Heya Objectified/COTH communities! I'm currently developing a fancomic set in Ankh with my buddies @chloro-form-roc and @cheyezstuffz! It's called Objectified - Dusted Depths

It's basically gonna be like what if Objectified was set in Ankh instead of The Rings with some alterations.

We are currently looking for people who can make storyboards/manage socials, preferably those who have Discord so the full team can actually converse and make ideas.

November 2019: Castle on the Hill

Synopsis

Heidelberg, West Germany 1963 It's the night of the Castle lighting ceremony. Under the cover of a dark summer night, an age-old secret society from the local university meets to induct its newest members. But barely before the words of the rite have been finished, five figures slip out to rejoin the city in its annual festivities. We follow these five - Josef, Klaus, Georg, Peter, and Hans - through their year at university, as they figure out their paths, their lives, themselves, and where they fit into the new generation taking its first steps into the workforce of a divided nation.

First Line

The night sky was illuminated by fireworks, casting a scarlet glow over the small, [West] German city of Heidelberg.

Characters

Josef Weber - 19, 2nd Year Business student, Rich Bitch, heir to an automobile company, takes himself too seriously, red hair and redder temper, actually way less sure of himself than he presents Klaus Müller - 20, 3rd Year Philosophy student, intolerable in a way you'll always tolerate, Han Solo-level confidence in himself and somehow he's right, easy charisma, the kind of guy who doesn't study and aces the test anyway Georg Aachen - 20, 3rd Year Pre-Law student, driest wit in the West, can shrivel anyone with a single look, actually nice if you're not dumb, inexplicably best friends with Klaus Peter Oberlin - 22, Grad Student in Political Science, somehow the baby of his family but forced to be the dad friend to his pals, thinks he has to have everything figured out despite being literally 22 years old Hans Faust - 18, 1st Year Pre-Med student, Shy Guy, sweet but he's probably judging you a little, Stressed, pretty sheltered only child growing up so going through a culture shock experiencing sibling-like relationships

Pre-Reading Thoughts

We've officially made it full-circle back to the WIPs that I've introduced through this account! My first posts all circulated around those five lads and their various exploits, and I can't wait to dive back into it. I don't think I've read the full draft since back around the time I finished it in 2020, but I remember a lot more clearly the various storylines and how they came together than I do for anything else I've discussed so far. In fact, it's crazy to think that I was polishing it off five years ago, because it feels like it's been half that time. Honestly, I don't feel like I have much to say about preparing to read it. I'm in for some dropped sideplots, some emotional soul-searching, and a lot of quips. TBD on how well any of those actually land, but I have a little more faith in my 2019 self's writing ability than I did in, say, 2013. Time to see if I'll eat crow for saying that!

Question 1:

I would say my favorite part of it, is getting to work with my friend weirdoz, one of my favorite things when it comes to creating content is getting to work with people, and the best content is when it's collaborating with other people, I would love to make more aus in the future where it's my idea's combined with someone else's to make something truly great!

So this au is a great vessel for that, weirdoz is an extremely creative man who I look up to and consider a great friend!

I'd say another favorite part of this au is just getting the chance to write again properly! I love writing stories! and haven't really gotten many chances in the past few years so with this au, I'm able to again and that is alot of fun!

What was your favorite part of the design process for Zepp? Are there any concepts that got scrapped while you and Junkary were designing them?

Question 2:

I'd say my most enjoyed part of the design process for Zepperaith was trying to figure out what worked and what didn't trying to make his design was a little tricky, but I think what me and weirdoz did ended up being perfect!

And no not that many honestly! We figured out what we wanted pretty quick though originally he was gonna have more rings on his arms, we decided it made the design look too cluttered, his Halo also changed a bit too!

Can you give us a cryptic poem of where the story could be going? /nf

Hello Everyone in the Objectified/COTH fandom! I’m creating my own comic about multiple razor packs being at war. It would also be about religious beliefs, homes, and how different packs live. Not all of them can live in forests.

This would give more depth to the forest dwellers we know and love.

So, I’m asking you all to send in your own Razor ocs to be put in the comic! Since I’m not too creative. I need rulers for each pack (4), (4) Stone guardians, civilians for each pack (so about 10) and (2) other main characters!

If you want your oc to be added, please provide a short description of characteristics, the pack wanted to be in, and a reference sheet in a reblog, and not through a message! Thank you!

Here is the pack list and description

Pack Safety: Safety guard hoods and masks that come from a slit on their heads. Most mysterious and deadly pack. They will kill with no hesitation anyone that differs from the “standard archetype” of Pack Safety. A usual defect dealt with is their hoods either not completely covering the face and or not being able to slide on and off. Usually developed by kits “too loved” or too hated, due the hood coming automatically on when under stress. This “disability” is sometimes developed by war veterans too, meaning they have to be executed. Long razor heads with not very much variation in color. Usual beastial type is coyote beastial, if not a coyote beastial, immediately assumed to be a hybrid and is quickly killed with the snap of a neck + the mother’s as well. Live in common pine forest.

Pack Seaside: An aquatic pack that lives on riverbeds and under streams. Have beautiful voices like sirens and fins / gills all around them. Small webs in between talons / fingers. Usually tropical fish and seahorse built tails / fins with alligator limbs other than tail. If furry, usually have Beaver beastial roots

Pack Echo: Usually have draping wings connected to their arms like wyverns, large ears, and night vision. Usually the only razor pack with ears and long tails. They kill or leave kits to die with damaged ears or other injuries, due to the inability to survive in such conditions in the mines and caves they live in. Usually have dragon / bat beastial roots.

Pack Guard: The most loose in control pack, usually with hybrids from other pack types. Thick rubbery glands around face, and usually have magical powers related to thunder (electric razors) only razor type to be able to purr, a signal only used by their pack. Have glowing glands that light up in dark caves/ at night. By far the most artsy and creative pack. Least fearsome pack, though have the most physical strength by far. No definitive beastial type, but bear beastial ancestors were painted on their trees and canvases. Live in common pine forests

Y'all joked about Shadow x Zepp (which is an interesting ship ngl-) and this reminded me of the HH au where Sonic "has the hots for Shadow". Is that a canon ship or did Any just say that as an assumption?

Shadow and Zep’s relationship is entirely a joke and not cannon to the actual story. In reality, Zep just thinks he’s way too serious and that’s funny.

In HungryHero.EXE, Sonic is both Bisexual and AroAce spec. Before his cannibalistic urges arrived he 100% liked Shadow romantically, though it’s unclear if Shadow liked him back. If the events of act 1 never happened (Tails death) and everything eventually became fine, Sonic and Shadow would’ve become a couple.
