THEY’RE SO CUTE OH MY GOD. LOOK AT THE, THE THEM LOOOKKKKK
My intrusive thoughts are wholesome
Some peoples thoughts lead to mischief. Mine? Mostly consist of wondering how characters look when they're little children. and more often than not how cute they are. Like I often picture Staghorn Coral Cookie as this spikey little street urchin, one who is likely to steal your stuff and bite your ankles but Blue Coral Cookie? I just imagine him as a skinny little blue Dandelion gone to seed. Hides behind Staggy even though he's a head taller he's just not used to this Big Wide World and he needs his pseudo-sibling to lead the charge and it's TOO CUTE.

This is really beautiful ❤️😍❤️😍❤️😍
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Old and not so old fan arts I made of pink and blue characters.
I know that many more characters were missing but I only drew the ones I liked the most just because.

Barbatos x Reader: March Prompt/Day 23 Tulip
Prompt list/available prompt requests here, making a fic everyday of march
Tumblr media
This was new. Normally when you were expected at the Demon Lord’s Castle the head butler would greet you at the gate or front doors, yet today, the moment he spotted you from that metal archway he made his way over. Though he only walked with long strides he was soon by your side.
“Huh, someone’s excited today!”
“Was it so obvious?” He still appeared his usual, calm self, yet actions still betrayed him. It always caught you off guard how adorable the man could be at times.
… with such a cheerful mood maybe you could be a little silly, after all opportunities like this were rarer. Though you and Barbatos were in a relationship he was technically always on the job, and though he was more family than employee to Diavolo, at times you worried about… crossing the line so to say. Acting too casual with him when he still needed to be professional and had work to do. Even after so long it was a balance the pair of you were still trying to figure out.
But perhaps today…
Linking your arm with his you pulled him close. Barbatos was stiff at first but quickly took your lead curling his arm around your own.
His pace slowed considerably, perfectly keeping in tempo with you as you strolled your way too the castle.
And all too soon you had arrived at your destination. “That’s odd. I thought Luke would have started placing desserts here by now.” Pulling out a chair he had you take a seat. “I’ll be back in a moment.” With that he was off.
It didn’t take long for them to return. “MC!” Cheerfully the little angel ran to you plate of treats in hand, Barbatos not far behind holding a tea set. Luke was practically bouncing, unable to contain his energy as he placed the sweets on the table before he ran off again. You couldn’t help the smile that drew on your lips hearing Barbatos’ soft chuckle though he watched Luke with a slightly perplexed expression.
Luke returned a moment later, with a vase filled with tulips, placed to the side it brought a nice bright pop of color to the table. “Sorry for making you wait! One of the piping bags broke and it made a mess then I couldn’t find any more.”
“The fault is mine. Accidents are always possible and I didn’t place any extra out.”
These two, honestly. “It’s no one’s fault. And I don’t mind. I’ll wait however long it takes for your desserts.”
You took a moment to really take in the delicacies. Blond cookies and little yellow cakes. “So… what’s so special about these that’s gotten you both so excited?”
“We’ve been experimenting with human world ingredients.” Barbatos poured you a cup, but that smell. It wasn’t bad, but different.
“Did you experiment with the tea as well?”
“Indeed.”
“MC, you have to tell us everything you think about them.” Luke took the seat across from you, something about the way he looked to you with those big blue eyes seemed nervous.
“Hmm?”
And that single hum was all it took for Luke to elaborate. “When I go back home it’ll be Michael’s birthday and I want to surprise him with a new kind of dessert and tea!”
“Ooh. Then I’ll give you a review worthy for a world class food critic.”
Though Barbatos kept his usual demeanor it felt his gaze bore into you while Luke was just about to lean over the table and accidentally knock it over by putting too much weight on it.
“… They all seem mild, like, the sponge, the texture for everything is great, but the taste… Well… do you want the new thing to be the highlight?”
The demon and angel looked to one another as if they needed to aske themselves the question. Seemed once they incorporated the ingredient they tried making the dish taste as best it could, possibly losing it some in the shuffle.
“What did you add anyway?”
“Tulips.”
… Maybe there was a reason you never heard of the flower being used in cooking before. “It’s definitely not the star, I notice the vanilla more, however there definitely something new there, I notice it… on the back of the tongue I guess? It’s more in the background but really brings out the other flavors like the lemon.”
The angel looked to the treats a bit disappointed but with your words in mind he and Barbatos got their own to try. Very quickly the mood brightened, humming in delight at the taste, conversations turning to the days ahead, things to get, planning your next taste testing and such.
Before any of you knew it Simeon had arrived to escort Luke back, the poor boy apologizing for keeping Simeon waiting and for leaving the clean up to you and Barbatos. You didn’t mind, just meant more time with the demon.
“And what gotten you so excited? You seemed awfully bubbly during tea.” Barbatos had placed the last dish on the drying rack before turning to you.
“Well… you seemed more bubbly yourself, and…”
“And?” He broke eye contact, instead his gaze shifting to the vase of tulips that the pair of you brought in with the dishes. He picked a yellow one. at the angle he held it, it completely hid his mouth. The color did really bring out the subtle, eerie gold shimmer of his eyes.
“… you seemed less butlery today. For a moment my mind imagined us as some generic human idea of a family, with a pair of spouses and their child sharing dinner. It was sweet in a way.” His eyes were back to you, something about his gaze felt sharp.
“Certainly, Simeon would have something to say about Luke being ours in such a way.” He placed the flower back, “Cookies and cake wouldn’t make for a suitable dinner.” Then took the vase, holding it close to his chest, “Although, perhaps we could do something about that other part of your daydream.” And he held the vase out to you.
“Wh-”
“These were meant to be a present for you. I suppose since I left them in the kitchen Luke took them for decoration.”
“Hold on, wait up! Go back to that other thing!”
“What other thing?”
THAT STUPID POLITE SMILE WITH THE CLOSED EYES! “You are not just skipping over that Barbatos!”
Gently the glass was pressed into your hands. “I did much research on tulips, not just if any properties in them could be harmful. The cultural meaning behind ingredients can hold a lot of weight and impact how someone were to experience a dish. I came to learn tulips can mean true and deep love. Fitting for a gift from a young one to someone they so admire, but did you know they can also be used for confessions?”
… “Barbatos.”
He leaned around the flowers, lips brushing your ear, hands on your hips. “Soon. I just need to wait for a couple wrinkles to be smoothed out…” His arms wrapped around you, pulling you close. “But not soon enough, I can’t even wait for you to get to the gate anymore.”

Through Law's eyes (Chapter 4)
Tumblr media
@GOKUJOUNOMAGURO
WC: 2,993 | Law x y/n, afab!reader | continuation of "We should talk" A/N: My attempt of writing a first person perspective, Law's POV, reminiscing the days before that one fateful day. It's been about three years now since she became part of our crew. I remember the day she barged into our lives like a storm, all fierce determination, and pleading eyes. We'd just finished a mission on one of the islands in the North Blue, and she'd been instrumental in our success.
But when she asked to join us, I wasn't exactly jumping at the chance. See, it's not that I had anything against her personally—it's just that taking on new crew members is a big decision. Let alone another woman, aside from Ikkaku, to join the crew.
But as Penguin—bless his chatty soul—filled me in on her background, I started to see things differently. Turns out, she wasn't just some runaway trying to escape a bad situation. She had skills—mad skills. Not only was she handy with medicine, but she knew her way around basic mechanics too. That's the kind of resourcefulness you can't ignore on the Grand Line.
Penguin had spent some time with her while we were sorting out the aftermath of our mission. He couldn't stop talking about her, which, coming from him, was saying something. But the more he told me, the more I realized that she belonged with us. She wasn't just looking for a way out—she was looking for a purpose. And maybe, just maybe, we could give her that.
So, despite my initial reservations, I welcomed her aboard.
At first, she struggled with sea sickness, poor thing. But she didn't let it keep her down for long. Despite her initial queasiness, she threw herself into life aboard the Polar Tang with all the gusto of a seasoned sailor. She had this tomboyish vibe about her, fitting right in with the rough-and-tumble atmosphere of our crew.
Watching her adjust was like seeing a flower bloom in the midst of a storm. Day by day, she grew more accustomed to the rhythms of life at sea. And when she finally donned that crisp, white overall suit—the same one worn by the rest of the Heart Pirates—it was like she'd always been one of us. The crew welcomed her with open arms, and she fit in seamlessly.
I often caught glimpses of her shadowing Penguin, Shachi, and Bepo, soaking up their knowledge like a sponge. They took her under their wing, showing her the ropes of ship life, teaching her the ins and outs of the Polar Tang. They made sure she knew the rules I'd laid down, and they filled her in on all the little tricks and quirks of submarine living. And you know what? She took it all in stride, like it was second nature to her.
As they reported her progress to me, I couldn't help but be impressed. She was a quick learner, picking up skills that took others years to master. And every time I nodded in approval, it was like giving her a silent pat on the back. She was proving herself, not just to me, but to the whole crew.
                                              XXXX
I remember that moment vividly, like it was yesterday. I was making my rounds through the submarine when I noticed a faint glow emanating from beneath the door of my office. Curiosity piqued, I approached quietly and peeked through the small window. There she was, surrounded by a sea of medical books, completely engrossed in their pages. Her expression was a mix of fascination and concentration, her lips forming silent words as she absorbed the knowledge within those worn pages.
I knocked softly, not wanting to startle her, and she jumped, clearly caught off guard. As I entered, she stood up quickly, blinking rapidly as if she'd been caught with her hand in the cookie jar.
"I'm sorry. I know I shouldn't be touching these," she apologized, her voice tinged with guilt.
But I shook my head, a smile tugging at the corners of my lips. "No problem at all. You're welcome to borrow them anytime."
Her face lit up like a child on Christmas morning, and she grinned at me eagerly. "I also brought some medical books with me when I came aboard the sub. Can I keep them here?" she asked, gesturing to the stack of books she'd brought with her.
I nodded, touched by her enthusiasm. It wasn't every day that someone showed such genuine interest in expanding their knowledge.
And so, our impromptu study sessions began. It was the only time we were truly alone together, just the two of us surrounded by the wealth of knowledge contained within those walls. And as we poured over the books, exchanging insights and ideas, I couldn't help but feel a sense of closeness growing between us. She wasn't just a member of my crew—she was a kindred spirit, hungry for knowledge and eager to learn.
This isn’t something we do on a regular basis. During those rare moments when our duties aligned and we found ourselves in the same room, engrossed in our respective books, I couldn't help but steal glances at her. There was something mesmerizing about the way she immersed herself in her reading, her brow furrowed in concentration, her lips moving silently as she absorbed the words on the page.
One particular night stands out in my memory. We were seated across from each other, the soft glow of the lamplight casting gentle shadows across her features. As I lifted my gaze from the text in front of me, I found myself studying her with a newfound curiosity. Her long lashes brushed against her cheeks with each blink, and her eyes darted back and forth across the pages, devouring every word. My gaze trailed down to the delicate curve of her nose, and then lingered on her lips—soft and full, like petals begging to be kissed.
I shook my head, trying to dispel the sudden wave of distraction that washed over me. I couldn't afford to get lost in thoughts of her—not when there were duties to attend to, and a ship to command. But despite my best efforts to focus on my reading, my mind kept drifting back to her, like a ship caught in an irresistible current.
What are you doing? I chided myself silently, forcing my attention back. I couldn't afford to let myself be distracted—not by her, or by anything else. But as I stole one last glance at her, her beauty illuminated by the soft glow of the lamplight, I couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to reach out and touch her, to feel the warmth of her skin beneath my fingertips.
But such thoughts were dangerous, I reminded myself sternly. We were pirates, after all—outlaws on the high seas. And as much as I might have wanted to, I couldn't allow myself to get too close. Not when the stakes were so high, and the dangers so real. So, with a sigh, I forced myself to turn back to my book, pushing aside the tantalizing thoughts that threatened to consume me. But deep down, I knew that no matter how hard I tried to resist, she had already captured a piece of my heart.
That moment of distraction was like a brief flicker of light in the darkness—a glimmer of something I hadn't felt in ages. But I knew better than to let it take root. Emotions were a dangerous thing for a pirate, especially someone in my position. So, I buried those feelings deep down, resolved to concentrate on the current task.
                                               XXXX
I threw myself into my duties with a renewed vigor, strategizing and planning with a single-minded intensity. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months, and before I knew it, a year had slipped by like sand through my fingers. We had crossed into the treacherous waters of the Grand Line, where danger lurked around every corner and the ocean itself seemed to rise up against us.
In the depths of the Grand Line, the challenges we faced were unlike anything we'd encountered before. The sea monsters were larger, fiercer, and more relentless than those of the North Blue. Every day was a battle for survival, as we navigated through storms and dodged the attacks of creatures that seemed intent on tearing our ship apart.
But despite the dangers, I found solace in the chaos. In the midst of battle, there was no room for distraction or doubt. Every decision had to be made with precision and clarity, every move calculated to ensure our survival. And as the captain of the Heart Pirates, it was my responsibility to lead my crew through the storm and into calmer waters.
So, I pushed aside any lingering thoughts of her. There would be time for reflection later, when the seas were calm and the danger had passed. But for now, my only concern was keeping my crew safe and steering our ship toward our next destination in the unpredictable waters of the Grand Line.
                                           XXXX
It was on one such stop at an island that another incident unfolded. As I stood by the dock, mulling over our next course of action, she came bounding towards me, her fiery determination evident in every step.
I couldn't help but let out a sigh as she stood there, her lips set in a determined pout. This wasn't the first time we'd had this argument, and I had a sinking feeling it wouldn't be the last. She was stubborn, that much was clear, and when she set her mind to something, there was no stopping her.
But as much as her defiance grated on my nerves, I couldn't deny that there was something undeniably endearing about her fiery spirit. Even when she was being a brat, there was a spark in her eyes that I couldn't help but admire.
I pinched the bridge of my nose, trying to quell the rising frustration within me. "Fine, have it your way," I relented, knowing that arguing any further would be futile. "But on one condition."
Her eyes lit up with curiosity as she leaned in, waiting for my terms. "What is it?" she asked eagerly.
"If you're able to land even a small cut on me anywhere on my body, I'll let you join Penguin and the others in their sparring," I replied, a smirk tugging at the corners of my lips.
I told her that she’s supposed to be a support and not someone who fights on the frontline.
Her expression faltered for a moment, a hint of doubt flickering across her features. "That's not fair! You're way stronger than me!" she protested; her frustration evident.
I shrugged nonchalantly, not about to back down. "Then give up, easy as that," I teased, hoping to quell her whining once and for all.
But instead of conceding defeat, she squared her shoulders and met my gaze head-on. "Let me practice first," she declared, her determination shining through.
And in that moment, I knew there was no stopping her. Whether I liked it or not, she was going to find a way to prove herself, even if it meant facing off against me, her captain, in a battle of wills. And as much as I tried to resist, I couldn't help but feel a surge of pride swell within me at the sight of her unwavering determination. She may have been a handful, but she was my crewmate, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
As the crew gathered on the shore, forming a circle around us, I couldn't help but feel a surge of anticipation coursing through my veins. The air was charged with excitement, and I tightened my grip on Kikoku, its weight resting comfortably on my shoulder, while the other hand remained tucked inside my pocket.  Beside me stood <y/n>, a few inches away, her movements fluid as she stretched her arms, cracked her knuckles, and warmed up her legs. The intensity in her eyes was unmistakable; she was dead serious about this.
"You can still back out if you want to," I offered, my voice laced with a hint of warning.
"Why? Are you scared of me?" she shot back, her voice laced with playful defiance.
A chorus of cheers erupted from the crew, egging us on as we prepared to face off. I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at her cockiness, unsure where her newfound confidence was coming from.
"What's going on?" Shachi whispered to Penguin, his curiosity evident.
"It appears that the two had a deal, something like that," Penguin replied, his arms crossed as he observed the scene. He had assisted her briefly in honing her swordsmanship skills.
As we squared off, I caught Shachi and Penguin exchanging whispered words, their expressions a mix of concern and curiosity. They knew something was up, but they trusted me enough to let things play out.
"Just to let you know, I won't hold back. You wanted this after all," I warned her, my grip tightening around my sword as I began to unsheathe it slowly. Truth be told, I was bluffing. Landing a small bruise on her would be sufficient—I had no desire for her to harbor any ill will towards me. But perhaps teaching her a lesson was necessary.
For a moment, hesitation flickered in her eyes as she tightened her grip on her own sword but then she squared her shoulders and advanced towards me. It was easy for me to anticipate her moves, to parry her attacks effortlessly. Despite her lack of experience, she wielded her sword with conviction, her determination evident with each swing. But there was something different about her—something unexpected.
"I thought you're not going to hold back? Why are you on the defensive?" she taunted, her words ringing in the air.
I couldn't help but smirk at her audacity. With a swift movement, I vanished from her line of sight, only to reappear behind her, ready to strike. But to my surprise, she anticipated my move, twisting her body to block my attack with her sword.
Her movements were fluid and precise, as if she could see right through me. And when I attacked again, she parried effortlessly, her eyes locked on mine with a steely determination. Testing my theory, I attacked from a different angle, only for her to evade once more.
"Since when did you know you could use Observation Haki?" I asked, taken aback by her newfound skill.
"I wasn't sure," she admitted, panting slightly from exertion. "I started seeing things differently."
She was full of surprises, that much was clear. But even as we continued to clash, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more to her than met the eye.
"The deal is still on though," I reminded her, my voice firm.
"I won't back down," she replied
She may have been a novice, but she had the heart of a warrior, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of respect for her in that moment.
As our sparring continued, I couldn't help but admire her tenacity and marvel her progress. Despite her initial hesitations, she was adapting quickly, her movements becoming more fluid and precise with each exchange. The cheers of the crew egged us on, fueling the fire that burned between us.
But as the minutes dragged on, I found myself growing weary of the fight. With a final swing of my sword, I sent her weapon flying, causing her to lose her balance. Her eyes squeezed shut in anticipation of the fall, but before she could hit the ground, I acted on instinct, hooking my arm around her to steady her. Our eyes locked in a moment of shared intensity, breaths ragged, chests rising and falling in unison. I could feel the warmth of her hand against my chest, the beads of sweat glistening on our foreheads.
For a brief moment, time seemed to stand still, the world around us fading into the background as we stood locked in that intimate embrace. But the sound of applause from the crew jolted me back to reality, and I quickly helped her to her feet, trying to ignore the strange fluttering in my chest.
Retrieving my sword and sheathing it once more, I took a moment to catch my breath, removing my fur hat to run a hand through my hair. But before I could even gather my thoughts, she was already asking about joining the others in their sparring sessions.
"You didn't land a scar anywhere on me. So, it's still a no," I replied firmly, my tone leaving no room for argument.
Her face fell instantly, her lips forming again to a pout that I couldn't help but find endearing. But I refused to let myself give in to her charms—not now, not ever.
"Rules are rules. You know that" I reminded her, furrowing my brows in a gesture that I hoped conveyed my seriousness.
But she wasn't about to give up so easily. Grabbing my arms, she examined them closely, searching for any sign of injury. She squeezed my hand firmly, her touch sending a jolt of electricity through me. Then, she cupped my face in her hands, her touch gentle yet probing. She moved my head from side to side, inspecting me for any hidden injuries, her eyes scanning my features with unwavering focus. I stiffened under her touch, caught off guard by her sudden gesture. A whirlwind of conflicting emotions swirling within me.
"Stop that," I scolded lightly, trying to mask the way her touch affected me.
With a resigned sigh, I watched as the crew began to make their way back to the submarine. But even as we parted ways, I couldn't shake the feeling that this was only the beginning of something much bigger—something that would change us both in ways we couldn't even begin to imagine.

Yea!!! Can you tell I have favorites lol
Tumblr media
so since it's the 20th in my time, it is officially my birthday today!
But I wanted to get this out regardless so kinda count it as the previous day's ig
I will be posting something later today probably but it will most likely just be a compilation of all the cakes I've done thus far.
Ok but um on with the cake!
It's like a cheesecake and I basically copied Tengen's cake with like a jelly filling with fruit suspended in it, peaches (obviously), strawberries and blueberries cause I like them and sod it I'll put them on this goddamn cake!
The thing Wukong's sitting on is one of those peach ice creams that's gotten so popular lately with the sprinkle of pink dust thingy on top.
On either side of the cake is the fillet from the journey and the hat from the brotherhood era, one from his reckless past and one from his redemption and I just think that's neat.
The blue puffy stuff is meant to be his nimbus clouds represented as cotton candy.
I have the baiju jar in there as reference to Wukong becoming immortal again due to the all the wine made from the peaches of immortality at the festival.
The staff as a little candle was so fun! And I like pocky so I chucked them on there to fill space and it looks good so sue me
The grey thing behind the staff and balloon is meant to be the Buddha's hand that trapped him under the mountain and a reference to his imprisonment under 5 phases mountain.
Peach popsicle! Of course I had too! A lil something from the present for our (shadow) peachy friend
Mk's stone as well, had to add his son in there too. The baby ever.
(probably just a cookie but it's the thought that counts)
The two sugar cookies are meant to be his logo (aka the lmk logo) and fireworks, again taken from Tengen's cake.
The sun is a candied/tanghulu esque orange thing. Like an orange slice coated in yellow melted sugar shaped like a sun and the phoenix feather cap since I consider it iconic enough to put in here. I didn't want to put it on him, blocking a lot of the decorations so I just hung it to the side and I think I'm happy with that.
A lot more monkeys here! It was very fun popping them in! I know I only gave Mac 1 but I mean Wukong's the monkey king for a reason. Let him be a loving grandpa and invite his subjects on the cake with him. He granted them immortality by ripping their names out the book of dead, let them have a place on the cake too
Also, yes that is the origami pilgims in the bottom left, I couldn't leave them alone could I?
Now the elephant in the room (or at least in my head), yes I did use @maplesleep's matcha pancake design for flower fruit mountain.
Cake on cake. Bit much but hey, I like cake and pastries better than candy normally so win for me.
And I couldn't just make cake about Sun Wukong without mentioning his home/origins of ffm. I do genuinely love the inginuity and adorableness factor of the pancake design and hope they don't mind me slapping it on my...cheesecake? Jelly cake? Jelly-cheesecake?
(also I have to ask @maplesleep, did you watch the 3rd emirichu anime cafe video, specifically the urusei yatsura cafe as inspiration for the 'sun wukong's strawberry sponge cake punishment' parfait thingy, gorgeously drawn btw I used those drawings as inspiration quite a bit for these cakes, or saw the urusei yatsura collab anime cafe
cause I couldn't help but notice the similarities between that and the 'shinobu's maiden strength parfait' cause if you didn't that be a pretty funny coincidence lol)
So what do you think? You think I could make it as another lmk food chef for lego? Can I join the club lmao?
I do realize in retrospect the disrespect I did Mk by making his cake so plain by comparison to his mentor's. But I think that's a testament to my improvement and attention to detail when making these cakes as the days have progressed!
I consider Mk's in particular to be the most lacking and I lowkey feel so bad for my boi for not giving him the main character status he deserves.
I might draw him again, idk. Not anytime soon though, like I said, I'm quite busy now more than before and I need a break, still glad I could serve y'all another slice of cake though!

pov; you as a (the) bakery owner
your bakery has been getting quite a lot of attention lately, causing you to having to work overtime. you don't really mind it though, you've chosen this career because you enjoy baking and having extra load of work isn't an excuse to not work.
it is five in the morning and you're already in your bakery to start your day. you are in the back space of the bakery where all the baking takes place. you first make a sandwich for you boyfriend for his lunch. you wrap it in silver paper and put it aside and finally get started on your work.
you take the cookie dough from the fridge along with the trays. you set them in the counter, taking out the small weighing machine to measure the dough, rolling them between your palms to make them a circle and placing then in the tray with some distance between the each of them.
almost an hour later, you've popped all the dough in the oven and now are starting to work on the cakes you have to get ready for delivery today. you bring out the batches of sponge cakes out the fridge that you baked yesterday evening.
you check your phone to look at the details of the orders before working with the buttercream. you're deep focused on your work that you don't notice another presence in the room. causing you to startle when you feel a pair of arms wrap around your waist.
you jump a little as you turn your head back to see nanami, "gosh you scared me." he chuckles, tightening his hold around you, "sorry, you looked really pretty when concentrating like that." he kisses your cheeks before letting go of you.
"i'm gonna restock the items in the shop." you smile as you nod at him, "thank you." he pats you on the top of your head and walks to the front, starting to get the bakery ready for opening.
another hour later, nanami has opened the shop while you're almost done with the cakes for the day. you sprinkle some edible glitter in the cakes and let out a long breath, "finally.." you mumble and put the cake back in the freezer.
"i brought you coffee, darling." nanami comes in with two cups in each of his hands. he hands one of the to you and places his own cup on the side of the counter, "have i told you that i'm so proud of you?"
he says out of blue and you tilt your head with a smile, "not today." you take a sip of your coffee and place you cup on the side, before moving close to nanami.
"no matter how much i say it, it's never enough. you really put effort and some more extra effort in your work and it never fails to amaze me. it was hard for you in the beginning, i know but you've come a long way and i'm really proud of you."
you giggle, wrapping your arms around his waist, "aw thank you kento, really. for always being there for me."
he holds you jaw in one hand and brings his lips on your. you smile as you kiss him back. slow and full of love.
until.. the door opens with a loud voice, "y/n, i'm so sorry i'm late." you quickly pull away from your boyfriend. one of your staffs, just came in and looks between you and nanami, looking sorry for disturbing your moment, "i'm sorry.."
you chuckle, "it's.. fine." she quickly puts her stuffs on the little table, before walking towards the door that connects to the bakery, "don't worry i'm on the counter."
you look at nanami after she's gone and pull him in a hug, "i'm sorry about her." he chuckles, "i'm gonna get used to having loud people around." you chuckle, pulling away from him. he clears his throat, "well y/n i have to go get ready for my work. i'll see you in the evening."
"uh huh, see you later. have a great day." he kisses you one last time before heading out for your shared apartment to get ready.
pls i started this with one thing in mind and idk what happened to it
mm.. nice ways to start your morning.

day 21. WHAT CHRISTMAS TREATS ARE YOU BAKING IN YOUR DR? are you rolling out gingerbread dough and decorating them with icing? baking buttery mince pies or indulgent yule logs? who’s helping, and who’s sneaking bites when you’re not looking?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
˚ ✦ . .   ˚ . . ✦ ˚ . ★⋆. ࿐࿔
baking occupies most of a weekend around the holidays, where my connections and Lorenzo’s goodwill with the Hufflepuffs gets us more access to the kitchens than usual. the smell of sugar and melting chocolate fills the air, and while Lorenzo, Millicent and Blaise are helping to bake, i’m pretty sure those like Pansy, Mattheo, and definitely Theo only stick around to steal what they can
— PEPPERMINT & CHOCOLATE CAULDRON CAKES . rich chocolate cakes shaped like bubbling cauldrons, filled with molten peppermint ganache
— FROSTED SNOWFLAKE SUGAR WANDS . thin sugar cookies enchanted to sparkle like real snowflakes, iced in shimmering silver and frosty blue
— GINGERBREAD ANIMALS . forget houses—my gingerbread game is all about little enchanted familiars: cats, owls, snakes, and toads that wiggle their sugar-dusted tails. (Thyra’s likeness, of course, gets pride of place)
— YULETIDE BERRY TARTELETS . bite-sized tarts filled with spiced berry compote and topped with enchanted sugared holly leaves
— SPICED HOT COCOA BOMBS . i handcraft emerald and silver cocoa bombs, infused with a hint of cinnamon and cardamom. pop one into hot milk, and bam—a swirl of festive flavor with glittering marshmallow snakes
— STAINED GLASS COOKIES . butter cookies with “windows” of melted sugar in jewel-toned reds and greens, charmed to glimmer faintly under candlelight. they’re almost too pretty to eat—almost
— VELVET YULE LOG ROLL . a decadent chocolate sponge rolled with peppermint cream filling, dusted with enchanted powdered sugar that sparkles like fresh snow
— FIREWHISKY-SPIKED FRUIT MINCE PIES . mini pies filled with dried fruits and a dash of Firewhisky, perfect for warming up after a snowball fight. a sprinkle of powdered sugar adds just enough sweetness to balance it out
— LEMON LAVENDER MOON BISCUITS . dainty crescent-shaped biscuits infused with bright lemon and floral lavender, iced in pale pastel hues
— DARK CHOCOLATE GANACHE TART . a sleek, no-nonsense tart with rich, silky ganache and a hint of sea salt. i decorate it with gold-leaf accents and edible star charms for that added sparkle
— BUTTERBEER BLONDIES . chewy blondies infused with butterscotch and Butterbeer syrup, topped with a drizzle of caramel and enchanted snowflake sprinkles
— ELDERFLOWER MERINGUES . feather-light meringues enchanted to shimmer faintly, flavored with elderflower and a hint of lemon
— VANILLA CARDAMOM CRESCENT SCONES . soft, buttery scones with just a whisper of warm spice, shaped into crescents and dusted with snowy sugar
— TRUFFLE ORBS . glittery chocolate truffles in flavors like spiced orange, dark raspberry, and salted caramel, each wrapped in edible silver foil
— CRANBERRY PISTACHIO BISCOTTI . crunchy biscotti studded with ruby-red cranberries and emerald pistachios, perfect for dipping into enchanted hot cocoa
— CARAMELIZED PEAR & ALMOND GALETTE . rustic but elegant, this flaky pastry is topped with spiced caramelized pears and slivered almonds, then baked to golden perfection. a little earthy, a lot luxurious
— EMERALD FIZZ MACARONS . pale green macarons filled with champagne-infused buttercream, topped with edible glitter
— MIDNIGHT CHOCOLATE-DIPPED SHORTBREAD . rich shortbread cookies half-dipped in dark chocolate and sprinkled with gold dust
— FROSTED PUMPKIN MOONCAKES . mini mooncakes filled with spiced pumpkin custard, their intricate patterns iced in snowy white

Hi, it’s me again. In honour of Edmond’s birthday, the return of the knightlings with a Drabble, enjoy:
“Alicia how in the god of Klein were you able to make this?” Blake asked, gobsmacked at the simple yet elegant jewellery laid before him from the blue heart-shaped jewel decorated with silver on the necklace to the various hair ties, each painstakingly embroidered with their own unique pattern in gold, blue and silver.
The older knight hummed as she encased the jewellery with a lid, wrapping the small box up with a ribbon, “It’s not that difficult to make once you know what you’re doing.”
“Well as usual, when it comes to things be it work or something else, you always deliver in high quality.” Blake smirked, placing down a new paper organiser for the vice-captain, a file holder is what it’s called, at the table he and the knights designate as the Gift Place.
What he doesn’t mention is sack he placed beside the blue haired man’s bed in his room at Aster’s mansion, full of some steamy novels Blake was sure that his boss would love. It was honestly a slip up that made Blake discover Edmond’s little secret and while he would rather die than tell anyone of his boss’s undisclosed reading, he’s absolutely using this knowledge to his advantage to give the vice-captain something he genuinely enjoys. Plus, it’s always a fun challenge to sneak into Aster’s mansion even when he gets caught by that fox yokai. Kuya was it? He’s fun to talk to.
“And the cakes are done!!” Flori exclaims proudly, balancing two giant cakes on each of her hands before setting them down on the counter. One is a cute chocolate chiffon cake decorated with dollops of silver frosting while the other is a sugar and sweetness incarnate of a 3 tier sponge cake covered in baby blue cream and decorated with sugar glass, swords icing and buttercream. It hasn’t even been out for a minute and Blake already felt like a bag of sugar had been dumped down his throat. Subtly, he turned his head towards the Gift Place where Flori’s batch of cookies, somehow baked with the boss’s ridiculously sweet honey sauce sat, it’s sickeningly sweet smell thankfully trapped in an enchanted tin they’ve all made sure to get.
“We should be done here!” One of the more culinary-attuned knights shouts out as plates various foods ranging from party meals to treats and homemade meals were brought out to the counter. The venue itself was a cafeteria space found and rented out by Liam, in fact it was his idea to prepare a surprise party for Edmond, something the squadron immediately agreed to. It wasn’t anything fancy like a noble banquet or whatever parties the grand sorcerer would organise but it’s something all of them wanted to do for their vice-captain, and that’s what matters.
A knock on the door sends the whole room into silence as Alicia opens it and in stumbles two of the knights stationed outside to keep watch. “We saw Vinn, they and the vice-captain are coming!”
Like a well-trained army, they all got into position before the door was closed, ducking under tables, keeping their bodies pressed against the walls besides the doorway or simply crouching down. Handmade confetti and streamers were past down, ready to be thrown and as Blake waited with baited breath as two sets of footsteps grew steadily louder, he couldn’t help but smile, silently thanking whatever deity out there for being able to meet such an earnest, hardworking and kindhearted man.
“Don’t worry Vice-captain, it’s nothing serious.”
“But if it’s not so serious, why do you say it was so important? —?!”
“SURPRISE!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY VICE-CAPTAIN!!”
OHMYGODDDDD THE KNIGHTLINGS THREW EDMOND A BIRTHDAY PARTY 😭 and all the cute gifts, I'm so sooooft
This is too cute!!!
