Dunno if this was your intention but I was playing for the first time and most of the images look like this:

That's the first time anyone's reported that for all the images. Sounds like it might be a browser-related or internet issue.
Which version of the game are you playing? (Patreon Alpha, Open Beta on oneknightstand.co, or Itch.io demo?) And on what browser or platform (Android, iOS, Windows etc)

I don't know if someone mentioned this yet, but when I reply parts of Chapter 2, some of the text changes. For instance, when asking Adrian to cook something simple, the text either shows cereal or toast, and I have no idea what causes this. There's also the food Merlin provides at the warehouse, which changes between junk food or some meaty. Even in the same playthrough, this happens. I'm not sure if it's a bug or not.

What snacks Merlin provides during the greeting scene with Percy will change depending upon if the MC showed any dietary preferences ahead of time.
Regarding making breakfast, are you sure it's Adrian making breakfast in the scene with the cereal, as the motorhome section only uses the word "cereal" once in the choice...
#Whatever looks like the quickest and easiest to make. Breakfast cereal is it!
...which is the option that MC gets if they decide to make breakfast themselves. The word "cereal" shouldn't ever show up in the scenario where Adrian makes breakfast.
If the game is bugging out and looping from Adrian making breakfast into MC making breakfast then I'll need a screencap or a copy/paste of the scene to see what's going on (as there should be way more logic/timeline errors going on there).

It keeps popping up an error when I click on a favorite mug color at the start. Saying that the color doesn’t exist and this happens to everyone I’ve click on.

Okay, I went through every single permutation of color on the version of the game currently uploaded to this site (all 117 of them 🥲) and I can't replicate this bug. Also...

Those variables absolutely do already exist in the files uploaded to the website.
All I can suggest is clearing your cache again, then if the error still persists, try playing in incognito or private browsing mode. You basically need to try and force your browser to use the actual updated files. Final attempt would be switching to a new browser that hasn't played the game yet.
Incognito/private browsing/new browser might mess with your ability to access your save files, however, so I'd probably slam clear cache a few more times before trying them. (Also, obviously don't use a corrupted save file, but I doubt any of you would be doing so early in the game anyway)
Also, here's the link to the current startup file. Maybe directly viewing it will force the browser to acknowledge its existence? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I manually go through every single choice/variation/ifelse etc in the game and then run QuickTest and RandomTest 50,000 - 100,000 times before making the game public. (It was 70,000x this time).
The chances of this sort of game-breaking bug passing through all that testing isn't completely impossible, but it's highly improbable. 99.9% of the time, if you're getting this sort of pop-up window then your browser is being a &*%^ and not using the correct updated files.
(That only applies to the game-breaking pop-up window bugs, other more subtle bugs and typos are alas, still very, very probable).
I've noticed while testing the game, that Chrome in particular never automatically uses the updated files, but clearing the cache there is usually enough to fix that. (I did also get the favcolor_ error on Chrome the first time I played through the game without clearing the cache)
What browser are all you using? Also mobile or desktop?
*I also have no idea what's going on with merlin_no_food error... no reference to that variable exists in the current game files at all? Maybe it'll be cleared up too if the browser uses the correct files?

hello! i just started reading your demo and i absolutely love it, it's probably the best one i've ever read
a little bug in the polo club tho: when MC asks about the ponies being scared Adrian mentions Marshall even if we haven't seen him yet

Hmm, I can't trigger than error and I double-checked the code in that section and the Marshall flavor text with Adrian only triggers if marshall_status = 1 and that variable is only set when the Marshall having trouble with his horse flavor text has already been shown.
Are you sure that Marshall having trouble in the background hadn't already fired by that point? It's not a big scene, it's just a couple sentences of flavor text that gets added in after you've been interacting with Adrian for three timeslots.

Hello! Encountered a bug in chapter 2 when trying to access the phone:
Phone line 178: Invalid indent? Expected an #option here, not *set
I think it's because I asked Adrian earlier to send me info about the apocalypse and he said he would send it to MC after?

I pushed a hotfix out for that now, try clearing your cache and reloading the page from a save file prior to your accessing the phone menu with the error last time.
