She  had  first  tried  to  be  patient  and  wait  for  him  at  his  home.   She  tired  of  waiting  for  him  to  be  done  with  his  work  to   finally   start  their  evening.   Things  between  them  were  still  …  to  be  discovered.          Words  that  they  both  knew  applied  to  the  other  but  for  one  reason  or  another  were  too  scared  to  use.   She  knew  what  she  was  to  him  ,  and  she  was   more  than  aware   of  what  he  was  to  her.   Yet  the  two  still  stood  still  in  fear  of   something   ,  somehow  ruining  this   currently  perfect   thing.

But  for  now  ,  she  wasn't  worried  about   such  complications.   This  mission  she  was  on  ,  was  actually   very  simple.   And  execution  of  it  would  be   just  as  simple   as  she  had  come  to  discover  about  what  pull  she  had  over  him.

It  was  late.   Everyone  had  long  since   gone  home   for  the  evening  ,         and  Sigyn  moved  through  the  familiar  halls  toward  his  office.   Sens  of  direction  had  been   well  honed   over  the  centuries  that  he  had  been  alive  ,  and  before  long  she  found  herself  walking  through  the  door  of  the  tall  blonde's  office.

That  look  on  his  face  made  it  hard   not  to  chuckle.         If  only  because  that  look  he  got  when  he  saw  her  always  filled  her  with  such  joy.   She  had  a   way  with  him  ,  just  as  he  had  a   way  with  her.   As  though  one  had  been  made  for  the  other  when  their  soul  had  been  designed.   A  feeling  she  had  only  felt   truly   with  a  small  number  of  beings  in  her  lifetime.

Seated  finally  in  his  lap  ,  a   long  sigh   left  the  pale  haired  Goddess.         Feeling  hot  breath  against  her  neck  reminding  her  of  her  goal  in  coming  here.   Hands  gripped  securely  onto  him  ,  smiling   mischievously   when  that  look  on  his  face  was  revealed  to  her  as  he  leaned  back  to  get  a  better  look  at  her.   She  played  a  fake  look  of  feigned  shock.   Brows  arched  before   smirking.   ❛  I've  that  effect  on  people.   Meanwhile   you   ,  make  me  feel  as  though  I'm  going  mad  when  I  don't  have  your  hands  on  me.  ❜   She  retorted.   Hinting   at  the  predicament  she  had  found  herself  in  that  had  brought  her  there.

reminder to myself and whoever else needs it to stop feeding the machine. I'm aware I'm yelling into the void but look at the past couple years of games. They're pushing $70, $80, $100!!! for games that are completely unfinished, unpolished, and sometimes completely unplayable. Yes the game showcases were cool. The doom game looks sick and I don't even go there, but they're shaking the shiny keys to distract you and get you swept up in the hype. They're going to push so much fomo marketing to get you to jump for it full price.

Wait for sales. Wait and buy a used copy. Hell, wait a couple days (even hours!!!) after launch and reviews and breakdowns will start coming out. Our game backlogs are already packed, and mr big AAA studio can deal with some of us waiting to see if they actually delivered what was promised.
