Back by (alarmingly) popular demand; Nightmare!!

And Dream’s debut!

I wanted these two to be pretty distinct from both their canon and fanon depictions. As such, they are both HORRIBLE guardians of their respective trait.

Genuinely, if it weren’t for the aura they carry and how positivity and negativity affect them, their roles might as well be reversed.

Dream tends to distance himself from those he loves leading him to be a very absent, emotionally and literally, caretaker for Palette. He’s always on the go. Needing to be everywhere at once. Helping as many people as possible. All to his own detriment.

Nightmare likes to put up a grumpy, narcissistic, and downright evil front, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. He would never admit it but he adores his gang. Though, other than those three he’s completely isolated.

Oh also!

Nightmare has largely overcome his curse. Don’t get me wrong, he still has a ton of left over resentment and wants to inflict the same pain he received, but he’s still himself. Dream, however, is not convinced. He wholeheartedly believes his brother died that day and has completely given up hope on “curing” him.

Extra notes:

Dream’s pendant works the same as Palette’s little wish balls except his are for hopes and dreams.

Nightmare’s moon necklace is all that’s left of his crown.

It’s been a week from the Oscars and for some very interesting reason (it’s giving racism) nosferatu stans on twitter keep dogpiling on Paul Tazewell that he didn’t deserve to win over nosferatu. just because of some historical clothes you could’ve gotten from a museum, when he created a whole warehouse of clothing for every Ozian in Wicked. Each different and full of personality, woven with incredible historical references to the land of Oz, intricately beaded and meticulously stitched. All with the help of an incredible team he put together to bring wicked alive on screen.

I’m sorry (not really) but nosferatu lost cinematography (the one award imo it truly deserved) to the brutalist which used AI to generate buildings in a movie about architecture, but the first Black man to win costume design in Oscars history is the problem for y’all? 🥴

I care very little how historically accurate the costumes were in nosferatu, which frankly is the bare minimum these days, when it doesn’t compare in any shape or form to the scale and creativity of Paul’s work. Thinking that that award was going to anyone else but him is crazy. None of the other nominees compared.

And I don’t care if you don’t like wicked but dismissing how incredible his work was for the movie is disrespectful and ridiculous.

Is it just me, or should every single man on the planet be required to watch the tumblr sexyman contest?

Not because they get to have any say, no, they don’t get to influence the contest until after they’ve learned their lesson.

I think it’s complete BS when a man says nobody likes unattractive men. These men, clearly, aren’t on tumblr. The sexiest tumblr men are ranked by how unattractive they are. Being too sexy is a flaw!

These men would not complain if they found out that not only did Sans!Undertale tumblrsexyman so hard he killed the queen, but STAN PINES tumblr sexymanned so hard he killed the pope! The latter is especially relevant when you remember HIS TWIN BROTHER (the canonically hot one) was in the competition!

Wheatley and Bill Cipher were in these competitions. Wheatley and Bill Cipher are tumblr sexyman! If people can be attracted to triangles and spheres, they can be attracted to whatever the hell you look like.

There are two kinds of Tumblr sexymen.

1) the saint, who is just a nice guy, and it’s difficult not to love them. Sans!Undertale, Dr. Doofenshmirtz, and Stan Pines, for example, are really good dudes who care very deeply about their families. They’ve got flaws, but they’re good people! People love them despite the fact that they’re conventionally unattractive! You don’t have to be perfect, just don’t be an asshole! Or, you could be the second option.

2) “I can fix him.” You don’t have to be pretty, you don’t have to be nice, you have to be just interesting enough to make people want to be around you. Bill Cipher, Wheatley, Slenderman, etc. I would argue MOST tumblr sexymen are assholes AND ugly, but they have very engaging personalities or backstories that people enjoy!

This means that if nobody wants to date you, it’s probably not because you’re ugly. It might not even be because you’re a douchebag. It’s because you’re a BORING douchebag.

In conclusion we should add an amendment to the constitution requiring all men from grades 9-12 to study the tumblr sexyman competition and reflect on why people love these men so much and how it impacts their social life.

while I don’t advocate for people talking about lestappen in romantic/shipping terms or being weird to the drivers or anyone else about it, I think we need to remember that max verstappen just won a best couple award with his teammate and parades it around proudly and gleefully. RBR absolutely briefed him on duo/ship names and the mixed connotations of using them before they started posting them on socials. I don’t think it’s realistic to pretend like max either doesn’t know or will never know that people ship him with charles (and the whole ass grid and more), and I don’t think one lestappen mention in front of him in the stream has unduly rocked the foundations of his world. it’s not that big a deal.

he knows. that’s okay. it’s the fandom’s job to not be weird about it, because he doesn’t need to know anything beyond that it exists. so business as usual!

i feel like sometimes people treat Dimension 20 as a normal TV show, and not as a improvisational show. like it's an 100% scripted, written show, that 100% of what is said has a deep, intentional, serious reflection of who the cast are as people

like yea, analysis and breaking things down is hella fun, fascinating and engaging. but it baffles me when people assume things about the players themselves as people, from something they said in the heat of the moment, or as a joke

yes, i know that doesn't mean we can't criticize the things people say, bc implicit bias and blah blah blah- but i genuinely think people's attempt to turn every little thing someone did or said into a big bout of discourse is just so genuinely exhausting

okay since a single person asked here is what i did for the girl i took care of like a girlfriend when she had a cold / her allergies were acting up despite us not being girlfriends (please note that this was all consensual & we had multiple discussions about boundaries):

this would happen when she was over at my house. we’d be watching something on my computer, sitting in my bed. she would be laying between my legs & her head was usually on my chest or shoulder. she got sick a lot & she was a very shy sick person. same with her allergies. at the beginning of our friendship, she’d stand up & get of my bed when she coughed, but i told her that she didn’t have to & would often pull her close to my chest during her coughing fits. she also used to get up to sneeze but i told her that she didn’t have to get up to sneeze & could stay where she was. i could always tell when she was about to sneeze & so i’d ask if she had to & would grab the tissue box if it wasn’t already on my bed. i’d hold her close as she sneezed, bless her, & hand her tissues. i usually kissed her head, neck, or cheek after she sneezed. she would always get up & go to the other side of my room by my trash can when she blew her nose. i think i was able to get her to blow her nose in bed once or twice or just standing by me before waking over to my trash can. it was all incredibly endearing & being able to look after her when she wasn’t feeling well in that way made my heart soar

i usually caught her colds after (go figure) & i’d tease her about it which always made her blush. the reason why she was so shy about being sick is because she didn’t want me to catch it, so i told her all the time that i didn’t care if i caught it, i just wanted her to feel better
