The "All Hallows Eve" story from Patreon doesn't work 😔 I can read the first page, but clicking next sends me to (ironically) 404 page not found.

Yeah, pretty ironic considering there's an actual purposeful link to the 404 page in that particular story. And also... who appears in it.
It seems some stuff got broken when I updated the security to my site after it was hacked (and then an update to one of the site's plugins broke something else earlier this week).
Anyway, it should hopefully be fixed now.
Let me know if anything else on the site looks broken, but you'll probably want to post any of those types of bug reports to Patreon to get a far faster reply than making it through Tumblr's queue.

Was code diving, and I realized you can increase your stats pretty much infinitely in the pseudonym section as long as you're willing to type in the names over and over.

Dammit, that's what happens when I allow players to back out and change their minds. Although it'd probably be easier just to cheat through the web console instead of spamming a pseudonym over and over again.
Anyway, thanks for the report, I've fixed it in my version of the game and it should be part of the next bugfix update.

Ch. 2 Semi-Fail Shower Bug
Hey! I’ve noticed I’m unable to get the “partial failure” when taking a shower while the RV is moving. My MC has body 27, but still gets the “total fail” scene with -5 health. I checked to see if it had to do with my other stats but I don’t think so. I have tactics for talent and sloth as vice.

If you drank too much coffee ahead of time before trying to take a shower, that will also lead to an auto-fail as well. Otherwise, the code looks to be working as intended from this end.

Unsure if this has already been reported, but in this scene (in the motorhome, after the dream sequence), the last option breaks mute mc’s silence. (Background is family car accident w/ prescription addiction)

They used 'he' even though I remembered selecting Female...?? Unless they talking qbiut someone else... idk English my second language....

That depends who "he" is supposed to be. If it's the MC (and you chose to be female), than that's a bug, but I'd need to know the exact line where it happened.
If it's Merlin, then you selecting Merlin to be a female only means that the MC sees Merlin as a female. Everyone else sees Merlin as whatever they find to be the most attractive. So Merlin uses all the pronouns (but the MC should be using whatever the player selected there).
So if the MC referred to Merlin in this situation as "he", that's a bug. If another character referred to Merlin as "he", that's just the way that they're seeing Merlin.

I’m playing a mute MC who got kidnapped, and after waking up with the apartment complex blowing up, both of the silent reactions get rid of the mute flag. If you select I point in jabbing accusation at both Adrian and Merlin, with my gaze burning with indictments. Adrian will say that’s the first time I heard them speak. However, if you pick I just point back out the window at a familiar high-rise that’s currently wreathed in flames and smoke. He doesn’t say anything, but it still counts as speaking.

Unfortunately 404 has gotten to the game since going to the game on web Firefox makes the following pop-ups appear: SyntaxError missing formal parameter, ReferenceError stats is not defined, TypeError window(.)nav is undefined. On web Chrome, the pop-ups are: Uncaught SyntaxError Unexpected string, Uncaught ReferenceError stats is not defined, Uncaught TypeError Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'setStartingStatsClone'). Playing on mobile and incognito do work, but my poor saves ;(

If you're still seeing this, try clearing your browser's cache for the oneknightstand.co website. I was trying to implement a hard refresh function (to automatically clear people's cache of the game; alas, no success there) earlier in the day.
That was way earlier, though, so if that coding stuff is still showing up, it's a caching issue. Basically, if incognito mode works, that means your browser is using an old version of the game files.

Wait, why does deleting spam messages or blocking the spam number count as "you replied" for the endgame stats (setting u_replied and spam_reply as true)? I mean, it's not actual reply. And if those variables are for hiding the options from fake_choice, they probably shouldn't be in the endgame screen alongside with the counter for message replies that beak the pretending to be dead thing.
I've edited the phone files now so that those options are rerouted around the part that sets all those flags to true. Thanks for the heads up!

I've double checked and the security camera option only takes up one slot of time, the exact same as all the other options (besides the ransack everything & I'm done options which auto end the scene).
If the scene ended right after you chose that option, it means you were naturally out of time.

I'm just updating the Potential Camelot MC spreadsheet and noticed that Andred of Galloway's entry in minor allies is removed. Just want to make sure thats correct before I delete it. Also noticed a typo in Ninianne's entry in major allies. I believe call should be all. Safir's entry in minor allies his name is spelled with 1 f but in Segwarides' entry it is spelled Saffir

After careful consideration of the way Andred died, his entry got bumped over to Minor Neutral in case his potential current incarnation is holding a grudge. The Minor Neutral update is currently only available in the Alpha Build on Patreon, but he's definitely still there.
Otherwise, I updated the typos on the Alpha version, but won't be updating Merlin's Guide on the Open Beta until the official Chapter 2-3 update. (Merlin's Guide has just changed too much at this point)

theres a line in the Camelot flashback along the Arthur path in the stables that should only trigger if you dont say anything but is triggering for all the options. *if (silent_greeting) "You travel silently as a cat at times."

Good catch! I also found that the lancelot_escape variable had erroneously been created as 'true' as well. I've fixed it in my version of the game and will probably do another update of the all the files with typos/non-game breaking bugs in a couple days.

so, my mc sucessfully escaped the monster bed, and then proceed to open the door for Merlin, told them about the pest and burned it, Merlin sugested healind cause of an injured hand, and my mc agreed. But, after that in the choices, you can see something about "what else can they do aside from busting down doors etc etc" when Merlin didnt need to bust the door.

Someone's probably already mentioned this but jic, at least in the public beta test, you cant seem to turn off sounds after starting the game. Turning off sounds at the start seems to break images as well? But it's possible that's just my device and nothing to do with the sounds-

No, not being able to turn off the audio has never come up, and I know at least 30%+ of the userbase plays with the sounds off and considering I play through each scene dozens to hundreds of times during the bug checking phase, I play the majority of the time with sounds off as well.
There's also no connection between the audio and the images (and no way to turn images off either).
All I can suggest is making sure you're playing the right version and to clear your cache and refresh the page. If you're using an old save, then also check your Status page to make sure your stats haven't been reset back to default (if they have, then that save slot has completely bugged out).
Otherwise, regarding turning off sound in the middle of the game from the Status menu, unfortunately the way that the stats menu works in Choicescript means that nothing is set until you return from the menu back to the main game and then move the game forward one screen (either by clicking an option or the 'Next' button etc).
Only then does the game recognize that the audio option has been toggled "off".
This also means that if you tried to turn off the audio on a page that's currently playing a sound file, the audio file will play to its end before everything is turned off. There shouldn't be any audio from that point onwards however.

Hi! Looks like the hotwiring/warding reaction from Merlin only happens if you were in the RV when they got back from shopping.

Yes, only the MC who remains behind in the RV gets a front row seat to see Merlin's reaction to whatever they did as opposed to the MC who was running around the rest stop in the latter half. I want people who remained behind to get at least some exclusive content.
However, looking at that scene closer revealed that there's some errors in how some things were being tabulated in the background (which I've now fixed and updated), so thanks for bringing the topic up!
