I never posted my completely finished Shepard armour here! I’ll share some photos as I get them, but I’m really proud whenever I see this cosplay in motion because I fuckin made that shit and it’s comfortable to wear and it moves perfectly holy shit I actually did it so here is a video!

I almost gave up several times but l’m glad I pushed through - I’m so grateful for the response to all this hard work both at Dragon Con and from everyone who followed along with this build online. I have a highlight on my insta stories (@ mockingnerd) that shows the progress as it went, and made a bunch of videos on TT @ livelaughlongsword.

Despite Tali not being romanceable as Female Shepard even though she should have been, they are my favorite ship in the game and it was so sweet to take these pictures together with @ladytoxie. ☺️

Happy birthday Commander Shepard! They will be born on April 11, 2154 🤭

This character means so much to me, especially as life shifts, as I grow and when I experience her story in the midst of that.

I hope to pull this cosplay out for another event soon. Maybe Nerd Nite LA if it's cool enough that evening?

After a month and a half of figuring out how to use foam and contact cement and buckles for the first time, Commander Shepard is ready for Halloween!

Still processing this year’s Dragon Con a bit and will clog up your tags with more cosplay photos when I have them, but wanted to say a huge thank you for the lovely responses, both in person and my ridiculous mashup on here haha. I love these two characters so so much and while Gideon’s always fun to do, I worked my ass off on this Shepard build and I was so relieved it came together. (Even won second place in the Masquerade hallway contest!)

It was also super rad to finally make it to the meetups for both fandoms, everyone was so kind. I hope to return to them both next year!

Worked with some talented Ukrainian artists on a Cerberus crew/Normandy SR-2 uniform. Always loved this uniform and so happy with the way it came out—it’s just how I imagined it would be in real life.
