📹 A video published by the Hamas Palestinian resistance movement states that yesterday's operation to recover four Israeli hostages held the resistance actually killed three other captives, including an American citizen.

"Your Israeli government killed a number of your captives in order to save other captives," a caption from the video details.

"After the massacre that your army committed in Nuseirat Camp yesterday to rescue 4 captives."

The message continues by stating that "in exchange for them, your own army killed 3 of your own captives in the same attack; one of them holds a USA citizenship."

"Your captives will not be released unless our prisoners are freed," the resistance group added, referring to thousands of prisoners being held by "Israel", including hundreds of Palestinian children from across Gaza and the occupied West Bank.

No one to look past his flaws and return the genuine love he had in his heart. Scary, threatening, creating feelings of unease: descriptions of him that deepened his insecurities and fears that affection and companionship would never find him.

Through the whipping snow that refused to let up, a soft glow appeared in the distance. Your guiding light brought him to the eye of the storm. Gale force winds were still whirling around him, and yet the blistering cold didn’t reach him, not while you looked at him like that. The adoration in your eyes, what did he do to deserve you? He dared not ask what you saw in him because he feared the answer, or lack thereof.

“Ivan,” you’d start. “It feels so nice holding each other like this.” You curled up closer to him by the fire, sighing with contentment.

He nuzzled his face against your hair and gently breathed in your scent—the calm to the storm he’d been waiting his entire life to find. Choosing to get carried away in the fluttering excitement of new love was easy when it was with you. Tender moments shared cuddling in bed and on the couch soothed his damaged heart more than you could have ever imagined.

With each day spent together, it became blatantly clear—the love he had for you wasn’t going away, not now not ever. Even when you were long gone, he knew this love would stay with him, withstanding the test of time.

“If I tell you I love you, can I keep you forever?” His violet eyes held onto yours. The expression he wore was that of a once broken man. Rejection having plagued him over many centuries, and being here with you reignited the embers of hope.

Although you let the question settle before responding, the soft smile in the absence of your words made the silence feel like a warm embrace. You shifted closer, lifting your hand to cup his cheek. “Of course you can. You can keep me for as long as you want.”

Leaning into your touch, he moved his face to kiss your palm. “You have no idea how happy you make me,” he murmured against your skin. He took your hands in his, the gentle fondness being accompanied by peppered kisses. “I’ll never stop making you feel loved, adored, cherished.”

“I know you won’t.” You leaned closer, brushing the tip of your nose against his. 

Your soft gestures made his heart beat only for you, creating an unfamiliar yet intense sense of need. The need to be wanted by you, to be your one and only, to have and to hold for as long as your mortality would allow.

“I wish it could always be like this.” That ache alluded to the pain he would eventually be forced to face. “But a part of me thinks that your love for me would fade like everything else good in my life.”

A break in your heart sounded in the room. You couldn’t believe he was harboring such a terrible fear. “But, I’ve seen your scars and still love you. I know your tendencies, but I’m still here holding you…as tightly as I can.”

He clung to you as if you would slip away at any moment. His breathing grew deeper to compensate for the flooding emotions and the threat of tears in his eyes. “I need you,” he mumbled nearly incoherently.

All you could do was hold him in a way only true love could, but that was the only thing he asked of you. A man who had been broken more times than imaginable, finding solace in his one true love’s arms acted as a balm to his soul.

“I love you.” The lovesick whimpers wettened your shirt, but you didn’t mind. You returned those three little words which were far from simple.

The weight of these words of devotion had you believing each one of them. You knew how true he would remain to you, so keeping them close to your heart was done without reservations. The years you shared and would share served as a mere glimmer of light in his lifetime, but it was a beacon that would illuminate his way through the darkest of times.

Oh the drama! I'm imaging that you're picturing after Integrity's death but before his own.

The entire underground would be much more tense. \

Ruins: The least affected of all the main areas. I'm not sure Clover would encounter Dalv at all, either being too scared or believing that they're Integrity haunting him.

Snowdin: There would be more guards and less friendly. Martlet would still be there, but she would be more hostile since she knows Kanako personally. She would call the guards (and attempt to call Chujin but he's busy).

Waterfall: If she does, Clover wouldn't be using the bluebird boat. They'd be hunted by Undyne. For the sake of UTY continuity, they dive in the river to escape them, getting swept out to the Dunes

Dunes/ Wild East: They seem to be safe here, at least until they get to town. Kanako would not be particularly friendly and neither would anyone who knew what she went through. Starlo, uncle extraordinaire, would capture Clover but they would worm their way into his cowboy shaped heart. While it's not as friendly as in canon, they do manage to send them on their way without alerting Kanako's parents or the guards once they learn Clover's harmless.

Steamworks: Chujin would finally find out here. He'd be terrified and after Clover for their soul, becoming the main antagonist from here on out. Since the Steamworks are an actual functioning place of work at this time, there would be other employees and more robots.

Hotland: Clover passes through relatively uneventfully. They do not meet Alphys but are still being chased by Axis.

New Home: They either give up their soul to Axis peacefully or kill the robot and fight Asgore and then Flowey.

It's actually crazy talking to friends and relatives about what's going on because very few of them know that this is a retaliatory attack. I keep seeing people online call the attack unprovoked too.

So those who don't know, on April 1st Israeli warplanes bombed Iran's consulate in Damascus. The attack killed 7 of Iran’s military advisers including 3 senior commanders.

Reuters reporters at the site in the Mezzeh district of Damascus saw emergency workers clambering atop rubble of a destroyed building inside the diplomatic compound, adjacent to the main Iranian embassy building. Emergency vehicles were parked outside. An Iranian flag hung from a pole by the debris.

Iran's ambassador to Syria said the strike hit a consular building in the embassy compound and that his residence was on the top two floors. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said in a statement that seven Iranian military advisers died in the strike including Mohammad Reza Zahedi, a senior commander in its Quds Force, which is an elite foreign espionage and paramilitary arm.

This attack on the embassy is against international law. Embassies are protected sites. But instead of condemning the attack and putting pressure on Israel, the US has spent the past week and a half calling West Asian countries to put pressure on Iran, with Biden going as far as to warn Iran not to attack Israel and saying that his support for Israel is 'iron clad'.

The West, the UN, and UN Security Council have largely failed to condemn the attack which means Iran has no choice but to retaliate with force in order to prevent future attacks. Otherwise, the country will look vulnerable and weak, especially to the Israeli occupation government which has spent months bombing neighbouring countries like Syria and Lebanon

ISRAELI OCCUPATION ARMY BOMBS TARGETS OUTSIDE OF DAMASCUS IN LATEST ZIONIST ATTACKS AGAINST SYRIA

📹 Scenes of large explosions resulting from the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) air and missile strikes targeting the outskirts of the Syrian capital of Damascus overnight.

According to a report in the official Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), at least two civilians were wounded after Zionist aggression targeted a number of sites on the outskirts of Damascus.

“At approximately 21:30 p.m. on Sunday, the Israeli enemy launched an aerial aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a number of points in the vicinity of Damascus,” a military source is quoted as saying to reporters with SANA.

“The Israeli aggression resulted in the injury of two civilians and some material losses," the source added.

Sitting on the couch watching the last of your movie marathon, the leading actress made the same mistake as all the others in the previous ones.

“Oh, I can’t believe it!” You mocked the trope. “It was you! It was you all along!” You planted your hands over your chest to mimic the cliché lovestruck look they all had.

“Now we can live happily ever after! Or at least until the credits roll.”

You joined in laughing at the predictability. It hadn’t been like this for quite some time—joking and simply enjoying each other’s company. Your new job kept your nose to the grindstone, admittedly turning you into someone you never thought you would be.

As the laughs settled, you played with the fringe of your sweater. Tugging at the loose string gently, you started talking without really thinking. “The endings are kinda cute though, even if they are overdone.”

“Maybe, yeah.” He gripped his jeans at the feeling of tightness in his chest. The silence was deafening. The only sound was the pounding of his heart, making it impossible to be fully present in the conversation.

“If I tell you I love you, can I keep you forever?” The unexpected question left him dumbfounded. For once he was left speechless, and the longer you looked at him, the drier his mouth got. Your face burned as embarrassment set in. The lost expression he was giving you had you quickly back tracking. “Sorry, I don’t know why I said that… It was stupid, just forget it.”

The swelling of tears stung your eyes. Even though you attempted to hold them back, they were relentless. You turned away, fearing you were on the verge of crying in front of him. Your hands tightly gripped at your pant legs as you struggled to pull yourself together.

“Hey… Hey! You didn’t even give me a chance to respond.” The half laugh cracked the tension.

“Silence is also an answer, you know.” You couldn’t help the little sniffle you made.

“Y-Yeah… Yeah, I know.” Hesitantly, he rested his hand on your back. When you side-eyed him, he was prepared for you to tear into him about how inattentive he was, how unserious he was, but you didn’t. You allowed him to comfort you in a way he knew how. Gently rubbing your back, he scooched closer to you. “I just wasn’t expecting you to say something like that to me.”

“What do you mean?”

He thought for a moment, trying to collect his fears on how he believed you saw him. “We’re just different is all.”

Those words sunk in. You turned towards him and asked, “Different, how exactly?” You were expecting him to pull out the immortality card.

He took his hand off of you and twiddled with his thumbs. “I don’t mean like that. I just didn’t think you found my personality attractive.” The wince on his face when he said that gave away his own forms of insecurities, ones which you had been left in the dark about.

“Do you really think I’m so stuck up that I wouldn’t be able to love someone like you?” The half joke got him to crack a smile. 

“You know what I mean!”

“I do and you know what? I don’t care. I don’t care if you think I can’t love you, because I do anyway, and you can’t stop me.” Your matter of fact attitude got him chuckling again.

“You can be such a brat.” He teased, while poking your most ticklish spot. The onset of shared laughter as you got your revenge on him started to settle. With huffs and sincere smiles, he looked at you with acceptance in his eyes. “I love you too.”

That familiar heat returned to your face, but with it the quickening of your heart was from the exciting nerves of a new romance. Your eyes naturally fell to his lips, leading his to do the same. Slowly and tenderly, you leaned in for him to press the first kiss of many.
