Boopageddon is upon us.

In light of recent events (namely, the hailstorm of boops happening on Tumblr at this moment), Night Vale Mayor Dana Cardinal (hi Dana!) has declared this Boopageddon.

Intern Aster is watching the "Global Boop Counter" on their personal "Boop-O-Meter" (kindly gifted to them by the Tumblr staff - thank you, Tumblr staff!). As of 1:20pm EST, the Global Boop Counter has reached 55.3 million boops, and counting. Experts say that by tomorrow, we may have as many as 1 billion.

The Sheriff's Secret Police has asked that all citizens please remain inside until the storm of boops passes.
