What is Spatial language?
Spatial vocabulary is defined as spatial language with children that can help improve their spatial understanding. Examples include words like skinny and thin. They important because it is thought that their use enables children to better understand spatial problems. These are defined as problems involving understanding how objects or people are located in relation to one another.

Really wretched how "My house, my rules" is such a common phrase among parents.
They really do think that fulfilling the bare minimum of their legal responsibilities to avoid being arrested for neglect entitles them to completely control the people they made (who legally cannot escape them even if they want to) and threaten them with homelessness to coerce behavior.
See also:
"I brought you into this world and I can take you out."
"Spare the rod, spoil the child."
And more.

70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75
070. What about your character is cowardly?
He’s very, very afraid of trusting anyone with anything. Intimacy is a terrifying concept, and honestly the only way he manages to get close to anyone is a lack of self control.
071. [Answered]
072. In a Dungeons & Dragons game, which class would your character be? (wizard, fighter, bard, priest, ranger, etc.)
Cleric. War domain. If he was playing, he’d secretly want to play a wizard and probably play a paladin of conquest.
073. [Answered]
074. What is your character’s favorite game?
He would fucking love Magic: The Gathering and Warhammer 40k. Realistically to his setting, though, he enjoys amiable competition and can actually play a pretty mean game of chess.
075. Is your character ticklish?
Very, and will deny it to the end of time.

soupitypoop replied to your photoset: so angelos entire story is gonna be entirely...
Its important to remember angelo is not with one of her character and her friend is doing their own thing with orca. So she cant be in bup (tammy would need their permission and they didnt giv it) so he will hav to be redone
I mean yeah but thats in regards to his romantic life not his... like... backstory and core existence? There isnt any reason he can’t still be a hybrid in bup, orca doesn’t really have any influence on his parents being different races or whatever. I get the part about ‘he wouldnt have opened up about being a  hybrid without orca’ but that doesn’t mean that he would never have opened up if he was a hybrid

Ok but in my development classes we talk about who children with active minds and a need to move do infact learn best when moving their hands/bodys. It’s why you get children that click their pens, rock back and forth, squir, or doodle. They are focused. As an educator, ask questions- are they testing well in the quizzes? When asked questions in lecture do they participate? Is the doodle on topic (if not it’s fine but if it is then you know they are listening to the topic).
What can a teacher do to help shake off some of that excess energy? Movement during lecture! Children are not meant to sit for 8 hours a day (none of us are). Stomp you feet on time with key words, clap your hands with numbers. Anything that can get us to move a bit! But never discourage doodlein gif it helps the child focus. It’s our job to try and figure out what child is learning though movement and what child is distracted.
In my personal experience I would knit at my community collage classes and never had to study because I would retain my information better. If I read my textbook while joggin on the treadmill I would retain the information better than when I would take notes on what I was reading. Now that I am at a 4 year and trying to be professional I’m having a harder time retaining info from lecture because I am trying to take notes and not knit in classes.
9 year old kept getting in trouble for doodling in classs, gets a job decorating a restaurant with his doodles
They sent Joe to an after-school art class and his artistic abilities were quickly noticed by those around him. In fact, Joe was invited to decorate the dining room of the ‘Number 4’ restaurant in Shrewsbury, England. Now, Joe is known as The Doodle Boy and has his own website, as well as social media pages showing off his awesome art.

from the application;
THE BRAVE DON’T RUN; Always more foolhardy than most, you are a boy without fear; charging directly into the fire and luring your twin along for the ride. When you were a child your parents had thought they could keep you in line with a short leash, but you became a master of slipping out of their restraints and boundaries. Fabian was the tempering hand, a counterbalance to keep you on course, but it never really worked and you doubt he really would have wanted it to. It was simply who you were, careless and a little wild, but no less loving for it. You unflinchingly stared down mother dragons and the wands of masked faces who wanted you dead for the sheer audacity of standing in their way, but you never learned what it was to be afraid until you saw your own brother lying on the ground, how still he was amidst the chaos that surrounded you. The battle raged on but you couldn’t pry yourself from his side. You were convinced he was dead for hours before the healers could persuade you otherwise (however barely) and it was weeks before you stopped haunting his bedside. You know that this is your fault, that Fabian had nearly died because he’d been covering your back, but it’s not enough to smother the instincts you’ve lived with all your life. Guilt’s an unfamiliar emotion to you and it clings uneasily to your skin, settles clumsily in your bones, and coils like a knot in your throat. You mightn’t feel so guilty if only you could promise him that you won’t do it again, that you’ll be careful next time, that there won’t be a next time, but you’ve never been able to lie to your brother’s face. Now more than ever, with extremism hidden behind charming smiles and political rhetoric, you know that your purpose in this war is to fight. Recklessness is in your nature, but you’d never imagined it might get someone else killed.
SMILE LIKE YOU MEAN IT; The first thing that people remember about you has always been your laugh; the easiness of it, the genuineness of it, how it fills entire rooms whenever you’re around. It’s one of those things about you that sticks in the mind, the brightness of that sound. Your laughter and your charm is both your shield and your armour, bright and untarnished by the gruesomeness of war, but underneath your defenses it begins to sound all too hollow. You had a lion’s heart once, so big and full of love and bravery that it was worn on your sleeve for just anyone to see, but there’s something defective about it now; like all the little pieces that have been chipped away rattle around inside you, all stemming from a crack where the curse your brother had taken for you should have hit. You don’t know how to show your whole heart these days or how to hold onto the person you were before the war began; it’s hard to disguise the sound of a broken heart when you laugh. You remind yourself of just how much your friends have lost and the comparative score chart, of the unchartered territory that lies ahead with a two-headed snake wrapping itself around the wizarding world, and you know that you can’t let anyone see the fear that’s seeped in through the cracks when what they need is you as you have always been: fearless and full of heart. Lucky, you think, that your armor has been built so thick — nobody need see what bleeds through it.
HERE THERE BE DRAGONS; You’ve always harboured a fascination for the things that could kill you. Befriending dragons and aerial acrobatics on the quidditch pitch, duelling and barfights and courting your sister’s wrath and the resounding march of war; you’ve never shied away from any danger that lies in your path but there are no dangers quite like the ones that lurk inside of you. Amos Diggory’s smile, your sister’s tears, Fabian laying in that hospital bed, your family’s utter devastation at the prospect of losing him, the blame you keep looking for in Fabian’s eyes now, your own anger raging like a furnace inside you, the blame, the guilt, the blame. People think you’re the man without fear, but they’ve never seen beyond your gleaming exterior and care-free laugh: you’ll throw yourself into battle because it’s easier to fight what you can see and not the confusing tangle of emotions inside of you. Your life is lived at breakneck speed because you’re afraid of what you might find in the quiet moments when your head catches up to your heart. The truth of the matter is that you’ve never been any good at being honest with yourself, not about schoolboy crushes or your own feelings, but what you’re most afraid of these days is the anger inside of you, how some days you feel like it burns so strong it might just swallow you whole — you’re afraid of how far you might go when faced with the choice of justice or revenge. Some days you think you should come with a warning attached, hic sunt dracones.
THE LION’S ROAR; The sorting hat had barely even grazed your head before it declared you a Gryffindor and precisely nobody had been surprised. Hogwarts was a playpen to you, a momentary diversion around which an education of sorts took place. Your Hogwarts years consisted of screaming matches with your siblings in the common room (it was how your family with all their highly combustible tempers showed affection, you’d insist), skiving off of homework and coaxing trouble out of every last corner of the castle. You were a frustrating student at the best of times with your propensity for explosions and running ‘behind schedule’ and your professors (and parents and siblings) often despaired of you over the years, not because you weren’t capable of doing the work (you were, and your aptitude for picking up spells and information on the fly was an exasperating quality for the professors trying to instil some kind of work ethic into you) but because your focus was always elsewhere. It was on the Quidditch pitch (a more reckless beater Gryffindor had never seen) or in a dark and forgotten corner trying to forget his smile with someone else’s lips or at the duelling club, swatting down your opponents with perhaps more force than strictly necessary and then offering them a hand up again. You’d thought back then that Hogwarts was merely a stepping stone, one more gate to keep you contained before you’d be released into the wild, and you’d paced the halls impatiently awaiting the light on the other side of the bars. You were sure they understood at the end; you were never meant to be caged.
I FOLLOWED FIRES; There had been a time when the remote location of your job bothered you. You’ve always been a people person above all, you shared every moment of your life since the womb with another human being and the prospect of all that space and wilderness was as terrifying as it was exhilarating. You’ve always craved companionship and attention and noise like you’re starved for it and the human residents of the dragon reservation camped on the slopes of Yr Wyddfa aren’t the most socially-inclined creatures to walk the face of the earth. It takes a certain kind of person to seek out the company of dragons, you’ve found, and at first the only thing you seemed to share in common with most of them is a certain lack of regard for your own wellbeing. Off their rockers, is how most describe the dragon keepers you work with, and you suppose you count amongst them these days; a pack of societal rejects and misfits burdened by regrets who drink, tell stories and compare scars but most of all consider themselves free. There’s always a sense of displacement when you return to the Ministry to file reports or attend meetings, the smell of burn salves and woodsmoke clinging to your skin, as if each time you leave and come back a little bit of that mountain wilderness creeps back in with you. You find solace in the mountains these days, with your brother’s slow hospital recovery still burning in the back of your head and visions of vengeance and justice playing on a loop through your thoughts. There’s something about the bite of mountain air and the fire of moonshine at the back of your throat, the white-heat of dragon fire against the snow, that slows the racing of your thoughts, even if it’s only for a little while. Lately home has felt less like your parent’s ramshackle estate buried in the woods or the two bedroom flat you sometimes share with your brother, but more like a cold and remote snowy mountainside and you aren’t entirely sure what that means.
SOMEONE NEW; You’ve always been the charmer of your family, the boy with the smile worthy of Witch Weekly, but for all your charms you struggle to understand what it is your heart wants from you. Love for you is your family; it’s an all-encompassing force that burns through you, so why is it that you struggle to name it when it comes to anyone else in your life. Your love life is a checkered affair, short-lived and tumultuous relationships marked by your constantly changing emotions. You’re the dreamer and the romantic, with eyes full of stars, but you can never seem to hold onto that spark once it extinguishes. You don’t know whether you’re more afraid of someone seeing you for who you really are beneath all your charms or them never seeing you at all. It’s easier, you think, to never commit to anything serious when vulnerability has never suited you at all. You already have so much to lose in this war, you are hesitant to bet your heart as well.
