I walked the red carpet in Hollywood last night for the premiere of Identiteze, the new scifi film from Jessie Earl - and you can see it exclusively on Nebula, blah blah blah okay but this is tumblr and this is where you get the real shit so lemme tell ya

I lost my red carpet shoes. I realised literally 3 hours before the actual premiere that I had misplaced them somewhere in LA, probably when I wore them for the DEX wrap party, so the only options I had were my vans or these

so I decided "Fuck it, nobody's gonna see my feet anyway - let's just be huge!" And that's why in all the group shots I am approximately nineteen stories tall!

my desk being in the middle of the room instead of near any walls hasn't been tooooo much of an issue because my UPS has a long enough cord to reach my desk and i just plug everything into that. HOWEVER. you're not supposed to plug heated blankets into the UPS. and that is proving to be an issue i had not foreseen.

Yesterday my sister asked me to look after my nephew while she had an appointment because my brother in law is away helping his mum recover after she had a heart attack. I say, “No problem”

All I had to do was wait for him to wake up from his nap, give him lunch then entertain him until she comes home. Easy.

He woke up from his nap because my sister’s dog barked at my own car parked in the driveway. Still, I am unbothered, this is what I’ve trained for. I get my nephew up, I give him the new little people Disney Princess toys I purchased for him to play with while I heat up his sausage rolls and his little blueberry muffin, and chop his strawberries. This is all going well, I’m patting myself on the back, he loves his new toys. I then realise when I go to put him in his high chair that even though I checked after his nap: his nappy needs changed. This still does not bother me.

Can you tell the exact moment from my Oura ring data when I walked back into the kitchen and realised that while I was changing my nephew: My sister’s dog ate his lunch? 😂😂😂😂

Thinking about aroace Alastor in a relationship with Lucifer and some specific hurdles they'd face.

Lucifer having to deal with the fact that Alastor is just never going to love or want him in the traditional romantic/sexual sense, never in quite the same way Lucifer loves and wants him. And it's not that he didn't know Alastor is aroace going in, nor that he thought that he could change Alastor - but it's one thing to know something in theory and another to know it in practice. He didn't realize that once he was in this that a part of him would pipe up and say, "Oh hey. It kind of feels like I'm more invested in this relationship than the other person is. Again."

Alastor having to deal with the fact that a part of Lucifer is always going to miss what he had with Lilith, because you don't just forget falling to Hell with someone and then creating a family and home - a kingdom - with them. The grief of losing them stays. For his part, Alastor would be happy forgetting Lilith ever existed, but it would be unfair to ask Lucifer to cast aside those thousands of years (thousands of years that will always belong to someone else). Worse, he knows it would be unfair, and it rankles. It feels like losing a competition he didn't realize he'd entered.

Both of them feeling inadequate, wondering what it would take for them to be enough, to feel like they're enough. Both of them wondering why they can't be satisfied with what they have; feeling petty and stupid and small for wanting more than the other can give.
