The One That Almost Got Away!

Absolutely, there is a story behind this extremely sexy work of art!

Last year, a deposit was put down on a preorder for the 1:4 scale version. Time moved on, but it didn't go unnoticed by me that the statue had actually been released! A direct message was sent to my middleman who told me the studio goofed. To be honest, I legitimately think they messed up and didn't want to admit it. 😑

My joyful heart was broken and at this point, the only place I could locate him was on eBay for inflated prices by shady sellers. 😭 Hope had been lost on ever being able to get my grubby little paws on one of the most drool worth statues of the genius jester. 😔 Fast forward to March of this year! While typically conducting the usual daily searches, the 1:6 scale version was located! At this point I didn't care which version was obtained; I desired him so badly!!

Issues with the listing, he didn't come with his original box and would have to endure the rough journey all the way from Japan! The price he was listed for, the possible risks were worth it! 💙

While waiting eagerly for his arrival, much pacing was done. Then on a Monday, the day ultimately arrived! 🥹 My flashy man was safely home! There was breakage however, mostly the base. With a trusty bottle of gorilla glue, I repaired things the best to my abilities. Clear epoxy will need to be acquired to fill in cracks as certain broken parts were crushed to dust! Still, damage could have been way worse!

Buggy comes with two interchangeable heads as well. Truth be told, as much as I fondly love the ponytail look, the post time skip head will be used. Oh and it should be noted, that there are a total of 88 made.

I've got other items to share, but those will be saved for separate entries. This piece of flawless perfection deserved a post all his own.

So remember when I made that post that was like, "If this gets enough responses I'll post some cool animal parts" or something? I'm gonna post that now along with bonuses! People with strong loves and connections to animal oddities and parts that would otherwise be thrown away, BEHOLD!

Mainly wanted to show off these SIIIICK RAM HORNS

Backstory: a sheep at the vet clinic my husband works at had to get his cool horns of manhood removed cause one was digging into his face. Thus why one of them has hair on it. He should be healing well without this annoying horn! Apparently he was some sheep similar to this according to my husband:

My new oddity corner in our new apartment!

-Alligator heads my grandpa had for years. I kept them after he died some half year ago ish.

- A Shofar (hollowed ram's horn) that is to be played similar to a brass instrument. Lip vibrations or whatever. Found in my grandparents barn at some point. Origin unknown. Is it true these are Hebrew instruments??

-A shark in a jar. Likely a spiny dogfish. I think most nowadays are fake plastic decoys in a jar, but this one like, has bits floating in there so is it more likely real? Mom gave it to me when I was younger. She had it before that though.

-Box turtle shells, one with scutes and one without. One brought to the house by our aunts dog. The other I found while walking in the woods near her house.

-a small deer antler, found in the wilderness at my grandmas house, shed porcupine quills from a friend of my husbands at work, small hollow horn that may be a goats? rooster spurs that were shaved off, and some horse teeth are there but kinda small, and others are either horse molars or pig teeth. I also have a piece of a boar's tusk somewhere but idk rn.

Then there are bones at our prev place that I need to bring here. Either from the vet clinic or our grandparents cow field:

I also have ostrich feathers, shed from a cute ostrich couple where my husband used to work for some time but I'm too lazy to snap pictures of those.

Apparently it can also be illegal to have certain animal parts? Cause like you cant always immediately know if they were obtained humanely. But I give these histories to help reassure people that I hate animal abuse and mistreatment and didnt EXTRACT any of these unless it was a tooth impacting an animals health and ability to eat or in general causing them bad health. Others were obtained naturally. I can assure I never harmed any animals to get these parts! :)

INVADER ZIM HEADCANONS BECAUSE. YAAAYYYYY

Main characters:

-Irken show affection by entangling their antenna together. So Zim wraps his antenna around Dibs hair spike

-Zim shoplifts candy from the store (and Dibs fridge) other times he gets Gir to steal stuff

-Once Dib ate cup noodles for 3 weeks straight. He hasn't done it since

-Dib still has the snarl beast

-He's also very good at drawing, most of his drawings being of him and Zim

-Dib probably gets dizzy when he stands up too fast

-Gaz and Tak like playing games together, Tak is super bad at them though

-Gaz is really into robotics, that's why Professor Membrane doesn't pressure her into science like he does with Dib. In fact she programmed her "security" plushies all by herself

-Gaz HAS and WILL doxx people

-Gir and MiMi are very lady and the tramp coded

-Gir would be best friends with Jenny Wakeman

-Gir CONSTANTLY steals drinks, not only from people he knows either. Like in a restaurant he will just take a big sip of someones drink and walk away

Other characters:

-Zita is a theater kid, she puts the most effort in school plays compared to everyone else

-Carl has literally anything and everything in his beanie. Need a spare pencil? He's got it. Need a notebook? It's in there. Need a bag of chips? You know he has it. But he won't ever give it to you. Like Pinkie Pie except Carl isn't helpful

-Gretchen actually can tell really good jokes, she just doesn't tell them

-Jessica and Letty are lesbian I swear to god they are

-Poonchy is a lot like Tobias from the amazing world of gumball except maybe a little less mean

-Mr. Elliot is Ms. Bitters son, he likes being around her so he got the same job as her (despite her protests)

-Mr. Dwicky probably killed that guy in the vents. Among us imposter ass

-Miyuki and Sporks tallest uniforms seem to be slightly different than Red and Purples, the slight adjustments are there to prevent Zims monsters from eating them

General:

-Hugs from behind are very beloved since you're basically hugging their PAK which is like, their everything

-Irken relationships are heavily looked down upon until they are officialized

-Tallest DNA is used for reproduction by being put in a lil tube until a smeet develops

-Tallest colors are passed down (I don't reaaally headcanon this but I think it's a cute idea)

(Not super invader zim related, but it's one of my favorite headcanons)

-Alien hominid landed on earth after the Irken empire took over his planet. He really hates Zim

Who The Heck Is Puggy?!

In Japan from 2017-2019, there was a live attraction at the Tokyo Tower called "Phantom." I stumble upon merch from it now and again. This tin stack is the first specific item I've added to the collection from it. 💙

One of the unique characters in this live show was "Puggy," Buggy's personal bodyguard and apprentice. It's a real shame he never appeared anywhere else as I really like his overall design! Well, he did have a quick cameo in "One Piece Party." 😸

Buggy is looking so sexy and intimidating here. 🤤 The nifty thing about this tin is, it comes apart into three separate ones!

Until now, this was another rare item that I'd never set eyes on before! It's mostly can badges from Phantom that cross my path. Which do naturally need to ultimately join my prized collection too! 😺

I seek knowledge, I must know, what show is your white whale?

Fame L.A. It ran for 22 episodes back in 1997/98, was never released for home viewing and now is practically lost media bar a few clips online. I have spent many an hour searching the depths of the internet for it, nada. There are traces of where it once was hosted, but all those links are now completely defunct.

My only hope now is that someone recorded it on vhs back when it was broadcast and will eventually rip it and put it in the VHS vault on the internet archive or something (or, I work out how to get a hold of stuff from the Broadcast Archive in the National Library of Sweden in Stockholm because they have the full run of it, but it's not publicly available, you have to have a research reason as to why you want to view it, and then you can only view it on their equipment in the library to boot!)

Unlocked toxic gamer mode for the first time when I saw people being uncomfortable about the method to obtaining the shadow mantle "because you have no other choice if you wanna beat the knight" just do it without the mantle. Pussy. (<- the real pussy was me, because I was also really uncomfortable with that method and went out of my way to avoid it, sinking two weeks into that fight)

(Is it worse to play an uncomfortable game or to cause everyone to be defeated in battle over and over and over and over and over again all so you can defend the area you've arbitrarily marked as the moral high ground? Am I not, in another font, still making Kris watch their friends get hurt? Am I at fault for stubbornly persisting, or are they for collaborating with the knight?)
