Hey do you guys remember that one conference where Seb was defending Lewis after he said something after a collision, explaining how if you put mics on footballs or other athletes of course you would hear shit from them too because there's the adrenaline+ the heat of the moment?
Yeah?
Okay.
Now can we use that same logic when it comes to drivers even if you don't like them?
Not once has Lance insinuated that Daniel was at fault or blamed him.
The only thing he said , after he crashed into Daniel, was that Daniel breaked, he wanted the team to check for damage and he called him an idiot (one of the tamest things that was probably said this race.)
This illusion like Lance said something so horrible and made Daniel out to be the this big evil dude who breaktested him is so for from removed.
And it comes from poor journalism and in my opinion an unprofessional response from Ricciardo who is one of the most beloved drivers and of course will have most of the fandoms backing.
And I don't mind if you want to blame Lance (eventhough multiple experts saw him as in an unfortunate circumstance) but audacity some of you all show without actually checking if things are being told correctly especially when everyone knows how much the media loves to stir up shit to then accuse Lance which is already bad but also to wish harm on him etc.
Yeah, I think certain people or parts of the fandom are really showing their immaturity here.

Australian GP: A winner without an appendix, exploding breaks and fyling Mercedes'
Tumblr media
The Grand Prix of Australia was a really great one with action, trouble and a surprising winner.
The race started as usual, with Verstappen winning the start and creating a small gap to Carlos Sainz, but then in the third corner of the second lap, Verstappen made a mistake on the break, so Sainz got close again and overtook him in the next DRS zone. Only one and a half lap later, there was smoke coming from the rear right tyre of Verstappens Red Bull and at the end of lap 4 his break was on fire and exploded as he was coming to the pit. This was the first DNF since Australia 2022 for Max.
The race was very suspense packed between Leclerc and the McLaren over the next laps and almost the entire race.
After the first pit stops, Lewis Hamilton's engine suddenly stopped working and he had to stop his car, causing the first VSC of the race.
The race then got a bit calmer with some fights in the middle of the field and also Lando Norris gaining on Charles Leclerc, until he got to his second pit stop.
Just one lap before the end, there was a big crash. George Russel crashed his Mercedes into the wall and came to a stop on the middle of the track, lying almost on the side of his car, causing the last VSC of the race, which also ended the race with Carlos Sainz as the winner. Seems like a great trade, to give away his appendix and get a race win in exchange. After the Race, Fernando Alonso got a 20 second penalty for breaktesting George Russell and causing his crash.

A few “fans” under Max instagram post act like Checo wasn’t nearly 0.4 seconds of Max pace during qualifying all season. They’re acting like he let Max trough every race and he was better every time and was told to stop on track to let Max pass. Max earned this by himself. Checo got third place because of his own unsteady season. Not because Max didn’t let him pass in Brasil. We could see it again today. According to some “fans” Max should have breaktested Charles. And let Checo win. He was faster than Max my ass. Just to stir shit and let Max get the blame for his incompetence.

Of course Max thinks he won that Championship deservedly.
He also believes he's in the right for forcing Lewis off the track in Brazil.
He also believes he was penalised unfairly when there was a car literally stopped on the track in Quatar and he didn't lift.
He also thought he was in the right with each and every little thing he's done that would have warrented a penalty in Jeddah, even if at one point the stewards didn't even know what they were penalising anymore because there were so many incidents. Including breaktesting Lewis. Even more, he felt unfairly treated for the lax penalties he got.
He also thought he was in the right for pushing Lewis off track in the first lap of Abu Dhabi and complained when Lewis only had to give back the advantage he gained by going off (being forced off) track.
Of course he thinks he deserves that championship.
"But Abu Dhabi wasn't on him, it was on Masi."
You really want me to believe that Max not being able to drive well enough to get past Lewis in the finale had nothing to do with that decision on Masi's part?
Let's be honest, Lewis was penalised heavier for a technical defect in Brazil Qualifying than Max was for brake testing his rival. It has to do with Max and Red Bull. If you think this was just about the entertainment you're kidding yourself

Are you fucking kidding me. Verstappen is legitimately crazy. What the fuck. Who does that. He deliberately breaktested Lewis and he did it deliberately. Your fav is fucking crazy!!!!!!! Fucking evil little shit! And now Lewis frontwing is fucked and it's exactly what that little monster wanted. He can't handle pressure and I hope it haunts his championship (if he wins it) forever. Fucking crazy idiot.

Jeddah21 was truly a hydrogen bomb (FIA and their little terrorist) vs coughing baby (lewis driving at 300km/h trying to understand why the man who breaktested him was not punished) situation.

Max breaktested Lewis (one of the most dangerous things an F1 driver can do) & only gets a 10 second penalty. Yet you wanna tell me the FIA is biased towards Merc? Miss me with that bullshit

you gotta love how the one possible borderline move that lewis did in the entire race yesterday was pushing max wide into a corner which was the one masi said was a black and white flag if lewis did it again (which he didn’t) and somehow max fans are now using this as an excuse to say “both made mistakes yesterday” and are blaming the inconsistent penalties and the fia and how nobody is talking about lewis doing that ONE move as if that is anywhere NEAR the level of breaktesting someone??
it’s just so wild to me how all season we heard “that’s just hard racing!!” and now when lewis does it it should be a penalty and apparently is just as bad and dangerous as break testing because they can’t even deny anymore that max did it deliberately so there’s now a bad attempt at diversion with “but lewis did this so they both did bad things yesterday!!!”
both did things yes they just weren’t on the same level at all!! not anywhere near each other!!! it’s not the same thing!!!! stop pretending like it is!!! just because they both did A Thing doesn’t mean they cancel each other out and are on the same scale here!!!! gosh
