There is no reason for me to want to use cameras because I will never want to give up my autonomy in creating art. I never want to become reliant on an inhuman object for expression, least of all if that object is created and controlled by manufacturing companies. I paint not because I want a painting but because I love the process of painting. So even in a future where everyone’s accepted it, I’m never gonna sway on this.

Ok fuck it you know something I've never really quite understood about part of the Leftist vs Liberals debate on voting.
So so so many people act like its either-or. Like you're either dedicating your entire life to voting and promoting politicians and phone banking or whatever, or you're a True Rebel waiting for The Uprising to Come and Solve Everything.
But like. In my experience. Me voting is just me kinda go 'which person seems kinda good? Which one at least sucks the least? ok lemme go vote.' and then its anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour tops of my life. And I still have plenty of time to do Stuff and participate in Conversations about Other Important Things. And also you can admit and acknowledge and understand that the system As Is kinda sorta really sucks ass, but also still admit and acknowledge and understand that at this current point in time we are still living in the suckass system and do something to alleviate the suckass At Least A Little while also working to bolster/create/advocate for Other Systems.
I guess just like. it's not a black or white thing. Between 'top 500 volunteers for a specific politician/voting office/etc' and 'absolutely positively not voting at all' there is a gray area called 'vote and then just do other stuff'.

Look, I am all for people being verbally abused less, but I don't want to burn the planet to appease possible racists.
Also, my problem with "customer service centers" isn't the accent of the person answering the phone, it's giving the same information seven times and getting no closer to an actual answer/solution. It's being "let me just transfer you"ed six times despite choosing the exact, supposedly correct, options on the telephone tree. It's spending half an hour on a telephone tree just to be hung up on, which by the way makes me mad sounding to the first human who finally answers regardless of their accent or location of work. It's getting a tech support associate who tells me I am wrong and there is no problem while I am literally video taping my screen showing them changing things manually from the back end in real time while they lie to me and call me an idiot.
Maybe if companies spent money to fix their phone systems and train their staff to actually handle common problems callers wouldn't be mad from the word go. And changing the person's accent also isn't going to fix the fact that far too often they don't speak the language they are supposed to provide support in(so often, so, so often I encounter this - I'm looking at you especially DISH) so maybe spend the money on teaching them or hiring native speakers of the language of the region.
Maybe if the Indian men didn't say crude, sexist shit to me I wouldn't respond rudely (this happened three separate times).

AI can be a valuable resource. For instance, I'm not great at tone, so I ask Grammerly's AI what my tone is whenever I finish an assignment. I also use the AI to rewrite sentences I'm reading that don't make sense. Really I use Grammerly's AI to act as a second opinion proofreader. On LinkedIn learning (the videos are part of my actual classes), you can ask their new AI to retrieve sections of the transcript for notes (I was starting to fall behind because I take so long to simplify notes), this has also helped me understand the concepts better, because I find drawn our explorations confusing. Of course, it can make mistakes so always check the transcript briefly (Ctrl+F) to make sure it didn't drawn any wild conclusions.
AI is just like any other tool. You can go to Wikipedia to get information for your assignments the same way you can go to AI. Plagiarism is plagiarism. Stealing work from academic papers or ripping text from Wikipedia, it's no different from getting the AI to write your paper. However, you can use those sourses to improve your paper, the same way you can use AI.
