I need more content of Shen Qingqiu and Mobei Jun becoming ... not QUITE friends, but once Mobei Jun understands that Shen Qingqiu is NOT flirting with his husband I think they could vibe?

Them just sitting in a room quietly for an hour because binghe had some demon clan to deal with so shen qingqiu was gonna visit airplane bro but hes caught up with finalizing some trade agreement documents. Neither says more than 5 words total the whole time and both would consider it a pleasant interaction.

They could bond over having a scarily competent spouse who can burst into tears on command. THE POTENTIAL THE ORIGINALS HAD IF THE WRITERS WEREN'T SOO FOCUSED ON TEARING KLAUS AWAY FROM HOPE AND LETTING HIM BE AN ACTUAL PARENT.

like where did klaus really have time with hope

s1: hope's not born yet. 

s2: hope is born, but is sent away for most of the season to live with rebekah. once she does come back, hayley and jackson get married and hope starts living with them (mostly) in the bayou. until hayley decides to run away with hope, and klaus curses hayley. 

s3: klaus gets to be with his daughter in peace for what a few months?? before lucien, aurora, tristen and the strix come to town. hayley gets custody of hope so he barely sees his daughter then. the mikaelsons are all cursed and klaus, hayley and hope are once again seperated. 

s4: klaus missed many many years of his daughter's life, and just as he's trying to be a father, they have to be seperated once again bc they have to split the hollow. 

s5: klaus missed even more years of his daughters life. they spend time together for a hot five minutes once hayley dies and then klaus kills himself as well. 

like in 5 seasons when did he actually get to be with his daughter? the gap between s2 and s3? a few days in s4?? is that it???

ik many ppl are mad about the ships that had potential but didn't happen but like why does nobody talk about this?? they feel like they were "robbed" (which they were obv but tvd is not only a love story)

klaus loved hope unconditionally and had sooo much character development because of HER. imagine what kind of arc we could have gotten if klaus had actually gotten to know his daughter??? this is the real robbery.
