ideal living situation is what i call the 'sitcom special' : having all your closest friends live in the same apartment building or neighborhood where you each have your own space but can wander in and out of eachothers homes at will, seemingly always welcome and never at bad times. and also all of you only have jobs when its important to the plot.

I probably missed some stuff, but i tried to brainstorm a good list. Be honest with yourself..

If youre a jack of all trades that gets pulled in every direction as a spare set of hands, pick what youd enjoy the most. If on your commune everyone rotates jobs and duties, pick whatever one youd volunteer for most often, or youd be best at.

This isn't the perfect hypothetical commune, you'll have to trade with neighbors, or encounter the outside world for medicine and supplies sometimes. You can play music and tell stories after suppertime.

Ok, but everytime murderbot refers to some collective marriage or polyamorous-colleague-nomad situation with some shared kids and a farm or a cool bit of research i just... I want.

I don't even necessarily want/need all the connections to be romantic. I just want found family and communicative, open, collective care type relationships so that I can cut up fresh fruit and veg for the week and not worry it'll go bad, and we can pool our funds and maybe get a house with a garden, and I can have a kid that has plenty of parents besides me so I don't have to give up my own goals amidst my disability and fatigue to make sure they're getting what they need.

Commune!Silco for @sigilmint <3 notes about design choice: I think his hair would be grown out at this point in the story, + I think the herald comforted Silco before he healed him, which explains the fingerprints on the shoulder. His eye looks the same and functions; however, it no longer affects his health.

COMMUNE

I've been kicking around sketches of this moment in the campaign for a while now (like a few years...) and finally worked it out!

Even though Lamia is mechanically a sorlock, in practice she's flavoured more like a Grave Cleric. Unfortunately her patron the Raven Queen was really elusive/never directly contacted her, and since she didn't have access to the Commune spell, things got a little difficult. At one point our party got so desperate for any sort of direction, we broke into the catacombs and I RP'd an intense Speak with Dead ritual that I burned a high level spell slot on while the rest of the party had to distract guards and monks. Thankfully the DM allowed it to essentially work as the Commune spell!

the adults at this commune were "runners" that would go for supplies while everyone stayed in the village. the kids had chores like cooking and cleaning and taking care of animals and this barn like WOW that is too much work.

mom said i should be glad were not there since i "have it so good" but like...at least she went outside!!

she didnt like talking about her uncle much. she said he was an artist and taught the kids how to draw and express themselves (which is really cool!! i wonder if thats what those drawings were?)

i asked why she left and she just said she didnt like it which like...yeah the chores suck but she got to go outside!! and have friends!!

i asked her if her uncle is still there and she said hes probably dead but like...she sounded kinda happy about it??

The suzerain flag is largely based on the in-game one, though it always bothered me how it describes six additional smaller suns orbiting the main sun, yet the in-game visual only shows a red halo. The commune flag is based on the collage mode secret picture depicting its formation. The Zone of Control & Moralintern flags are based on user LeahBastard's designs from reddit
