Known best for his work in causing highblood vehicles to explode, Awoole Fenrir is an expert mechanic and skilled blacksmith. While Awoole accepts work from all castes, he charges more to any highblood requesting services, while lowbloods receive discounts, and even free work.

Coffee maker broken? Buggy broke down? Your prosthetic isn’t moving as well as it used to? He’ll do it all, from welding to weapon crafting. He made the rifle used by his ex-kismet Anyaru Servus, from bone and metal.

A fierce protector of those he loves, even in death on Derse, he finds time and ways to help others. If you’re part of his pack, you’ll never have to worry again.

1 - What was the original thought that led to the creation of this character?

straight up he was a sacrificial lamb for siette and annie's stories in an rp i was in at the time LOL. he dies when siette manipulates annie into killing him and was originally just gonna be dead for real then, but i got attached and ended up making him a player for that session. i am not immune to revolutionary dogboy

6 - What was the thought process behind their appearance? Did you go mostly for the aesthetic or are there other reasons they look the way they do?

his current appearance is based on a more relaxed punk aesthetic with a bit of manual labor mixed in. the dog part was coincidental at first but i find it important to his personality a lot now with his pack mentality.

12 - Do you have a playlist for the character? What songs do you associate with them and why?

I get real into assigning characters songs so i'm gonna go into detail about some of my favs and why they relate to him under the cut :3

So, the easy to explain ones are ones that i consider battle themes for him; these are The Vengeance of Those Forgotten in Darkness and Chaos Assembly from the Omori soundtrack, The Filthy Mind from the Terraria Calamity mod, and bee_boss.ogg from the Haunted Chocolatier OST.

A really big song for him in my mind in regards to plot relevance for him is Sometimes by Nick Lutsko. i like to get into assigning the lyrics for them specifically so im gonna point some out and explain a little :3

Awoole was always destined to die and end up on Derse, as far as sburb was concerned. the way he gets there is by his kismet Annie, who he really truly thought could change, succumbing to her blind loyalty to Siette and killing him. She was a cerulean, so someone of a caste that he still thought he could trust to an extent, despite her moderate privilege over him.

The third line in this chorus doesnt quite apply to him so we'll ignore that. Awoole dies. my lovely sacrificial lamb that i don't point out as often. Once he walked into the door of his hive that night there was no way out other than dead.

This bit applies more to Annie in that scene than him but i'm gonna talk abt it anyways bc i wanna. Annie doesn't actually mean to kill him then; it's reflex for her. he charges her with an axe and her body moves faster than her mind. sometimes being an expert assassin fucks you over! and after this siette just discards her anyway. her loyalty meant nothing, and she was left alone.

After waking up on Derse he kinda realizes that half of what he did was just reckless destruction rather than anything tangible; he was just another cog in Alternia's wheel of destruction.

I have MAAANY others but i think i may have rambled too much already. god help us if anyone asks about siniix's songs i wont be able to stop myself

2 - How long was the process before the character reached its final version? (or a version that would be clearly recognizable as the character?)

Oh god it was a while. He had long curly hair at first but I don't remember when I initially gave him his haircut. and it was only when i put him on derse that i made his ears and tail black since they werent just prosthetics anymore... so at least a year? maybe 2. im happy with his design as is right now though

13 - Do you have a voice claim for the character? What do you imagine the character sounds like?

Yes! It's changed a few time but currently it's Aleks Le as Makoto Yuki in P3R. I've always imagined him speaking in a pretty low, monotone voice. He doesn't get loud often.

16 - Is there any memes or running jokes associated with the character, both in- and out of universe?

Hmmm... I think just being dead. he likes to joke about it in canon and I still think it's funny that I made him to die

20 - Bonus question: share any additional thoughts, art, favourite scenes, anything you've been waiting for a chance to ramble about

Oh god where do I start... I don't think I've talked abt his matesprit much here, but he had been dating a jade rainbow drinker before Siette um. kidnapped her and made him kill her. Her name was Esceia and she was a taxidermist but like. of trolls.

Him and Annie were kismets for a long time and he always believed that she'd eventually wake up to the fact that Siette didn't care about her. He was right; it's just that it took him dying for her to realize that. He never truly forgave her for that.

He takes a liking to flying really fast and he does laps on Derse when he's upset.

His land quest involved him leading an uprising in his land's factories. His land was also called the Land of Steel and Caves. Everyone works underground and it sucks!

His moirail is Knight, my partner's troll. His ancestor The Ironsoul knew her before she time traveled and so they've always had a bit of a connection. He did try to kill her when they first met though by getting her to get herself struck by lightning a bunch.

🌙 - What’s their sleep schedule like? 🤔 - What’s something they’ll never understand? 🖌️ - Do they have any hobbies? for Awoole? :0

🌙 - He stays up WAAAAYYY too late (early?) because he gets so distracted by his projects. Usually his lusus has to physically drag him away.

🤔 - Hmm... probably Annie, like, entirely. He thought he knew her but then she shot and killed him, so. He's really confused about her and can't understand why she stayed by Siette as long as she did.

🖌️ - He's my special craftsman boy so he's always working on something. When he was alive on Alternia pre-Annie-execution a lot of his time was spent working on repairs for people, usually prosthetics and vehicles. But he also made Annie's weapons for her after she supplied the parts. While he's on Derse he gets really into blacksmithing, but that's mainly because he doesn't have his normal workshop. Once he godtiers that guy is building anything anywhere whenever he wants.

Tell me about your wolf girls

i don't have any wolf girls (yet) but i do have a wolf boy!

awoole my beloved. he's on derse now after dying, but he worked as a mechanic on alternia when he was alive. renowned for his handiwork and speed in repairs, he got a lot of orders from highbloods. which he typically sabotaged. he's a bit of a revolutionary, you see

he loves his fellow lowbloods, though. he'd do free and discounted work for them, including prosthetics and building in accessibility features for people who needed them (like wheelchair ramps).

his lusii are a pack of direwolves, and the eldest is Mayhem, who fathered the others in the pack. awoole built a big autofeeder for the wolves that dispenses meat for them when he presses a button each night. he usually fed them steaks. used to brush all of them before bed too, which added so much time to his nightly routine
