave sides or from smaller floating rocks. Waterfalls everywhere, little creatures flying or running about. And most of all, na’vi and humans were together. Many playing games, farming, chatting, anything they did together. What Jake noticed was that the humans were not wearing masks. And neytiri noticed that there was a mix of pure na’vi and what looks like hybrid na’vi’s like her children. It was a perfect utopia. Perhaps suspiciously too perfect.
As they continue deeper into the village, the locals all stop to look at them, curiosity evident in their eyes. Some children even follow them closely.
“This is so weird…” Lo’ak whispers, kiri was quick to shush him.
“Come, my mom will be super excited to meet all of you!” Danu says, learning them through the village, and through another patch of forest. “I know the village must have overwhelmed you but it was to give you the view of your possible life here. Of course if you choose to stay” Dany informs, moving some plants out of the way without the need to cut them.
“Who is your mother…?” Neytiri asks.
She wasn't given much of an answer as Danu climbed a set of stone stairs leading up to an uphill. The family quickly followed and coming in view was a tree. But not just any tree, a tree so different yet so familiar. With a hue of glowing teal color and Atokirina floating about, this was the people’s spirit tree. However, something else floats alongside the Atokirina. Something neytiri has never seen before.
“MAMAAAAAAAAA~!!” Danu calls out in a happy cheery voice.
At the base of the tree stood a human woman. Long braided hair, the ends with what seem like white stone and beads spreaded around her braids. Her outfit seeming to tell she is of higher status.
The woman looks over at danu and smiles, welcoming the girl in a tight embrace. “Mom! I have brought some new guests! Meet the Sully family!” Danu happily introduces and she points to the family.
The woman looks at the family, and greets them in the na’vi way, with grace and elegance sewn in every movement. “Welcome to our home, it seems like you have traveled a lot. Perhaps some rest is needed before you can ask your question"
They were given a home. Looked like a mix of a marui and a hut if Jake could describe it as best as he could. It was spacious, the kids got to have a private spot each and the pit for a cook fire was in the middle. They got to settle down and gather their thoughts, until jake called in for a family meeting.
“Look, I get this is all new. For you, for us. But it seems they are willing to take us in without even asking. So try to be on your best behavior, all of you. Especially you lo’ak” jake says, looking at his second son. Lo’ak wasnt making eye contact so neteyam grabbed him by the neck making him face his dad.
“Will we really stay here…?” Tuk asks nervously. While it seemed very exciting exploring a new place and meet new people, it was also scary. Jake took a moment and answered, “if they let us baby”. Tuk made a whining noise, frowning “I want to go home!” she whimpers. Close to crying. Neytiri looks at her baby with sadness, “oh tuk…”. Jake holds tuk’s hand to comfort her. “This is most likely to be our home now…and we will make most of it”
“What does your father always say?” Neytiri asks her children…
“I hope you have all settled well. Come, you must all be famished” the woman says with an unusual softness to her voice. The sully family were invited to her home, where danu happily helped in serving the food for the newcomers.
“I'm sorry, but what was your name again…?” Jake asks, wondering of the lady. And the woman lightly taps her head, “oh where are my manners. My name is Mai, the tsahik of the Tawsyuram clan” mai introduces herself.
Neytiri’s tail sways curiously, “tsahik? You? But you are a human” she says.
“Indeed, but soon you will learn neytiri, that this clan, this mountain, is not like what you know” Mai says, giving a playful wink.
Mai gestures to everyone to take a seat as Danu serves everyone their portion. The food looked and smelled delicious, and from long travel, all of a suddenly everyone was starving. Tuk was all too happy to dig in, lo’ak doing the same. Both humming at the welcoming taste on their tongues.
“Hungry I take it?” Mai teases as she takes a bite from her food. Neytiri cautiously takes a bite, her ears perking up liking the taste. It taste familiar yet different at the same time. Kind of tricky to describe the taste. But it had meat and other nutritional pieces of food.
Danu sat next to neteyam, the boy looked over at her, really taking in her appearance.
“You can stare at me all you like, pretty boy, but later, it's meal time” Danu winks at him. Neteyam nervously smiles but looks away, feeling his cheeks heat up in embarrassment. He didn't say anything further and just ate in silence.
After their hearty meal, questions flowed out like an endless river. But everyone asked so many questions at the same time, it was a mumbling mess. So, with a simple gesture of a hand, mai lowers the volume collectively. “One by one, all of your questions will be answered” was all she said.
“Exactly, what is this place…?” Jake asks. A lot has happened in the few hours they have been exposed to something this strange. Even for pandora standards.
“A floating mountain. Well, to be more specific, it is a mountain cut from the northern mountains. It is so big, it created its own ecosystem. I found it many years ago and settled in” mai explained.
“Found it…? How?”
“I was a scientist when the RDA arrived, much like many, I fell in love with this planet. It's precious and pure. I remember crying for seeing something so beautiful, so natural and colorful. To say, it didn't take a whole lot to change my mind. So secretly I planted my own ideas. Quiet literally”
Mai turns to point at the spirit tree.
“That tree? It grew from a single seed that I brought with me from earth. Originally, the seed was of a red oak tree. However, when infused with the pandora soil it grew to something different. Something more beautiful. I see it as something from Eywa, her way of blessing the tree, blessing this mountain. And through this miracle tree, we humans can breathe the same air as the na’vi”
Once the na’vi were mentioned, it was neytiri’s turn to ask, “Why would na’vi come here?”
Mai offered tuk a sweet treat as she continued, “why wouldn't they? After many raids from the RDA, many lands destroyed and their homes gone, where else could they have gone? Yes to another clan, but who is to say that clan won't be targeted next? They are tired of constant loss, so here is their answer”
Jake knew there will be many more questions to ask, so he thought of telling his kids to go out and explore, but mai beat him to it.
“Danu my love, why dont you give the sully kids a proper tour of our home? Make sure they know and learn everything of their new home” mai tells danu. Her daughter nods in glee and leads the kids outside of her home.
“Now, with them being entertained, lets talk about…”
“C’mon, this way!” Danu tells the four kids as they follow her closely. Neteyam being very close, might as well be at equal sides, lo’ak not too far and kiri carrying tuk as to not fall behind. Through the many plants, trees, and small bridges, they return back to the village where everyone was doing something.
Tuk smiles as she gets to see the village life in a longer range. Everyone looked so busy, chatting, moving cattle from one place to another, people in stalls trading some items for others, others cooking and feeding those who are hungry. There is something going on in every corner.
“It looks so……busy” lo’ak says as he observes the people.
Danu lets out a short cackle, “of course! It is always busy here, wither hunting, weaving, trading, there is something going on and there is always something new! Come on, let me show you!”
Once again Danu leads the siblings. Weaving a path through the busy crowd, neteyam follows easily, not losing sight of her noticeable hair. He and his siblings silently say “excuse me” and “I'm sorry” as they catch up to danu. They caught up to her as she stood in front of an older na’vi. Sitting on his seat as he fans the smoke of something he is cooking.
“Welcome danu, are those the newcomers I see?” the kind elder na’vi asks, danu nods eagerly. “Yes, I am showing them around the village and soon the whole mountain!” she answers happily. The sullys introduce themselves one by one. While they chatted, tuk couldn't help but drool as the tasty looking food. The elder na’vi noticed and asks, “Would you like one young tuk?”
Tuk hides her face behind kiri’s arm but shyly nods, the elder na’vi chuckles and hands her the most delicious looking treat. “Here, all yours, it is a fish kabab, but be careful. It is really hot” he says, tuk accepts and gently blows on it before taking a bite. Her big eyes sparkle with delight.
“MMNNNNN~!! Its so yummy!!” she happily praises. The elder na’vi smiled with joy, then he handed a fish kabab to each sully. “Enjoy your treat” he says, everyone happily thanked him and soon they made their way again through the paths.
“Damn, this is good” lo’ak comments as he enjoys the fish kabab. Danu turned to him, “trust me, that kabab is just the start. Our cooks are so talented and know just how to use everything and make a delicious meal!”. As she goes on to explain what each clan member does, of all the siblings, neteyam seems to hear but not 100% listen.
He focuses more on danu’s voice and her personality. Something about her seems to draw him in. Is it her enthusiasm? Her boldness? Her extroverted ways? Neteyam doesn't know himself, but if they really are going to stay, he has time to figure it out.
“Oooooooohhh~!! They look so fluffy!!” Tuk says as she points at cute, sheep looking creatures that are being hurdled by a human farmer. Danu took her time to introduce the kids to many aspects of the mountain, To show them that here, it is safe.
“What are they exactly? I have never seen or heard of them before?” kiri asked curiously.
Danu snickered a bit, her shoulders shaking from trying not to laugh “they are called…..floofers. I am not joking, that is what they called”. Tuk looks back at the cute creatures, three yellow beady eyes on each side, 2 sets of horns curled backwards with six hooved feet and remarkably pure white floof as their fur. However small, they look tough.
“I like it, floofers is an interesting choice of a name” lo’ak comments as he twirls a hanging vine nearby.
“But why that name?” it was neteyam’s turn to ask, danu shrugged. “I'm not sure, my mom named them that. I guess because they are floofy? I really don't know but I like it either way” .
They all admired the different herd animals in the massive farm land, until danu led them somewhere else. But as they keep on exploring, kiri notices that a few here and there are interesting glowing insect like creatures. They remind her of Atokirinas, they fly gracefully in a delicate manner. Close to a butterfly shape, they seem to be a bit see-through, almost as if they are either made of thin glass or thin fabric. The light they produce is beautiful, a gentle white glow. And for some reason they are getting closer to her, and kiri in return getting closer to them.
“So pretty!” tuk notices the pretty looking insects, letting one land on her hand.
“Awe, they like you” Danu coos as the glowing beauties land on kiri, taking interest. “What are they…?” Kiri whispers as to not scare them.
“Tswatuhì” Danu replies slowly, admiring the little display in front of her. “They are like atokirina, little blessings of our great mother. And it seems they have taken you quite well kiri”
The little butterflies then left kiri and landed on tuk, lo’ak and neteyam, giving each of them their own glow. “Oh ma’eywa, truly a lovely blessing” Danu says in awe. Humming a bit, Danu enjoys the scenery.
“Truly, truly you guys are like disney princesses” she comments.
“What's a disney princess?” Tuk asks
“It's a Earth thing”
“Ma’jake…are you certain?” Neytiri asks nervously. They have returned back to their new temporary home after talking with mai. They had a lot to think over. So Jake, rubbing his chin as he sits with his mate by his side.
“You heard what mai said. This place is hidden in the clouds and aware from any RDA areas. It is just…too good. Too good of everything. The mountain, the environment, the people…” he goes on.
Neytiri lingers on the people part. Yes, the people. Human and na’vi and the inbetween. As they made their way back, she noticed many romantic couples that were na’vi and human. If they are going to stay, this is something she has no choice but to tolerate. Yet the irony is there, to run away from humans they now have to live with the humans.
“And our children…?” she asks more. But before Jake could respond, as if on cue, their children returned with baskets full of things and big smiles on their happy faces.
“Mom! Dad! You won't believe what we saw!” Lo'ak said eagerly, tuk light slapped his arm because he beat her to it.
“Look look, this fruit is called a watermelon! And it is so good! Very sweet and we can make all sorts of treats with it!” tuk showed the big green melon to her parents. Jake saw it and couldn't believe his eyes.
“Watermelon…huh, this was long gone back in my time…” he whispers.
“We had fish kebabs and we gotta try to make some! Oh! And some of the locals were kind enough to give us these….”
The kids happily spoke of their little journey through the mountain, the people they met, the foods they tried and the overall culture thanks to their new friend Danu. But as they chatted away, Neytiri and Jake shared a look. Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad to stay.
As the sun sets below the horizon and darkness covers all sky and land, the mountain and the life inside comes to life. Bioluminescent colors glow in beautiful colors, and like any part of Pandora, the mountain was its own other word once darkness falls.
Nocturnal creatures come out, and the daytime creatures lay in their nests to sleep.
And the Tawsyuram mountain? They thrive.
Like any tribe, the Tawsyuram clan was no different when it came to communal meals. Everyone went to the main center of the village, light hearted laughter, people dancing, singing, enjoying the moot. It was different yet it felt so familiar to the Sully family. The 5 gather together in a huddle like grip, many other locals surrounding them, giving their greetings and offerings to make them feel welcome.
They appreciate it, Jake is neytiri still feel nervous but the kids have gotten more used to the welcoming treatment and more comfortable talking with the other villagers. Even tuk managed to chat with other kids around her age!
“So…I take it you kids like it?” Jake asks his children, they all nodded eagerly. “Do you feel safe here? Welcomed?” Neytiri asks after him.
“As welcoming as they can get mom” lo’ak grins as he presents her a basket full of unfamiliar fruits and flowers. Kiri snatches a mango from the basket and happily munches on it. “What about you neteyam?” neytiri turns to ask her eldest child.
But neteyam didnt respond, not immediately.
In the center of the moot, there was a ring of young teens, many around his and his siblings' age, dancing and enjoying the moment. Among the youth was danu, who was dancing in a very grateful way. The rhythm of the music flowed around her, keeping up with the pace and matching every beat and note. She looked so lovely with the lighting of the fire. Really hypnotizing really.
Until danu’s eyes met his. Her smile widened more and she makes her way over to neteyam, grabbing his arm tugging him forward. “Come on, dance with me” danu invites. Feeling hesitant, neteyam respectfully tries to deny, “oh no, I dont know how” he says. Earning a little giggle from danu, she tugs him harder making him stand, “it is the way” danu said.
She successfully brings him to the center of the moot where he begins to follow her moves and quickly gets the hang of the dance.
Neytiri and Jake look in awe as they are reminded of their night.
“I believe that answers your question” jake whispers as they take in the full warmth and welcome of the Tawsyuram clan.
Okie this one seriously took me a looooooooooong time! There was so much re-writing and adjusting, I feel like despite how much I did, its not enough to truly cover what I envisioned but I did my best to fit everything in. So I hope you all enjoyed this one! Until next time! See ya!

Legend of the Avatars: Part 1 Prologue
Yeah I am no where near in any state of ready for this story but every time I do wait it never gets done. So we're shaking things up! I wrote this prologue out in prose, just because I thought it was a better fit for the story. First Contact was originally thought of as a comic, so I focused a lot more on dialogue in that one. Also because there are 10 characters to juggle around so the dialogue can get easily lost in prose. With Legend of the Avatars, however, the stories are much more intimately centered on just a few characters, so I figured prose was the way to go. So without further ado, here's the first part of the story! TLDR: The author is insecure and overexplains everything they do.

Legend of the Avatars: Part One Prologue
A Tale as Old as Time

"Water. Earth. Fire. Air. These are the four great elements that ties our world together. Each one coexists in our physical realm in perfect harmony with the people. Since time began, the elements-"
"Just skip to the good part, you old squawk!"
The Rito elder frowned at the interruption. He was currently sitting in front of a semi-circle of chicks on a grassy knoll. He was telling them the Tale of the Avatar, which is one of the most important stories that anyone in Hyrule needed to know. But apparently, one child was unimpressed. The other children giggled.
"Revali? What have I told you about interrupting story time?"
A young navy blue feathered Rito, no more than 6 years of age, simply shrugged his shoulders, completely unpeturbed. As the other chicks were working on suppressing their laughter, he turned his attention back to the toy in his wings.
"Ahem." the elder chirped. He then continued his lesson. He stressed to them how important it was for the world to be in balance. When the world is balanced, all the races know peace and tranquillty. When the world is out of balance, it invites chaos and strife. It gives rise to monsters. Terrifying creatures that are driven only by their bloodlust and need for destruction. In order to defend themselves from these threats, of Hylia, the creater of the physical world, gave the people of Hyrule the extraordinary ability to control the elements, bending them to their will. The aquatic race of the Zoras learned to bend water. The stone Gorons of Death Mountain learned to bend the earth. The women of Gerudo desert learned to summon and control fire. And of course, the avain race of the Ritos learned to bend air itself to aid in their flight.
"And Hylians and Shiekah that can't bend anything at all. But are still important for some reason."
"Revali, this is your last warning."
The elder elaborated that the ability to bend the elements (and the ingeniuity of those who cannot) were all powerful weapons. However, eons ago, a overwhelmingly powerful dark force began to creep into the physical world from the mysterious spiritual world. These forces are what gave rise to the first monsters. Even with all of Hylia's gifts, the people were still in dire need of a greater protector. But there was one unknown person who by some miracle learned how to bend all four elements. They drove back the dark forces with not just their power, but with the power of benevolent spirits previously unknown to the physical world. This great hero became known as The Avatar, the bridge between worlds and protector of both.
"But sadly," the elder continued, "everyone's life must come to an end. Even the Avatar's. The world mourned the loss of it's hero. But then, a generation later, another hero rose with the same abilities as the Avatar. That is when the people learned that while the body of an Avatar will perish, their spirit will continue on into the next stage of the great elemental cycle. Hylia had once again given Hyrule a great gift. And from then on, Hyrule had, and will always have it's Avatar."
The Rito chicks began to chirp excitedly. One of them spoke up.
"The next Avatar is going to be a Rito, right elder?"
He chuckled. "Yes, young one. Our last saviour, Avatar Urbosa, was born a Gerudo and a fire bender. The element that comes after fire in the great cycle is air. Which means the new Avatar will be born into our noble race." He smiled at his charges. "Who knows? It might even be one of you!" he cheerfully teased.
This got the chicks even more excited. They were debating amoungst themselves which of them would be the Avatar. However, it seemed as if the young navy wasn't done yet.
"It doesn't matter who the Avatar is. When I grow up, I'm going to be the strongest warrior that ever lived. No one will even think about the Avatar!"
The other chicks gasped.
The elder Rito scowled at the audacity. "That's it. You've flapped that beak of yours one too many times, Revali. I will not have you disrespecting the greatest figure of our nation that way. I don't want to see you until you've flown three laps around the entire village. Starting now!"
"Oooohhhh" The other chicks laughed. But once again, the young navy simply shrugged again. He left his toy behind and leapt off the cliff beside them to begin his flight. Had the elder not known better, he would have sworn the little brat was smirking.
"As for the rest of you, story time's over. Now go play."
The children hurried off to their little adventures and games. "I can't believe Revali got in trouble again." he heard some of them saying as they left. "He's got a big beak. No one's that strong!" another chimed.
The elder watched them go. And then he sighed. He retrieved the toy Revali had left behind. It was Shiekah made and shaped like a fierce eagle. The elder regarded the toy and shook his head.
"When that boy becomes the Avatar, may Hylia have mercy on us all."

List of Hindu Gods
Not by any means a complete listing, as there are countless gods in Hinduism. But the following are many of the most significant:
Primordial gods:
Brahman - the divine masculine consciousness (not to be confused with Brahma). Moksha (Enlightenment) is the realization of Brahman, an instantaneous awareness of the fundamental oneness of the universe.
Adi Parashakti - the divine feminine energy of creative power; the “Cosmic Womb”. Manifests as the Mother-goddess, Parvati.
The Trimurti:
Brahma - the creator god
Vishnu - god of preservation and protection of all that is good. He embodies righteousness, compassion, and virtue. Whenever protection is needed upon Earth, he incarnates (there are around 24 Avatars of Vishnu). Seen as the Supreme God in the Vaishnaivism sect.
Shiva - god of destruction, asceticism, yoga, meditation, Enlightenment, and the Cosmic Dance. Commonly said to be the Supreme God as he is believed to embody Brahman, and is the husband of Shakti/Parvati. It is Shiva who has power over time and transformation, allowing the rebirth of Creation to occur. He is the very embodiment of purity, goodness, wisdom, and beauty. In Hinduism, yoga is meditation, pranayama, and various ascetic practices performed in order to achieve Enlightenment.
The Tridevi:
Parvati - mother-goddess of love, fertility, devotion, marital happiness, family, beauty, abundance, nourishment, determination, and power. She is Shakti Herself and manifests as many other goddesses. The Ultimate Goddess, Mother of the Universe; wife of Lord Shiva.
Lakshmi - goddess of abundance, material wealth, good fortune, luxury, fertility, success, generosity, happiness, grace, charm, and splendour. Wife of Lord Vishnu. She has eight forms representing the eight types of wealth, called Ashtalakshmi.
Saraswati - goddess of knowledge, wisdom, inspiration, clarity, logic, speech, music, art, and writing. Originally a river goddess. Wife of Lord Brahma.
Various Important Deities:
Indra - Lord of the Heavens. God of the sky, weather, storms, thunder, and war.
Varuna - god of the oceans, water, aquatic animals, justice, and truth. He is the upholder of law and order in this world. He has a thousand eyes and oversees the whole world.
Agni - god of fire, heat, electricity, and the hearth; master of sacrificial offerings. No sacrifice is complete without his presence. His presence makes the sacrifice successful because he sends those sacrifices to the gods. He is the messenger as well as the priest of gods. He is kind and giving and loved by many. He is depicted as having 2 heads, 6 eyes, 7 hands, 3 legs, and 4 horns.
Rudra - god of storms, lightning, and wind. Known as “The Howler” and is a fierce form of Shiva. Can both give and heal diseases.
Nataraja - Shiva’s form as the Lord of the Cosmic Dance. He is the Creator, Preserver, and Destroyer.
Bhairava - Shiva’s terrifying form as the destroyer of evil
Virabhadra - Shiva’s wrathful form of destruction
Ardhanarishvara - the united form of Shiva and Parvati - the inseparable divine couple who symbolize the act of Creation.
Hanuman - monkey-god of strength, knowledge, and victory
Yama - god of the Dead and justice
Ganesha (Ganapati) - god of beginnings, the arts, science, intellect, and wisdom; the remover of obstacles. Son of Shiva and Parvati.
Kartikeya (Skanda/Murugan) - god of war and victory; an embodiment of perfection; son of Shiva and Parvati.
Ashokasundari - goddess of beauty and luxury. Daughter of Shiva and Parvati.

Surya - god of the Sun, light, and power
Chandra - god of the Moon
Some notable forms of Shakti/Parvati:
Durga - warrior goddess of power, strength, courage, justice, determination, and protection. She is the form created by the powers of the gods combined- awakening as Shakti Herself. Durga rides upon a lion and has 8-10 arms, all of which hold divine weapons.
Kali - goddess of time, transformation, destruction, rebirth, ego death, and enlightenment. She is equally terrifying as she is beautiful, and she is the nourisher of her children. Thus, she is always portrayed as young and healthy. Mother Kali is terrifying because she represents what we must face in ourselves before we are liberated from our Egos, but she is wholly benevolent and loving. It is ignorance and evil that she hates and annihilates. Kali Ma is said to be the Ultimate Reality.
Lalita (Tripura Sundari) - the beautiful and sweet goddess of creation, love, beauty, compassion, wisdom, and sensuality. She is the Beauty of the Three Worlds and is the loving defender of her children, her devotees.
Chinnamasta - the goddess of transformation and sacrifice. Form that Parvati took after cutting off her own head in order to feed her followers her own blood. She represents paradoxes, being death/pleasure, nourishment/sacrifice, sex/self-control, beauty/macabre.
Tara - the more serene form of Kali, goddess of hunger who is known as “the star”.
Chandraghanta - Parvati as the compassionate and gentle protectress who embodies serenity, forgiveness, peace, grace, prosperity, courage, and strength. This form was utilized by Parvati when she went to meet with Shiva in one of his terrifying forms.

Brahmacharini - Parvati as the ascetic goddess who did severe penance in order to coax Shiva from his meditation so she could marry him. She performed severe austerity and due to this, She is called Brahmacharini.

Powerful Harmony-Part 23
Later on, all 4 benders as well as Sokka and Suki stood in the middle of the Jedi Council Chamber. Ahsoka, Anakin, Obi-wan and Padme stood on the side. Yoda: “Appreciative we are to have you here. Heard from each and every single one of you individually we have.”
Sokka whispered to Aang. Sokka: “I still have no idea what he just said.”
Suki shushed him; Anakin placed his hand on his forehead in shame. Mace: “What Master Yoda is trying to say is we thank you for being here. We heard from each of you, you told us a little about yourself and from we have heard, we have found that each of you consist of determination towards each of your goals." Sokka: "Now, why didn't you just say that!?!"
Sokka was struck on a lower part of his body. Anakin kept his hand on his forehead as he shook his head, frustrated. Mace: “We have also heard that each of you have struggled through different forms of strife, but despite that, you have shown that you were able to set them aside and accomplish so much. Katara, you have suffered a great lost when the Fire Nation killed your mother but you managed to endure the grief and become the Waterbender you always wanted to be and the kind, caring person who takes care of her friends and brother. Toph, your parents refused to see you for who you are; they were even determined to lock you away and prevent you from reaching your full potential for their own selfish purposes, but you broke through those barriers of your own disability and belittlement and strive to go beyond them. Zuko, you have struggled and suffered through your nation’s treachery and corrupt ways and your twisted family’s constant belittlement of your usefulness. You were probably the one who struggled the most, but your determination to make something of yourself, to prove to everyone that you weren’t a failure paid off a lot. Although it wasn’t an easy task, you made it all worthwhile and became better than you had ever hoped. Aang, we know how much you didn’t want to become the Avatar but you manage to understand how much your world needed you, how much your friends needed you and embraced you destiny as the Avatar to protect everything and everyone you care about. Sokka, you grieved over the loss of your mother just as much as your sister Katara did, but you were more than willing to do anything to protect your sister. Suki, despite having so many people look down upon you, you excelled to become the type of warrior no one who ever believe you would be. We are proud to have met each and every one of you. We have come to a decision. We do not see anything in the Jedi Code stating that we are not allowed to have outsiders aide us in our battles but the code does indicate that we must do whatever we can to protect everything and everyone and considering that our survival, even more so, our existence, is on the line, we have no other choice but to bestow upon you our full trust in eradicating the new threat that has penetrated our galaxy.” Yoda: “Counting on you to fight off the strange, new creatures we are, our full support you have.”
Aang enclosed his hand into his fists, held them both in front of him and bowed. Aang: “Thankful, we are. Grateful, I am.”
Yoda smiled. Sokka and Aang whispered to each other. Sokka: “Hey, Aang, I didn’t know you knew how to speak like that short, green, pointy eared, shrively guy?” Aang: “I didn’t, I just guessed.”
Mace Windu then turned his attention towards Ahsoka, Anakin, Obi-wan and Padme. Mace: “We’re placing each of you in charge of these kids. Understand everything you can about their world, their fighting styles, their way of life, how they live, how they thrive, learn more about this bending of theirs, obtain wisdom from them and teach them everything about our world and everything that comes with it.”
Mace then turned back towards the benders. Mace: “As for you kids, if you’re going to stay here, then you’re going to have to learn how to fight against our enemies. There is an empty building that sits in between the Senate Skyscraper and the Jedi Temple. We will setup a training program for each of you in that building. Just let us know what you need and we will bring them to you.” Kit: “It has been an honor to speak to all of you and to have you come to our aid.” Plo Koon: “We wish each of you nothing but the best and may the force be with you, all of you.” Kit: “Farewell, my young friends.” Katara: “See ya and thank you for everything.”
The Benders and warriors turned around and walked out of the chambers. Ahsoka, Anakin, Obi-wan and Padme walked out with them.

ZKDD Day 30: Forever Family
Title: If One of Your Soulmates Told You to Go Jump in the River, Would You?
Rating: T (cussing, mentioned past character death, brief mention of infanticide)
Summary: Zuko always believed his destiny was tied to the Avatar, he just never thought it would be in this way. (Fruits Basket!AU)
Note: A/N can be found on AO3 (including a chart to figure out your atla zodiac lol) Also! I would appreciate feedback because I’m thinking of expanding on this idea more for the Zutara Big Bang :)
@zkdrabbledecember
A long time ago, the Avatar lived together in harmony with their twelve friends: the shirshu, the flying bison, the tiger seal, the jackalope, the dragon, the koi fish, the ostrich horse, the koala sheep, the winged lemur, the turtleduck, the polar bear dog, and the badgermole.
Unfortunately, those idyllic days did not last forever. Strife was brewing between the Spirit and Human Worlds, and only the Avatar was capable of restoring balance. There was no choice, but to leave the Spirit World and to live among the humans. The Avatar was heartbroken to be separated from their closest friends, but they knew they must do so, or great calamity would befall the world.
The Twelve understood why the Avatar must go, however, they could not bear to be parted from the one that had brought them all together.
“We will follow you. We will join you in bringing balance to the Spirit and Human Worlds,” the Twelve told the Avatar.
“Let us be together forever,” the Avatar responded with joy. “May we always find each other in every life.
From that day onward, the Avatar has always been accompanied by members of the Twelve. For there is nothing on this planet that is more powerful than the bond between the Twelve and the Avatar. They are destined to be together. Forever.
___
Everyone had always thought he was a fool for choosing to pursue the Avatar.
Zuko had been given two avenues to regain his honor, and he had opted to search for the mythical figure that had been missing for over a century. His crew detested his decision, and Uncle… Uncle was apathetic towards his efforts at best; most likely disappointed he could not relive his glory days through his nephew.
He knew others thought that he had given up, that he had never planned on returning to his place in the Fire Nation, that he was too weak and too much of a coward to hunt members of the Twelve. But that couldn’t be further from the truth.
He would gladly struggle and fight for as long as possible because he knew his destiny. His destiny was to capture the Avatar, and the airbender’s reemergence had proven him correct. It was only a matter of time now.
The first few attempts had gone astray, but Zuko had a good feeling about collaborating with the pirates to capture the waterbender to use as bait. It didn’t matter that Uncle did not agree with his methods, and that Zuko had to set off by himself with only a small squadron. He would prove Uncle and everyone else wrong; he had to.
___
When you were one of the Twelve, touch was the most intimate of things. Any form of embrace would trigger the transformation, so most Zodiac members learnt to dance around it; learnt how to get out of the societal norms that would so often lead to falling into other’s arms.
But Katara thrived on it. She patted heads, held hands, bumped shoulders, and kissed foreheads. She loved to touch others; to get as close as possible. She knew it was dangerous, but she loved it. She wanted others to know that she cared for them.
Before Aang, she had only ever been hugged by her family. Some of her favorite memories were of when her mom would let her transform and spend the whole day cuddling together in the furs. (Only under duress would she admit that Sokka carrying her around like a polar dog pup were also some of her favorites).
For her whole life, an embrace had only ever been a signifier of the utmost trust and affection. Hugs and cuddles were sacred, not a thing to be feared.
However, that was before Aang and before leaving the Southern Water Tribe and before seeing the wanted posters of rumored members of the Twelve.
That was before Zuko had snuck up on her, said that spirits awful line, and sent her careening back into the arms of one of the pirates. That was before time stopped for a moment and her stomach dropped and she thought to herself: fuck .
___
Katara expected to see a few things when she opened her eyes:
The puff of smoke from her transformation? Check.
Her pile of clothes on the ground? Check.
Pirates and Fire Nation soldiers charging at her? Check.
What Katara was never expecting to see —not even after a thousand years — was a poof of smoke similar to her own clearing up, and a turtleduck emerging from a pile of red and gold armor.
Before her mind could even form the question of what in the Four Nations just happened, one of the soldiers shouted, “Prince Zuko is a traitor! Seize him and the tiger seal!”
“Oh no you don’t,” the Pirate Captain sneered, “We’ll be the ones gettin’ the reward for the turtleduck and tiger seal.”
And then all hell broke loose.
With all of her might, Katara bounced her way between the fighting pirates and soldiers, biting and tail whipping as she went. She needed to get to the river; outswimming them was the only plausible method of escape.
She was almost there, the water practically touching her flippers, when she heard a familiar raspy voice command, “Get back! I’m your Prince!” followed by hisses of pain.
Zuko.
Her enemy. The boy who relentlessly chased them around the world, trying to kidnap Aang and destroy any chance at peace. And the boy, who apparently was one of her soulmates. One of the people she had shared countless lifetimes with maintaining balance. The boy who was near the water, but was too busy breathing fire at the advancing troops to notice his surroundings.
She didn’t know why he spent so long pursuing them when he could have joined them, but she did know that he needed some help. And Katara never turned her back on people who needed her.
So she screamed, “Zuko! Go jump in the river!”
___
Zuko did not know what was happening.
He did not know why one of his men stumbling into him caused a tiny explosion. He did not know why he’s suddenly the size of a cat. He did not know why he appeared to have a beak and a shell now. He did not know why his men were calling him a traitor.
Zuko only knew one thing: the spirits hated him.
So he ran because the men chased him. He screamed because they further besmirched his honor with lies. He breathed fire because they attacked him.
He was disconnected from reality; the only thing that felt real was the pounding in his ears and the churning of his stomach.
“Zuko! Go jump in the river!”
It was the waterbender. The tiger seal. She called to him from the river bank, slapping her fins against the water for emphasis. “Jump in the river!”
So he jumped.
___
There was a saying in the Fire Nation navy: A decent sailor knows the changes of the tides; a great sailor knows the cycles of the Twelve .
As important as the knowledge contained in the official seafaring manual was, it did not bring glory to their homeland. Any average Lee could spew off the fuel consumption rate of a Fire Nation cruiser; only the greatest of men could present the Fire Lord with a member of the Twelve in chains. And even then, only the best of them would be permitted to carry out the execution themselves.
Captain Zhao had been granted this honor thirteen times. In fact, he was the most successful hunter of the Twelve in the history of the Fire Nation. Not even the Dragon of the West, with a measly count of three kills, could compare to him. There was a reason the old man was wasting away on a dilapidated rust bucket, and Zhao was being heralded as the Zodiac Killer.
Yes, Zhao was quite proud of his accomplishments, but he wanted more. He had brought thirteen members of the Twelve to their knees before the people of Caldera City, but four of those had been repeats. And where was the glory in that?
No one had ever managed a complete set, but Zhao would most definitely be the first. The jackalope, koi fish, and turtleduck were the only ones left.
The jackalope was still at large in the Earth Kingdom, but was most likely under the protection of Omashu’s Mad King. After dealing with the Northern Water Tribe, Omashu would be the next stronghold to fall to the Fire Nation.
The koi fish had always been the trickiest of the Twelve to catch. This was not due to the koi fish being particularly intelligent or skillful, but simply because it was a creature cursed with terrible luck. Most parents were terrified when their newborn transformed into a fish, and by the time they realized what was happening; their fish child had already suffocated. As a result, it was impossible to know for sure how many incarnations of the koi fish had been reborn since the start of the Hundred Year War.
The koi fish of the Zodiac would be an excellent addition to his collection, but Zhao had it on good authority that there’s an even better prize in the Northern Water Tribe. Besides, it’s been at least two decades since the North had presented the Fire Nation with one of the Twelve, perhaps Zhao would come across a pleasant surprise during his expedition.
And then there was the turtleduck. After confirmation that the previous turtleduck had been an Earth Kingdom warrior, Zhao had been scouring the Poles for rumors. He had assumed the next would be of Water descent, but oh how shortsighted he had been.
How could he have forgotten how often Earth liked to mix themselves with others? The warrior had not been an Earth incarnation, but one of Air.
The current cycle was Fire. And after reading the memo on his desk about reports of pirates seeing a scarred boy transform into a turtleduck, he knew exactly who to look for.
Zhao had always enjoyed the hunt, but this was shaping up to be his favorite. It’s not everyday you get to kill a prince, after all.

We did it! We've finished scene 4 of Book 2 of Avatar: Strife and Harmony! This was a big accomplishment for both Sydney and I. As a sister duo, making a full scale graphic novel can seem a bit impossible sometimes. But getting to see this sene come together has been just as exciting for us as it hopefully has been for all of you.
Enjoy watching Sokka's play burn up in flames! More will be burned in the next scene!
As always, we wish to thank our awesome supporters over on Patreon! We may be small but their contribution, whether financially or in words, always helps us out! Thank you to The Star Wars Battlefront Podcast, Summer, Spencer, Rocketaxxon, Stefanie Sunshine, Cary Sawatsky, Mimi, Adam, Jacob Basinger, and Matsuo Tanuki!

Hey folks! Chris Allen here; today, I’m bringing with me a bit of bonus content originally cut from The Pack, the first supplement for Werewolf: The Forsaken 2nd Edition.
When we were developing how Lodges would work in 2nd Edition, one of the core concepts I wanted to push was the idea that Lodges are cults. They’re weird groups of weird people doing weird things; they’re transgressive because those transgressions bond the adherents together and often give real power, and they’re secretive because they don’t want outsiders to know about those transgressions. They practice odd traditions and perform strange acts to strengthen the mystic power of the Lodge and its totem.
In order to really demonstrate this in practice, I wrote up a set of “Mysteries” for each of the sample Lodges in the book. These were going to replace the story hooks — indeed, you’ll see where some of the story hooks were repurposed for the Mysteries format — and serve as a direct presentation of the ways each particular Lodge was blasphemous, transgressive, tight-knit, or just plain odd. In the end, we kept with the story hooks format that was published due to a lack of time to insert the new Mysteries approach, but I kept the cut material and I’m glad to now be able to share it with you.
Ultimately, Lodge Mysteries best represent my vision for how to get across the nature of each of these Lodges, detailing the practices and mystic secrets that fuel rumors and suspicion among the uninitiated.
The Lodge of Garm: Mysteries of the God-Killers
The cult rejects the second tenet of the Oath of the Moon, the People do not murder the People. The Lodge believes the tenet is false doctrine spread and encouraged by a corrupt faction among the Lunes. Garm has bestowed the adherents with true wisdom — killing other Uratha can be righteous.
Garmir harvest slain Pure elders to make grisly trophies. The cult believes these steal the power the Pure Firstborn have invested in their Anshega champions. On the first hunter’s moon of the year, cultists gather and offer a tithe of such trophies to the sand-fleshed wolf spirits that serve Garm. Garm demands captive Pure elders are also offered up as sacrifices, usually by being burnt alive.
Fierce wolves and dogs guard cult property or accompany Lodge warriors. The cult feeds the flesh of fallen Pure enemies to the beasts in the belief that the canines thus steal the Anshega totems’ strength. When the animals perish, the Lodge consumes the bodies in bloody ceremonies.
To repay loyal spirits of strife or destruction, Garm orders Lodge cells to stir up conflict amongst mortal communities. His wolf-servants of sand and hieroglyphs judge disobedient cultists harshly, but sometimes gift successful cells with fetish weapons wrought from wolf-teeth and bronze.
The Lodge guards two secret forms of the written First Tongue, one a runic script and the other in hieroglyphs. The cult believes the runes and glyphs hold special power over wolf spirits and Uratha ancestor spirits. Garmir uses these sacred scripts to call and bind ancestral spirits of their enemies, denying the Pure their allies. Trapped spirits undergo terrible torments and inquisitions by the God-Killer’s brood.
The Thousand Steel Teeth: Mysteries of the Steel Teeth
Humanity owes the roads a debt; the spirit courts are eager to collect in blood on the asphalt. The Steel Teeth fight that ravenous appetite, chaining the road spirits with pacts to enforce restraint. They let the spirits collect only a small tithe of lives through accidents and deaths.
The spirits cause accidents as part of the tithe. When a driver survives through sheer luck or supernatural intervention, it weakens the pacts. The Smoke Drinker reaches through car radios and the pattern of raindrops on windscreens to its adherents when this happens, setting them on the hunt of the hapless survivors — and any entities responsible for causing the upset.
A gear dog who dies well on the high-speed hunt, perishing amidst hurtling metal and spraying gasoline and the scream of air rushing past, is her own offering to the road courts — forcing them to accept her blood in place of a thousand human lives.
When the phases of the moon and the stock market prices of the big car manufacturers align, it is time for the sacred Hecatomb. In these wild celebrations, one hundred cars must burn in a grand sacrifice to the Smoke Drinker — a night of thievery and high-speed chases as the Steel Teeth compete for the finest rides they can steal.
Cultists perform the iziga to repent after sinning through breaking Oath or ban or whatever minor traffic law the totem has declared sacrosanct. In this fiery ritual, adherents paint sigils of repentance on their flesh in oil or gasoline then set them alight, searing the sin away.
The guhkharraan is a holy pilgrimage of roads. A cultist seeking revelation or spiritual harmony begins with naught but the clothes on her back, eats only what she can glean from the roadside and listens to the oracular whispers of the spirits of road and fume. Some find hallucinatory revelation at the end of their journeys.
The Lodge of the Screaming Moon: Mysteries of the Screaming Moon
All banshees practice the kilisu-zithu, the ritual girding before the sacred hunt. The adherent wears terrifying trophies taken from her own kills; the bloodier and messier and the more screaming there was, the richer the resonance of fear. The Tyrant’s allied spirits pay honor to cultists with the most terrifying kilisu-zithu.
The Lodge sometimes kidnaps humans who possess second sight or psychic powers. The cult subjects such a hapless victim to endless terrors and maddening torments, aiming to drive him insane. Adherents believe this strengthens and purifies the prophetic power of such a lunatic visionary, and it links the victim to other such madmen held by the banshees across the world.
Several times a year, adherents secretly gather beneath the new moon. They share their darkest and most important secrets and perform the ihinudu iduth. In this ceremony, an Ithaeur and Cahalith each have an eye put out, which they crush and then smear the gory result on the eyelids of the other cultists. This sacrifice conceals the Lodge totem’s nature as a Lune from those who would pry, unleashing madness or blinding infections on fools delving into the cult’s secrets.
Banshees collect the paraphernalia and remains of famous human murderers and serial killers. The Lodge builds eldritch shrines with these morbid relics, not in praise but as lures for copycats, full-fledged slashers and even stranger horrors all drawn to the shrines like iron filings to a lodestone. This provides fresh prey for cultists, and also creates potent resonance to feed the spiritual vassals of the Tyrant Over Fear.
The Lodge totem can see out of any white mask that an adherent wears, if it chooses to pay attention to that Uratha and the cultist has not broken the Lodge ban in the last year. During the gibbous moon, the Tyrant can do far more than that — it can use its spiritual powers through such a mask or even manifest part or all of its body, although this takes a heavy toll on the Lune.
The Temple of Apollo: Mysteries of the Sun
The Thebans possess several omphalos stones — fragments of carved stone pulsing with spiritual power. The cult believes these are from a major manifestation of Apollo in the distant past. Lodge elders have tried to tap into these stones to become an avatar of the Sun Wolf, but every elder who has thus far tried has perished.
The Temple of Apollo murders humans for oracular purposes as well as to feed the Sun Wolf. The pack uses simple auguries to select victims, who they abduct and drug with a concoction of poisons and Essence. The dying victim falls to hallucination and gibbers glossolalia, which the Thebans interpret. This ceremony serves as an extremely powerful form of the Read the World’s Loom Facet from the Insight Gift, although it takes at least an hour to decipher the ravings.
Spirits of the hyacinth plant are either close allies or rabid foes of the Temple. Thebans anoint human sacrifices with extracts of the plant as it has the favor of the Sun Wolf. Furthermore, anointing the animated dead with hyacinth allows Thebans to vomit a blazing soul out of their Lodge bond in a reverse of the sacred hunt, turning the undead into a Ridden bound to a twisted, distorted helion spirit.
Over the years, the Shadow of the temples slowly develops and deepens. Repeated Apollonian ceremonies and rites reinforce the Hisil, imbuing it with resonance of the sun. The oldest temples have sizeable Places-That-Aren’t, strange sunlit structures of mirrors and marble.
Meetings of the Culte de la Raison are often debauched and orgiastic, but the Temple carefully manages these evenings of vice to feed various allied spirits of vices and pleasure. The Temple also holds Lyceum meetings, when Culte members judged to have the greatest occult aptitude join an “inner circle” — the pack — and learn to participate in rites. The Masters of the Culte are all loyal Claimed, picked from the inner circle and subjected to ecstatic ceremonies to prepare them as vessels.
The Eaters of the Dead: Mysteries of the Ravening Wolf
The Eaters of the Dead keep several old spirits of hunger sealed away. Ritual feasts of gluttonous consumption occur at times and dates suited to the nature of each spirit, usually banquets of putrid meat and stale cast-offs. The Essence generated keeps the spirits in quiescent slumber.
Some Lodge hunters exsanguinate their undead prey, decanting the stolen blood from fanged corpses or ravenous monstrosities. Hidden temples to Ravening Wolf have galleries of clotted gore. Through smell and taste, the Ki Anagh learn many secrets of the unquiet dead. The Eaters are mapping bloodlines and ‘families’ amongst the dead, revealing fresh mysteries to investigate.
There is a schism in the ranks of the Lodge. Some Eaters favor close ties to the Lodge of Death; Chinese emissaries of the Lodge are offering alliance. Other cultists flock to a different banner — the Tesfurfarrahu, or Devourers. The Devourers are a small cabal claiming to have proof of an old, powerful pact that bound Isim-Ur, though she does not remember this. Devourer doctrine states there are other dead children of Mother Wolf that the Lodge must discover and devour as a holy duty, just like with Ravening Wolf.
Ravening Wolf is powerful and very much present; she runs among her new followers on hunts through the Shadow. She is looking for a mate among her adherents, a werewolf with enough primal power to survive her affections and begin a new spiritual family. Suitors court the totem with trophies and rotting carrion from their kills.
At Ravening Wolf’s command, the Lodge takes young orphans and conducts strange ceremonies over them, even going so far as to kidnap them from state custody briefly. In these cult rituals, the children are fed a drip of Isim-Ur’s blood or a fleck of her spirit-flesh. The totem promises that one day, when this crop of orphans comes of age, they will be powerful Wolf-Blooded fated for great things.

ug 30 – Krishna Janmashtami The 8th day of this waning moon, as it aligns with the blessed star of Rohini in Taurus, is the birthday of Lord Krishna. It’s said that in times of trouble, division and strife, Lord Vishnu, the preserver, incarnates on earth to bring balance and harmony back to the world. Krishna is the 8th avatar of Lord Vishnu, the god of love and compassion who was born at the stroke of midnight in the depths of a dungeon cell. From his stormy birth, he rises to destroy all demons of despair and brings light and freedom back to earth. It’s said that as a child, Krishna had a very unique twinkle in his eyes, and all who came into his presence were spontaneously filled with joy. <3 Mantra: “Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya” Meaning: I bow down to the Lord who resides in the hearts of all beings. Powerful Harmony-Part 47
Later on, Aang stood with Katara and Zuko in front of a window and stared out at the city. Ahsoka then joined them. She looked at Aang and noticed something about him. Ahsoka: “You looked troubled. Are you OK, Aang?” Aang: “This place is so different. It’s very different from the world I’m use to, how the monks of my temple raised me.” Katara: “Not to mention that this place makes Ba Sing Se look so…small, or the fact that this place is completely made of metal.” Ahsoka: “What kinds of cities do you have in your world?” Katara: “I guess, depending on the location, I’d say, some of them are the kind that are made of rock or other natural things. We had some building that were made of metal, of course, but none as advance as this.” Zuko: “Our most advanced engineers didn’t come close to being as efficient as this.” Ahsoka: “I take it you guys came from a simple place.” Katara: “Yes, we relied on the elements of our world for many things.” Ahsoka: “Sounds fascinating.” Katara: “Most of the buildings of the Earth Kingdom were constructed by Earthbenders. In the North Pole, the entire city is sculptured from ice by Waterbenders.” Ahsoka: “An entire city constructed from ice? I’m not sure how anyone would thrive in such an environment.” Katara: “Well, environments that have a lot of ice are perfect for Waterbenders because there’s always lots of water to bend.” Ahsoka: “So areas containing lots of water and ice are perfect environments for Waterbenders, while many rocky terrains are perfect for Earthbenders.” Katara: “Exactly, the Earth Kingdom capital of Ba Sing Se was built in one. The entire city was constructed by Earthbenders. It is surrounded by a huge wall to protect it from invaders. It takes more than 10 Earthbenders just to open and close them.” Ahsoka: “Whoa! That sounds like a lot was put into that 1 city. It must be huge!” Katara: “It’s the biggest city of our world. Although, this whole planet pretty much tops that.” Ahsoka: “I know but your Earth Kingdom city sounds really amazing.” Katara: “It is a pretty amazing place.” Ahsoka: “So, what sort of environments do Air Nomads find best?” Aang: “We set up our homes on mountains tops in secluded areas. My people have always detached themselves from the world and lived freely. We never resort to any type of strife or conflict, we always lived in peace and that was how we liked it. We would sometimes wander away from our homes and travel the world, looking for fun and adventure. That was the life I always wanted. I never wanted to be the Avatar.”
Ahsoka walked up to Aang and embraced him closely. Ahsoka: “I’m so sorry, Aang, for everything you had to endure. I may have some idea with what you’re going through.” Aang: “You do?”
Ahsoka let go of Aang and stood up in front of him. Ahsoka: “I was taken from my home when I was really young by Master Plo Koon, shortly after my abilities were discovered. Although, it was normal for someone like myself to be pulled away at such a young age.” Aang: “Not for me. I was never supposed to learn of my identity until I was a bit older. My childhood was taken away from me way too quickly.” Ahsoka: “I know, Aang, I know.”
Anakin stepped into the room. Anakin: “It’s time to go.” Aang: “Go? Where?” Anakin: “We’re leaving Coruscant. We’re going to show you kids what life is like in outer space.”
Aang became startled, then looked down. Anakin became concerned with Aang. Anakin: “Is there anything wrong, Aang?” Aang: “It’s just…no, it’s nothing. Let’s go.”
Aang walked out of the room. Katara and Zuko followed. Ahsoka walked up towards Anakin and shrugged her shoulders before leaving. Anakin followed.

Pratchett’s Journal April the 5th
Hillsbrad. Southshore. Tarren Mill. Beautiful townships of their day, now ruins in the face of the Forsaken.
Don't misunderstand; people of different cultures are inherently different. But the Forsaken tend to destroy the world around them more than other species do. The shu'halo live in harmony with nature. Humans tend to not outright devastate the countryside. Even goblins- well almost everyone is a good example I suppose.
There isn't any sign of him here. He writes in his journal of visiting these townships and areas with awe and wonder. He sees them as the true frontier, where men and women struggle to be free and live their own lives. Places where the Light touches the common people of the land and embraces them through hardship and strife. In return for giving their all to survival and their kin, they are fulfilled.
As I write this, I sit in a burnt-out farmstead. A band of gnolls must have made it their camp briefly, considering the paw prints and crude graffiti. There are no corpses left. No valuables. No hint of who lived here, just a shell. A corpse of a home.
Much the same as this entire land is a corpse of its former self.
The next series of entries from Alurius are all about visiting the people here. Seeing the sights. Spending evenings in fierce debate with the locals on their beliefs. He encounters people that believe in a single deific being, and those that see the Avatars of Wisdom as deeply spiritual totems of their representative beliefs.
I can see how it shaped his writings later on.
I'm going to thumb through the next few entries to see where he went. But from what Randrice said, I should go north to follow the passages.

Powerful Harmony-Part 24
They soon returned to the first building they were at. Inside, they approached a large, round table containing a large feast. Katara sat next to both Anakin and Aang. Suki sat in between Sokka and Toph as Toph sat next to Obi-wan. Padme sat next to Anakin as Ahsoka sat next to both her and Obi-wan and lastly, Zuko sat next to Aang. Sokka, of course, had already rushed over the table and sat down as soon as he spotted a large plate filled with several drumsticks. Sokka: “MEEEEAAAAT!!!”
He then grabbed on to a few of them and wolfed them down. Anakin, of course, became annoyed by Sokka’s grossly, immense appetite. Katara: “Yeah, Sokka loves meat.” Anakin: “Gee, really? I hardly noticed!” Katara: “Anakin.”
At that time, Jar Jar sat next to Sokka, annoying him by grabbing everything he sees. Zuko, who sat on the other side of Jar Jar, had a surprised look on his face when Jar Jar was doing the same to him. Sokka: “Really!?! Do I need to sit next to this guy!?!” Anakin: “I don’t see what’s wrong with it.”
Sokka groaned as he made an irritated look on his face then took another bite out of one of the drumsticks. Sokka: “(muttering) At least the meat is still good.” Suki: “Can you believe it, you guys? The Jedi Council really trusts us.” Katara: “I know, it’s like we’re honorary members of the Republic.” Anakin: “Well, you did hear what Master Windu just said, we don’t really have a choice in the matter.” Toph: “At least he acknowledges that we’re the last hope against the Heartless threat.” Anakin: “Yeah, true.” Padme: “Well, I’m glad you guys are here; not only is there someone who can finally take care of this threat but more than that, I’m so glad to have met each and everything single one of you. You’re all such great people and you have so much to offer.” Anakin: “Except Sokka, that is.”
Sokka made another irritated look on his face. Obi-wan: “Well, I’d say this has been a very productive day. Not only did we have our first ever victory against the Heartless but I think making new friends was even more valuable, so I am also thankful to have each and every single one of you here.” Aang: “Thank you, Master Kenobi. We’re thankful to be here, too.”
Obi-wan smiled. Anakin looked over towards Aang and noticed his empty plate. Anakin: “Aang, aren’t you going to eat anything?” Aang:“Huh? Oh, uh…I don’t think there’s anything here for me.” Anakin: “What are you talking about? There’s a lot of food here. Padme’s personal chefs really went through a lot of trouble just to make all of this.” Aang: “Um…not to sound ungrateful or anything but isn’t there anything here that’s not meat?” Anakin: “You don’t…like meat?”
Aang shook his head. Katara: “Unlike Sokka, Aang’s a vegetarian. He doesn’t eat any meat of any kind.” Aang: “It’s part of my culture. The monks taught me to respect all life, so we never eat any kind of animal.” Anakin: “Oh, I think I understand.” Ahsoka: “Perhaps a healthy salad will best suit you?” Aang: “Uh, yeah, could you pass one over to me, please?” Ahsoka: “Sure.”
Ahsoka used her Force abilities and moved the salad closer to Aang. Aang: “Thanks, Ahsoka.” Ahsoka: “Anytime.”
Using his Airbending abilities, Aang created a cyclone in the salad bowl and transferred the salad on to his plate, then started eating it. Obi-wan: “Could anyone pass the biscuits over, wherever they are?”
Toph stomped the ground, launching the bread basket into the air, she held out her left hand as the basket landed into it then handed the basket over to Obi-wan. Toph: “Here you go.” Obi-wan: “Oh! Thank you, Toph.” Katara: “Who here would like to have some 5 flavored soup?”
Everyone sitting at the table raised their hands. Katara then bend the soup from a pot then divided and flung each portion into everyone’s bowls. Anakin: “I could get use to this.”
Padme then turned her attention towards Zuko. Padme: “Zuko, you seem awfully quiet. Care to tell us what’s on your mind?”
Zuko was silent for a bit. Zuko: “At least a year ago, I never would have thought that I would end up at a place like this, surrounded by so many good people. All I was ever fixated on then was finding the Avatar to reclaim my honor; my life hasn’t exactly been easy. For as long as I can remember, my father has always seen me as worthless, that I would never amount to anything because I could never live up to his expectations. He lost faith in me entirely and turned to my sister, Azula.” Toph: “Oh, yeah, her, she was a total psycho.” Padme: “Now, why would your father favor your sister over you?” Zuko: “She was a Firebending prodigy, she was as cold-blooded and ruthless as the rest of our nation; an ideal heir to the throne.” Sokka: “And a complete and total psycho.” Toph: “Uh, I just said that.” Sokka: “I know, but saying it once just isn't enough.” Toph: “Oh, right, OK, good point.” Zuko: “My father said she was born lucky, he said I was lucky to be born.”
Padme held her head down and shook it. Padme: “Oh, how disappointing.” Ahsoka: “Well, I’m lucky to have met you, Zuko. You’re a truly phenomenal person and your resilience is truly inspiring.” Obi-wan: “I agree with Ahsoka on this. You have excelled far beyond any expectations I had on you. All of you.” Zuko: “My strife has put me through so much, even beyond my breaking point but I never gave up, and now, I’m sitting right next the Avatar, being part of his group as one of his friends. The only thing that would have made this better is for me to have done this earlier. I’m really happy to be here with you guys.” Ahsoka: “And we’re glad to have you here.” Padme: “I second that.” Obi-wan: “Here, here.” Anakin: “Whoever your father was, he really missed out on how amazing you’ve become. You’ve earned my respect and whoever this Azula person is, I hope she had what was coming to her.” Padme: “So do I, she sounds like a horrible person.” Zuko: “More than that, but more to the point, I could have never asked for a better group of friends; the people whom I would be honored to call my real family. And here’s to you guys. Anakin, Obi-wan, Ahsoka, Padme.”
Jar Jar still made a ton of commotion next to Zuko. Zuko: “Oh, and uh…Jar Jar.”
Everyone laughed. Sokka: “You, know, I’d considered Jar Jar to be a better person than Azula.” Anakin: “Ditto!” Jar Jar: “Mesa food isa too cold.” Zuko: “Here, let me try something.”
Zuko took Jar Jar’s food; he then covered it with another plate. With his Firebending abilities, heated up the plates and warm up the food. He then handed it back to Jar Jar. Zuko: “Don’t touch the plate; it could be too hot.”
Jar Jar took one bite out of his food. Jar Jar: “Thisa really good! Yousa good cook!” Zuko: “Nah! I just reheated your food, that’s all.”
Padme raises her glass. Padme: “I would like to propose a toast to new friends and hopefully putting an end this Heartless threat, once and for all.” Obi- wan: “I’ll raise my glass to that.”
Everyone then raised their glasses and then dropped them back down. Katara: “If it’s alright with everyone, I would like to propose a toast of my own.”
Katara raised her glass again. Katara: “Here’s to Shmi Skywalker and the best thing that’s ever happened in her life: you, Anakin.” Anakin: “You really think so?”
Katara nodded. Anakin: “Well then, in that case…”
Anakin raised his glass. Anakin: “Here’s to Kya, wife, mother and hero of the Southern Water Tribe.”
He then held his glass closer to Katara. Anakin: “And to the last Waterbender of the Southern Water Tribe.”
Katara smiled at him and then banged her glass against his. The 2 of them smiled at each other. Padme: “It’s strange; we’ve just met you today and yet, I feel as though I’ve known you guys my whole life.” Toph: “So, what’s in store for us next?” Obi-wan: “Well, we plan on taking you around the planet and show you the basics of what our world is like.” Toph: “Really? You are?” Padme: “Sure but perhaps tomorrow. You guys have already done enough for today.” Suki: “Alright! I can’t wait till tomorrow! I’m so excited!” Aang: “I know! We get to learn so much about this galaxy and everything that this dimension has to offer.” Anakin: “Sure and judging by how you guys were with that automatic door, you kids have a lot to learn.” Suki: “Don’t worry about us, Master Skywalker; we can handle ourselves just fine.” Anakin: “Oh, it’s not you that I’m worried about, Suki; it’s your boyfriend over there.” Sokka: “Yeah, yeah, that’s great, could someone pass the barbecue sauce?”
Anakin tossed the barbecue sauce directly towards his face. Sokka: “Hey! I said pass the barbecue sauce, not throw it!” Anakin: “Sorry, I didn’t think you would recognize the difference.”
Sokka made another irritating look on his face. Padme: “Perhaps after we’re done with dinner, I could show these kids to their room?” Obi-wan: “Sure, that would sound great.”
