"Picture a plant that's all roots, except for an occasional fruit popping up above-ground. No stems or leaves. It gets all its food from the dirt. Got it? Cool, that's what a mushroom is. Mushrooms are the fruits of the fungus underground."
"That can't be right."
"Oh, not if you ask a real scientists; fungus aren't really plants any more than they're animals, but it's functionally accurate."
"Huh. So I can call a mushroom a fruit?"
"Sure, if you want to piss off the real scientists. Cucumbers really are fruits though, at least going by plant categories instead of food categories. Vegetables don't exist."
"What??"
"Carrots are roots, lettuce is leaves, broccoli is flowers. Vegetables are just edible plant parts that aren't sweet enough to be called fruit. Or berries. Though there's some overlap."
"Right, I heard strawberries aren't really berries; something about the seeds?"
"Yup. Though the real freaky weirdos are the figs."
"...Do I want to know?"
"Not during mealtime! Enjoy."
#conversations between no one#maybe I'll think up a story to go with it#like I did the last one#the last two?#I lose track#at any rate these are fun when I have an Interesting Thing to explain#and someone deserves to be befuddled by it#and yes figs ARE freaky weirdos#if you don't already know then uh#don't look it up during mealtime#or recently after eating one#enjoy!

Excel Lovers can also be inventory people if you work retail and your character works elsewhere (office, law enforcement, superhero, military). I transferred locations in 2019 and for like two months my access to the program I needed to use my job was fucked and the only clerical member of staff was out for a few weeks on leave so I got a crash course in clerical. Because we had county-specific offices and handled mailing correspondence for all of them, we had county-specific business reply envelopes so I had to count how many boxes of envelopes we had for each and note if there were any the director needed to order more of (two counties who have always been our problem counties...yes I still remember that inventory 5 years later), plastic-wrapped sleeves of the main English and Spanish forms we mailed out, and boxes of tissues, how many new boxes of toner, how many used ones that needed to be sent back for rebates (because "we must be good stewards of taxpayer money" and actually use any rebate program.)
I run Excel sheets all the time for stuff: tracking nanowrimo word counts, estimating how many rows/repeats per day I need to finish larger projects by certain dates, inventorying my shop, inventorying my friend's shop, tracking expenses to run profit-loss sheets, personal budgeting, vacation budgeting. In high school and college, I used Excel to track my grades so I'd know the minimum score I had to make to either not take my final or not dip below a C. Please don't ask me why it took until I was 30 to figure out I should have got a degree in accounting instead of English.
We don’t talk enough about how fanfiction writers love to give character large amounts of non-specific paperwork they hate doing

A well-optimized PPC campaign brings in 2x what SEO can. The catch is that running a successful Google Ads campaign is not a one-and-done project. You’ve gotta optimize.💪
An algorithm is similar to a human being. Without encouragement from others, they get unmotivated and give up attempting to better themselves. Here are a few strategies that can help you get good leads and conversions
👉 Startle The Machine Learning Algorithm
In order to get your algorithm back in shape, consider the following optimizations.
● You need to convert additional things
● Alter your approach to bidding
● Do not forget to expand your keyword list
● Update the ad copy and add more
● Modify the bid settings on the device
● Maximize what matters most
Ad copy, landing pages, and the retail website's mobile layout are all potential areas for improvement. An automated bidding algorithm will benefit greatly from these enhancements.
You needn't try every single one of these strategies, but even trying one or two may teach the algorithm something new.
Therefore, it's possible that your dormant algorithm may get activated.
👉Put up a clever bidding strategy
Google discontinued modified wide-match keywords in August 2021. PPC managers, like myself, had to examine Google's Smart Bidding techniques.
I've tried practically all of Google's bid tactics. Google's automated bidding approach has improved, and most campaigns have seen good results.
If you employ broad-match keywords in your evergreen ads, Smart Bidding lets Google apply machine learning and thousands of customer data points to give the correct consumer.
Each evergreen campaign should use Smart Bidding if it fits these criteria:👇
● Convert 15+ every month.
● Maximize conversion value: No minimum conversions, but give values to all conversion activities based on their business or customer value.
● tCPA: Minimum 30 conversions monthly.
● tROAS: 15+ conversions in 30 days.
To support your Smart Bidding strategy, ensure your budget supports campaigns.
👉Establish Offline Tracking of Conversions
Ads don't always result in immediate online purchases; sometimes they set customers in motion that culminated in a transaction at your physical location or over the phone.
When you integrate offline conversions, you can see what customers do in person after seeing your ad online.
Even for experienced OCT installers, setting up OCT is complex.
Though difficult to set up, the benefits are worth it.
Google believes that OCT may save 30% and add 20% to linked campaigns. Moreover, it’s completely free.
👉Use Your Own Information to Your Advantage:
This may help you win a campaign or create a consumer profile based on past users' activities.
Google advertisements automatically gather a lot of information about every person who has engaged with your advertisements, and you can view them without leaving the site.
After gathering and analyzing all the data, you may make several optimization options to enhance your stale, evergreen ads.
Conclusion
Campaigns should evolve with the industry.
Evergreen PPC ads will always provide clicks, conversions, and purchases.
Apply these techniques to revitalize your evergreen Google Ads.
