"Wait!" Boost blurts out, before he realizes he's opened his mouth.

For an eternal, painful moment, no one moves. Sinker is looking up at Boost from between his legs, Wolffe seems entirely unsure of where to look, gaze darting from Sinker to Boost to the wall and back. Why did he say that? What can he say now?

“I need-” he begins, as curious as anyone how the sentence will end- “your help. After. To get to the..” he gestures vaguely toward the tub, painfully aware of Sinker's fingers buried to the last knuckle in his cunt. “So.. you might as well stay.”

Wolffe looks between Boost and Sinker more purposefully now, one brow raising as he fights to keep amusement off his face. Sinker isn't doing a damn thing about his, although he graciously doesn't laugh. Boost knows it's a ridiculous excuse, but it's just plausible enough to keep him from having to admit the truth - he wants Wolffe to watch him come.

“Not Sinker?” Wolffe asks mildly.

“Tired him out,” Boost replies - the first thing he's said since Wolffe walked in that he's sure of. “Wouldn't be much help.”

“I'm so helpful!” Sinker protests loudly, pressing up against that spot inside Boost that makes his toes curl as if it's revenge for the perceived slight. It does feel like revenge when Boost lets out a sharp gasp and his hips rock against his will, and Wolffe's eyes track the movement.

“Okay,” the man says, crossing his arms and leaning back against the wall. “I’ll wait then.”

Okay. He'll wait then. He'll wait and he’ll watch Boost come on Sinker’s fingers, under his mouth.

Boost swallows drily.

Something that refuses to leave my brain:

Would clones have belly buttons? Because from what I can tell when we see the baby clones that are still in the growth tubes, they have no umbilical cord. So, do they just not have belly buttons??? Would they think belly buttons are weird????

Someone stop my brain before it drives me more insane from thinking about this.

Since the Wolfpack is search and rescue in canon that means it makes perfect sense to make them all firefighters. Plo is captain, the rest of the crew is the team. You can make R2 and 3PO cats that are always stuck in trees that Wolffe hates getting calls for. It's perfect

The Wolfpack is so punk but I feel like it's just because they suffered such an extreme sample selection bias. Like when you watch 'Rising Malevolence' Plo Koon just exudes serene vibes, and Wolffe is all calm with his neat dress grays and his regulation haircut and soft voice. And then Sinker and Boost take off their helmets and it's like double red mohawk and beach blonde up in here. Like was all the 104th like that or is it just that the two punkiest troopers ended up in that escape pod and suddenly became 50% of the battalion?

Still slowly plodding along with this for @cloneshiprarepair ... I only had a little play with this tonight, so not a lot got done 🙁.

First line was all the grey paint on Sinker's armour. The Last line was the tiny hint of blue/purple shine to the visor flare. Next will be the wolf design on his helmet - I'm looking forward to that!

Welcome to the delulu-but-safe Star Wars AU

Here are a few scenes from our new reality:

1. Plo's Bros have a weekly tea time with Plo Koon.

Wolffe is responsible for making sure no one is late. Boost always brings cookies that no one likes, but everyone eats them to make him happy. Plo has a huge collection of various teas – his favorite is "Yobacca Green."

2. Bly and Aayla train young Padawans – together.

And yes, they often laugh. Bly is the strict, calm type who teaches the young Jedi tactics, while Aayla does Force exercises with them and then beats everyone at holochess. In the evenings, they sit on the terrace of the Jedi Temple – sometimes hand in hand.

3. Cody and Obi-Wan argue about who cooks better.

Cody insists on "functional field food," while Obi-Wan makes space-vegan fancy food. Once a month, there's a cook-off, and Anakin is the incompetent but passionate judge. Spoiler: He burns his tongue every time.

4. Ahsoka and Rex conduct a training program for new clones.

They teach them to think and feel. Every recruit gets a nickname from Ahsoka – with a ceremonial tap on the helmet. Rex pretends to find it silly, but he loves it.

5. Fox now runs a police academy.

He trains young guards—focusing on compassion, ethics, and self-defense. His office is bright, he has plants and a picture of Thorn, Thire, Stone, Hound and Grizzer on the wall. No one has to hunt innocent Jedi or follow demands of a maniac sith in disguise. No one. Blaster are turned to stun. Always.

6. Padmé is alive. Anakin is not Vader.

They have twins – who spend the night at Obi-Wan's in the temple because "Uncle Ben" reads bedtime stories better. Anakin pretends to be cool, but he calls every hour to ask if they've eaten anything.

Sinker's attempt at dismissal is cut off with a sharp gasp as Boost's foot pushes one of his own out from under him. Knocked off balance, he falls back against Boost's chest, their armor clattering together loudly, and he isn't allowed to straighten. When he tries, Boost's arm tightens over his cuirass. His heart starts to race beneath it.

Wolffe steps in closer and suddenly it doesn't matter that they're all the same height. Not when Sinker's trapped between them on unsteady legs, relying entirely on Boost's grip to keep him mostly upright. No, Wolffe looms over him like this, intimidating and inescapable.
