Charlie said through a mouthful of Froot Loops. Vaggie kissed her on the forehead.

“I haven’t seen him babe.”

Husk nudged Angel, making the spider demon nearly spit out his drink.

“They’re looking for Lucifer…”

Angel quickly stood up, and headed to Lucifer’s room, telling Charlie he’d look for her dad.

“Lulu?”

Angel stepped into his room. It was a mess, with books, ducks, markers, spread out on the floor. Angel carefully stepped over the mess.

Lucifer was huddled under a comforter, the lump of blanket rocking back and forth occasionally.

Angel smiled softly, and approached him.

“Lulu? I know yer in there…”

“m tired.”

Angel laughed.

“I can see that. Are you feeling little too?”

“Nuh uh! M big!”

“Oh really? How old are ya feeling, lovey?”

“No! M big! I’m supposed to take care of you…”

Angel laughed.

“You don’t need to be big for me all the time.”

Angel hugged Lucifer.

“I wan a stuffy…”

Angel smiled.

“Okay, babe.”

Angel grabbed a duck plushie, and Lucifer emerged from the blanket, rubbing his eyes and wearing pajamas with ducks all over them.

Lucifer snuggled into Angel’s fluff. Angel handed the plushie to him.

“See? That wasn’t so hard, sweetie.”

Lucifer giggled.

“You not scary!”

“I am! I’m….the tickle monster!”

Angel poked Lucifer in the ribs, which escalated into him tickling the little.

Lucifer giggled, his face red.
