is homophobia established in severance for innies. curious because Irving has this similar romantic loneliness of being shown heterosexual relationships often with minimal acknowledgement to his own. It could be mixed with the employee relationship issues but from his perspective, Lumon is fine with acknowledging romance between young straight innies with the clayanimation? He has so much bitterness towards them in a way so similar to how we get treated. That their love is allowed, encouraged and teased and yet his so forgotten unless it's shoved in his face like a punishment. Just. Hrm. Hmm

Wendell & Wild for #moviemonday The premise: Kat is an orphan, rebellious teenager, cause of her parents' death, and a Hell Maiden. She's being sent to a new school as a last resort program through the prison, and there she finds herself surrounded by poodles, artists, nuns, and a ghost town being bought out by evil. Everyone's got demons and Kat's are real. Their names? Wendell and Wild 😈 Honestly, this movie was a lot of fun. The music is punk, there's diversity in characters - each face is different - and there's even lgbtq+ representation with a trans character. The message about facing your demons, fighting for what's right, and not judging people by their cover is an excellent one, and I was pleasantly surprised by Siobhan's character and actions. I wish there had been more about Sister Helley's background 😊 The stop motion clay animation is amazing, and the credits show how much work went into each scene! The post-credits scene was so freaking cute 😍 Key and Peele, Angela Bassett, Lyric Ross, and James Hong (among others) voice the characters. Solid 9/10 and I'll watch it again. I've been working on a little something small in my evenings. I've always wanted to do atleast one clay like texture for a character in 3D, that incompasses some Mograph skills ive learnt over the years. The focus was on materials, to get that finger print texture working, the lighting setup and to push just the expressions on the rig.
