It is common for people to discuss physical health issues that run in the family, but what about the family trauma? The energy of trauma transfers from one generation to the next and impacts the life force of each generation when it is left unchecked. Our DNA can change when awareness, acknowledgment, and acceptance of the trauma takes place. Some of the things that we carry is not our own and the key to unlock that is opening our mouths and talking about it. Family Secrets is not what protects a lineage. Discussing the trauma can unlock the doors to why one may have high anxiety, chronic depression, addictions, etc. etc. When we fail to discuss these things, it just repeats in our lives and in our lineage along with illnesses. “Unfortunately, remaining silent about the past does little to immunize the next generation.
