CWs!”Block Tales” Embodiments

NOTE: The Embodiments askable on my @blog-tales-decasquad Ask Blog.

Brace yourself: I am figuring out how to describe things as I go. If it’s confusing, that may be why… ,:D

Context for how the Embodiments exist in CWs!Robloxia:

The CWs!Embodiments are like “gods” *almost*. Each one representing multiple things! Their names are the thing they most represent/are associated with… With HATRED, of course, basically being the most powerful Embodiment.

Greed, Solitude, Fear, and Hatred.

…There are many other gods that represent lots of other things, or even similar things to them.

The Embodiments in Deca’s Mind are more of—children to these Embodiments, in a way. They are vaguely-aware of what those main-Embodiments know about. After Deca’s scarring experience with the Ghostwalker.

Since CWs is more of an overall-Roblox AU, with multiple Worlds connected to it (each world having EVER-SO-SLIGHTLY different rules), the Embodiments exist in a sort of non-physical existence within each and every Being. But Animals and Insects aren’t really of use to them…

The True Embodiments are physically in their own Pocket-Dimension, you could say. Usually they only interact with Mortals through Dreams/Cursed Objects.

*Though “Child”-Embodiments are usually in parts of a Persons Mindscape. Unless awoken, they will NEVER interact with the Owner of the Mind unless the Owner touches one of said-Cursed Objects. They might sometimes mildly affect dreams, but that is it.

Even though Miniworlds/Gameworlds are have a similar-purpose to a Pocket Dimension… “Mini/Gameworlds” are far more limited in size.

Homeworlds are larger, and very often the size of entire Planets (if not LITERALLY being entire planets)… But a Dimension, is often a lot larger than that (even if it’s a cave that’s cramped in places).

Dimensions also likely have their own Biomes (Yes my brain is thinking of Minecraft. No there isn’t a simple Build-your-own Nether Portal method to visit an Embodiment)

Pocket-Dimensions are also very weird. They may have different rules with Gravity/Time/Even Space. The ground could literally be Flat, or Gravity could be affected by objects/pieces of ground, with their own pull. Kind of like how in a certain-Mario Game (Mario Galaxy I think?), there are these other planets you can get to in levels…

Each Embodiment’s Dimension:

HATRED’s Dimension would appear similar to the one in Block Tales. (The few amalgamated-Souls that are there, amalgamated to nothing, were likely victims to a FATE WORSE THAN DEATH :}) (Don’t worry tho they only end up there if they Corrupt into oblivion in a veeery specific way...)

A Child-of-HATRED would have ITS part of the Mindscape appear similar to that, though ITS Mindscape-Area would reflect the Owner of the Mind’s HATES.

GREED’s Dimension would also look alike to the one in Block Tales. Though it would probably be a Cave for the most part, with the Hands of Greed being all over the place.

A Child-of-GREED would have its part of a Mindscape reflect whatever the Mind’s Owner is greedy for. If that’s power? It would probably have Weapons/Magic Items lying in treasure piles. If it’s money? You can guess. If it’s… Recognition? Or Praise? The enemies/creatures there likely try to manipulate anyone around with that, until THE CHILD comes…

SOLITUDE’s Dimension. Lonely Caves, constantly-quacking Ducks in THE LIGHT-VOID, for some reason?… Also some Watery Cave Areas.

Children-of-Solitude have a similar Mindscape-Area to this. If there is a specific animal aside from a Duck the Owner may relate to, those Animals may be there too. Regardless of whether it fits the area, and is aquatic or not.

FEAR’s Dimension. Forest, Doors, and Stairs; both leading up into the sky, and down into its own WHITE/DARK-VOID… The few creatures there will run from anyone who comes too near—Any larger-ones will be the reason one feels FEAR though.

Children-of-Fear also have their places reflect … yadda-yadda you know the words.

Full Explanation on the Original(CWs)-Embodiments:

TL;DR: The Embodiments you ask on the Blog-Tales-DecaSquad Blog, are “Children” (in a way) of the Embodiments they are named after. They reflect the Embodiments they are named after, but are not the TRUE Embodiments really.

The TRUE Embodiments are gods that can affect any and all living people in CWs!Robloxia—if people do not watch their emotions, and/or touch a Cursed-Object.

After the scars left behind from the Ghostwalker-situation in Deca’s previous-Universe, they just sit in Deca’s mindscape as Deca’s “Inner-Demons”… Because It touched the Cursed-Sword and ‘woke them up’.

HATRED now also goes by the name ABHORRENCE, because IT decided that was a more fitting name for ITSELF. Also because ABHORRENCE is needlessly-extra-

IT likes disguising ITSELF as a Robloxian, despite literally all of the Embodiment’s knowing what IT is. Often IT tries to hide ITS true motive in other things… All for the sake of HATRED and DESTRUCTION.

…Also IT just likes pretending to be Builderman. Not sure why. IT also likes tormenting Conscience.

GREED was initially going to go by Rapacity, but it hated the spelling, and decided not to copy “ABHORRENCE”.

Its body is made up of whatever objects it finds/forms out of its arms. If Greed wanted, it could turn itself into a Snake or a Dragon. All it’d need to do is grab the parts, and mess around… :)

…It likes any and all trinkets it can find. It doesn’t know why, but it isn’t very picky.

EXILE is SOLITUDE’s “new”-name. It also goes by ISOLATION…

It is still a blob, but with three eyes now; and octopus-arms sticking out of it. It can form more arms at-will.

Sometimes it cries when SORROW cries. Since being close by and seeing it crying occasionally makes EXILE cry too. They’re crying-buddies. (Poor Conscience)

FEAR is now ANXIETY. Though it often just goes by FEAR, because the word “Anxiety” gives it anxiety.

It is more bug-like, and has legs now!… Somehow it is still good at disguising as a tree though.

Genuinely has a 50% chance of breaking down the second HATRED exists near it. Poor thing has trauma from IT. And IT enjoys tormenting FEAR.

Delusion (A more-fitting name is “IGNORANCE”, actually)

“Hurhurhur… Let’s go do this and ignore that it’s a bad idea for multiple reasons, and refuse to think about why it’d be so bad!!”

Conscience’s 2nd worst-enemy. Greed’s #1 wingman.

Form is a bit like a Robloxian, except tall, and with a weirdly-shaped head that looks like an upside-down triangle with the tip cut off. It also lacks visible-eyes, and has two hands attached to its head, reminiscent of Fear’s, covering where its eyes should be.

Sorrow (Depresso urchin thingy)

It is sad. And it randomly gets angry and screechy when it’s in a very bad mood.

Conscience (Right and wroooonnnggg compassss)

It is tired. Especially since it’s basically looking after 6 angry/rude crying/screaming children on its own.

Only Embodiment it can stand being around is FEAR, because at least FEAR will listen MORE OFTEN than the others… Everyone else makes it anxious.

i nod i nod,, im just going to be rambling a bit here because i wanted to wait to answer this until i came up with more ^^;

I can see Guest and Chance having a bit of a rivalry going on between them - Guest wants to keep you safe and sound and Chance wants to impress you no matter if it's reckless or not. Guest thinks Chance is being, well, reckless and stupid, and Chance thinks that Guest is being boring and 'too tame'

I also can see Guest and Two Time having a bit of a one-sided thing going on; Guest being hesitant to let you near the cultist without someone else around. I mean, have you seen them when they have a knife?

and while I don't exactly write for them, I feel like I need to give Mafioso and his men a special mention because I like them and the rework they got because like, imagine being carried by one of them bridal style while the others kill the remaining survivors

and when you're the last one standing, they just end up hiding in a corner together and coddle you

this is based upon the concept that the specter has twisted and forced coolkid's body into a more monstrous form so that 7n7 won't be able to recognize him as easily. can you imagine only recognizing your child once he is killing you and understanding that this monster is your son? this grotesque awful thing that has haunted your nightmares for weeks? can you imagine that utter heartbreak?

I also included my headcanon that 7n7 fragments and 'shatters' when he dies. Like shattered glass.

I just think it's an interesting concept. there is also a great deal of tragedy in it, too. you're free to send asks in about this :) !

BWD has been in my head since late 2023 and was birthed from making scenarios to edit audios lmao, it's so riveting to finally visualize it and give it a name, designs and actually write some plot bunnies down.

Yeah as you probably gathered Medkit is not doing too hot, he's pretty unstable while on the run. I'd like to add that Sword knows nothing and as far as he knows Medkit is missing again and probably somewhere dead in the ditch. Medkit sends his care packages anonymously to hospitals and takes zero credit for the people he manages to save. He paints his horns brown to not stand out (in DIH we trust) and trims his antlers branches to make himself less recognizable, this does little to keep the government (SFOTH) off his ass.

Medkit upgrades his gear and makes it so its like one of those all in one survival knives with like a fork and spoon when they fan out yk which ones, except for dangerous weapons. He can transform his suitcase like a rubikscube into a shotgun, sniper, automatic, sentry, minigun, clawed gloves, fucking CHAINSAW. The rest is just stuff that was alr there but he added special handles to keep it in place and better attack with it (so surgical knives, scissors, bandages for binding demons)

He's a sadist and at the same time masochist, quite a terrifying combo.

Banhammer is essentially like: I can fix him. Lol.

Medkit attains eternal youth and life with his crystals, which comes at a price of him slowly detoriating from the inside, his sanity following suit. He cannot heal that rot, it's always present yet he still gets urges, on numerous occasions he tried to stab himself enough times and then heal to get rid of it somehow. One such notorious scene is a scenario I call The bathtub scene. Medkit tries to CARVE the rot out of himself and bleeds in the bathtub (still during the wanted arc) and Banhammer discovers him on the brink of death. This is when Banhammer finds out for the first time abt what's been really going on with Medkit under the hood, as you can tell it's pretty traumatizing for both parties.

Medkit has a bit of hallucinations in the beginning of the wanted arc, and as Banhammer falls in love with him Medkit starts using him. Over time however Banhammer's genuine affection and care strikes a cord with Medkit and yes he slowly gets better!

When Banhammer joins him on his criminal crusade they team up to bust Church of the true eye, but in order to do that they need more information, a plan to infiltrate, and most importantly be real quiet abt the entire situation because of Ban's status. Medkit is convicned there are eye spies all around Inpherno and as such they need to use unconventional methods to travel all the way to Lost Temple and find the main base where all the higher ups are (Medkit was always restricted to warehouses and smaller offices)

They commit ultrakill doom eternal on they asses and Banhammer goes: mom but I love him 🥀🥀 and the SFOTH agree to let the unstable murderous artifical demigod live with the other extremely brash and violent natural demigod who can sort of keep him in reins, while the other does the same and makes Banhammer more empathetic towards mortals who he so calleously mocked before and disrespected. They both learn something valuable from eachother. Atp Medkit is almost 50 years old. Y am I mentioning this since he can't age anyways? Idk for timetables sake.

Medkit is then allowed to make himself public again. He reunites with Sword, but is forced to keep his job secret, he operates under an acronym in his other proffesional life. Medkit becomes pretty famous and is credited for the mysterious great leaps in medicine in recent years, he's invited to talk shows and interviews, all of that ofc in his black death doctor mask, he walks in that in the upper levels of Banland too.

Medkit often pays magazines to write articles insulting his strength compared to his husband so he has an easier time dealing with escapees who make escape plans thinking he's stupid.

Medkit is the brains, Banhammer is the brawns.

Once during spin the bottle everyone tried to guess his job and he was guessed to be a stripper, assassin or government agent. He's a bit of all of them.

Since he has revolutionized Banland's security systems and added a bazillion cameras, Banland has become impenetrable and 99.9% inescapable.

Banhammer can view footage real-time from any of those cameras anytime he wants with the visor Medkit built for him.

Medkit is quite sadistic to terrible people imprisoned in the deepest parts of Banland, and due to them having a life sentence word never gets out how downright freaky and crazy he is.

In the upper banlands word is that those who saw his face never see the light of day again.

As far as the public knows he's very calm, stoic and professional in his work.

Banhammer and Medkit have very different ways of capturing criminals, contrary to popular belief Medkit is more brutal because he straight up murders you and then you wake up in a cell. which is why Medkit is mostly relegated to managing and running the prison while Banhammer does off field missions. It's bad for PR!

Medkit uses hologram tech to change his horns when he needs it.

-Fedora REALLY DISLIKES Split. he has been tripped multiple times by Split’s Banana Peels—he is POSITIVE Split has been doing it on purpose. (Blame Bive… “Indirectly” XD)

-Somehow, Mozelle intimidates him

taph's obsession / worship-y behavior with builderman extends to you, but its much less of a secret unlike their behavior with builderman. everyone practically knows of taph's obsession with you by now - how they practically trip over their feet to impress you

they give me, like, once the obsession starts they start to hover around you more and more until it's painfully obvious they're interested in you. they're the first to run in and save you, dragging you by the arm to a hiding spot and setting a tripmine down in whatever entrance there is

they're the first one to bring you a medkit

they're the first to wake you up whenever you sleep in

1x isn’t.. purely made of negativity in this AU, their hair is the positivity of his form and her body is all the negativity.. therefore they counteract! positive rebuilds or makes something better, and negative makes something eat away at itself or break down! But not that intensely, or the floor would corrode under them.. (or something along those lines, nothing is set in concrete for this au yet)

Shedletsky is.. let’s just say a not cool guy! he made 1x for research purposes, just to see if he could.. 1x is basic subjugated to a multitude of different types of ‘tests’- to see how tough this creation Shedletsky made is- basically torture y’know whatever, like removing the organs from their transparent chest to see if they actually need them.

fun fact! Telamon calls 1x ‘little bug’ because he sees himself as a higher being than them, that 1x is a bug that he can just.. squash.. also because 1x makes bug noises sometimes 😇

Corrupt Worlds ROBLOX AU Explanation:

A Universe with multiple Worlds connected to it. Each world is kind of like a pocket dimension; a Robloxian can jump between these “Miniworlds” or “Gameworlds” by using their Menu (A holographic-screen that they can either will to appear, or say aloud “/Menu” to access. It can also be used to view other living being’s status/health/etc!)

The former-“Hero” in Block Tales became corrupted by the Swords, banned, and then they ended up in a new Universe because their Old-One basically disowned them. Their former family is no longer their own… And somehow, despite this apparent dark situation, they found a new one.

…Only problem? Blud is mentally ill and still is obsessed with cursed magic objects.

Anyway unrelated to all of that: The supposed-“Hero’s” name is Deca South.

making a post about how the fandom characterises elliot bcs ts pmo icl 🥀🥀🥀

(small cw for mentioned attempted murder towards a child [fictional ofc]. but this is the forsaken fandom so i dont think most people will care. oh also this is a REALLY long post so. beware)

sooo im pretty new to the fandom but after having browsed almost every sfw 7n7 fic on ao3, its safe to say elliot's characterisation (or, well, mischaracterisation), is becoming a HUGE problem. a lot of people make him pissy around n7 and c00lkidd, which, to be fair, he has a right to be pissy! but the way they execute this is where things go wrong.

this is a more extreme example, but here's the gist of an au my friend found on tiktok (not linking for the creator's sake, which, speaking of, if you've seen this au and know the creator, please don't harass them. i mean i shouldn't have to say that but im still putting it out there):

honestly i agree with the last sentence he said, even i know this is bs even though i've only been a forsaken fan for like a week or smth 😭😭🥀🥀 to show you why, let me break down what we do know of how elliot's personality, how he feels about n7 and c00lkidd, and how he expresses it:

he is generally portrayed as a sweet and kind person, who always wants to help wherever he can.

he 'hates' n7 due to what c00lkidd did to the pizzeria (according to the fanmade wiki), though nothing has (canonically) ever been said about his feelings towards c00lkidd himself (to my knowledge)

he is not openly hostile towards n7, and has never canonically said anything 'mean' to his face, only acted passive aggressive (e.g. "...just get going").

i do disagree with his feelings towards n7 being 'hate' rather than just 'strongly dislike' (trust me, theyre VERY different things), but i digress. even if we were to say elliot hated n7, some people portray him as not even hating, but loathing him (this is an even bigger problem in pizzaburger fics/aus imo). if you want to write a complicated/negative relationship between two characters who are not your own, it's vital to know the difference between dislike, hate and loathe (as seen below).

the reason i say elliot strongly dislikes n7 as opposed to hate is because hatred is often accompanied with a sense of hostility (while dislike is more avoidant, which fits elliot more imo when we look at their canon interactions). if you hate someone, you will not want to help them, and to be fair, i've read a handful of fics where elliot straight up refuses to give n7 pizza, or is at least hesitant. i dont think that's how elliot would behave. yes he is mad at n7 for not controlling his son, and has a grudge against him, but at his core, elliot is a kind guy. even if he wasn't, he'd never leave someone to die, no matter how temporary.

but continuing on the whole 'elliot loathes n7' dynamic, it becomes even more jarring when you apply it as an 'enemies to lovers' pizzaburger dynamic. even more so if you don't do the work to make it well paced. here are some tips on how you can do that:

pay heed to the rest of this post and do NOT make elliot too aggressive towards 007n7 in your fic. otherwise, it may feel too forced, especially if you don't want to go through the slowburn route. feel free to let the guy be passive aggressive though, just don't make him feel uncontrollable hatred every time he sees 07 (i prefer to think he feels manageable disdain, though i think you can tell by now).

on the other side of the coin, do NOT make n7 too pathetic. im all for him being a soggy wet cat, but at the end of the day, that's a grown ass man that was once very similar to c00lkidd. at the very least, i don't think he'd be crying left and right, considering this is a former terrorist, lol.

this is more me telling you guys to be creative than giving tips on pacing (since im not very creative myself, so i dont have many tips myself rn) but if you want to write the exact moment elliot began to like and respect n7, i don't really like the idea of n7 achieving that by bodyblocking for elliot?? like. it's not typically executed right bcs again. it often does what i advised against in the above two points. if you wanna do smth like that in your fic/comic, try comprimising by making it a clone block instead, and letting n7 be a REALLY good distractor like those aggressive n7 main. (i left this incomplete on accident when i posted this lol)

just overall make sure elliot is respectful to n7 during the late pining and post establishing the relationship stages!! it's perfectly fine if you want him to say 'mean' stuff to him that he doesnt mean (think of how siblings, friends, and again, sometimes partners, joke with each other. tough love or wtv), but don't make him have a hate boner for the guy lol. unless youre writing smut where there are actual hate boners involved, i aint getting involved in allat.
