Boost Your Data Accuracy with Smart Server-Side Tracking Services
When it comes to making data-driven decisions, accuracy is everything. Businesses often depend on customer behavior, site interactions, and conversion rates to guide their strategies. But what if your data isn’t telling the full story? That’s where Server-Side Tracking Services come in—offering a smarter, more secure way to collect reliable data.
Tumblr media
This article explores how server-side tracking improves data accuracy, supports better data analytics & visualization, and helps businesses improve data security while delivering measurable results.
What Is Server-Side Tracking?
Server-side tracking is a method of collecting user data by sending it through your server before reaching analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or others. This differs from client-side tracking, where data is collected directly through users’ browsers via cookies or JavaScript.
In client-side tracking, ad blockers, browser privacy restrictions, and network issues can interfere with data collection. Server-side tracking solves these problems by placing the tracking process in a more controlled and stable environment—your server.
Why Server-Side Tracking Services Matter
1. Greater Data Accuracy
With more browsers restricting third-party cookies and users opting out of tracking, marketers and analysts face significant gaps in data. Server-side tracking bridges this gap by reducing dependency on browser-based tracking and minimizing data loss.
Because the data is processed on your server, it avoids interference from browser settings, extensions, or connection errors. This leads to higher accuracy in tracking events, conversions, and user behavior.
Key Benefits for Data Accuracy:
Reduces data loss caused by browser restrictions
Improves attribution accuracy
Enables tracking across devices and channels
Provides cleaner and more consistent datasets
How Server-Side Tracking Enhances Data Analytics & Visualization
Accurate data is the foundation of effective data analytics & visualization. When your tracking is incomplete or flawed, your reports and dashboards become unreliable. Server-side tracking helps by feeding your analytics tools with high-quality, verified data.
You can also enrich your datasets by combining server-side data with CRM information, user history, and product performance—leading to more powerful insights and better visual reports.
Advantages for Analytics and Visualization:
Real-time tracking without data interruptions
Integration with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio
Better segmentation and targeting through enriched data
Enhanced ability to forecast trends and behaviours
Improving Data Security with Server-Side Tracking
Privacy is a top concern for users and regulators. Server-side tracking puts you in control of the data flow, which helps your organization improve data security and stay compliant with regulations like GDPR and CCPA.
Because the data doesn’t pass directly from the user’s browser to third-party platforms, you can:
Mask or anonymize sensitive data before sending it out
Filter what information gets shared externally
Ensure compliance by managing consent preferences
Security Benefits:
Reduces risk of data exposure
Allows selective data sharing with external vendors
Offers better compliance control with privacy laws
While server-side tracking may involve a more technical setup, the long-term benefits in accuracy, privacy, and flexibility make it a valuable investment for growing businesses.
Who Should Use Server-Side Tracking Services?
Whether you're an eCommerce store, SaaS company, or digital marketer, server-side tracking can bring you measurable advantages. You should consider implementing it if:
Your marketing campaigns rely heavily on accurate attribution
You're using multiple analytics and ad platforms
You're concerned about rising privacy restrictions
You’re scaling your data operations and need more control
Best Practices for Using Server-Side Tracking
To get the most from your server-side tracking services, follow these tips:
Choose a Reliable Provider: Opt for a provider that offers strong support, easy integrations, and secure data handling.
Test Regularly: Make sure all events are firing correctly through testing tools and error logs.
Set Up Consent Management: Respect user privacy and manage consent based on location and legal requirements.
Integrate with Your Stack: Link your tracking setup to CRMs, ad platforms, and BI tools for full visibility.
Maintain Documentation: Keep your implementation steps and data flow documented for troubleshooting and scaling.
Final Thoughts
Switching to server-side tracking services is a smart move for businesses that value accurate data, secure systems, and better analytics. With evolving privacy regulations and growing data complexity, this method ensures your decisions are based on trusted insights—not flawed reports.
If you're ready to improve data accuracy, strengthen your data analytics & visualization, and improve data security, it's time to take a closer look at server-side tracking.
Analytics Liv is here to support you on this journey with customized tracking solutions that empower smarter decisions and stronger results.

Hi! I know I just sent you an ask a few hours ago but uhm. There's something on my mind.
So I've only been into lifesteal for like. 3 weeks? Maybe a bit more or less. Point being is that I don't know anything about the SMPs history other than the couple of videos I watch & what people live blog about season 6 LMAO. Anyway not important I'm just rambling LMAO sorry I get rambly in these.
ANYWAYS. My question is: When did Devotion Duo start? From what I gather it seems it was around season 4? but idk if that's right. All I know is that they'd had to have been together for a while for their relationship to be where it is now.
I just thought I'd asks since their dynamic seems to be fun & all the analytic posts I find about them seem very interesting (also all the art bangs. not a single miss that I've seen so far). So I'm interested in the very start of it and how it was.
Thought I'd ask you since you seem like the Devotion Expert around these parts /silly.
technicallyyyyy they go all the way to s2 when zam was added and have teamed at least partially Every Season since then, but due to s2 vods missing + a lot of current fandom members (including me) getting in during s4 + Their Arc happening then, s4 is veryyy popular with them.
short version, I have a list of vods going over one arc that revolves around them here
what i mean by Their Arc:
a small break down of s4 with them, zam first got back on ls about a month late so everyone else was already in teams, he kinda just gravitated towards mapicc and ro (teammate awesome) before officially joining them (vod here, around 3:38. zam works in a lot of their plans, he was a part of the prison (a short event where TA locked players in and offered a reward to get them out), medusa (lead by roshambo and helped by mapicc & zam, he worked to turn spawn building into obituary and covered his tracks by trying to seem like they were the ones searching for the culprit), and most notably, dupe war. dupe war was a project by spoke invloslving mass during of items and gear, claiming to use it to defeat another team (APO, not crazy important here) (in reality it was involved with wormhole stuff but fell through). as lot of dupe war wasn't streamed so we don't know exactly zams thought process through it all, but at the end of the war when all exploits were meant to be destroyed, mapicc revealed he and spoke hid away some stashes. zam was acting like this was fine while they were there but spent a Considerable amount of time after they had left debating taking these dupe stashes, ultimately deciding they would be best in his hands.
this was the catalyst for castle arc, an arc revolving around devotions and affecting them Heavily.
mapicc saw it as a betrayal, and did not take kindly. when they had their team awesome meeting (commonly referred to as Home sweet home, hsh for short) to confront zam, numerous times mapicc mentions wishing he could go with what zam said but no longer trusting him. I Highly recommend watching this vod if not any others, it is the single vod is have watched the most. I also have a transcript of it here (don't mind the typos, I still haven't gotten around to editing it)
and All of that is just lead up to castle arc, where mapicc hunts zam down again and again and again. while not part of castle arc, over the course of almost the whole season mapicc finds 4(mightve been 5?) of zams bases, it's a scene of hatred and carnage and violence.
and yet.
they still end the season together.
mapicc still choses zam over anyone else, over ro who had been by his side the entire time, over spoke who gave him power, he wanted to end the server with zam as the chaos of wormhole was concluding.
they really are a despite everything situation. anyone else would have refused to work together after what they had been through, but that wasn't even the first time they fought together after the betrayal. they have this constant yearning to be by each other's sides, whether that be for or against.
a very important quote for them, the source of their name, "and all of my devotion turns violent"
soooo that's s4!!!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna be honest I don't know s5 devotions that well (would recommend asking @derww about them if you want to know more) as for s6 there's just. so many small things. mapicc wanting zam to come back to fighting after refusing for so long, being so excited when he agrees. early empire streams he was wishing he was teaming with zam again. zam Constantly bringing up mapicc yesterday when thinking about teaming with derap. like he did Not need to do that. it's so amazing the way their devotion has evolved.
I've had issues in the past with links not embedding so also putting them down here in order just in case

The UU Grave Theory/Analytical Essay.
you know how parrot never made ||wifies|| a grave, or at least we’ve never seen one on camera. While people think it’s just uuparrot being rude or uncaring, it think it is deliberate.
We constantly see graves throughout UU, a grave for Luigi, who parrot became friends with in only 1 episode, a grave for Dean, and even for a jumper spy despite not knowing them well. However we never see a grave made for Wifies.
I think this is because Parrot hasn’t officially moved on or fully grieved Wifies yet, maybe he is in denial about Wifies, unlike he was with everyone else as they literally died in front of him *without invis* they were clearly visible and therefore Parrot couldn’t trick himself into thinking “maybe it’s a trick” or “maybe it’s not real and their alive and not dead.” But what’s the difference with Wifies? Well 1, Wifies was on invis the whole time - Ash made a very interesting point since he constantly would say “is that really Wifies? You’d never know unless you killed him and read the death message.”
Because Ash kept emphasising this it kept playing over and over in parrots head - was that really Wifies? What if it was just a random invis player? Could Wifies still be alive?
Then suddenly, Wifies gets ripped away from him and stasised, but unlike everyone else - Wifies was on invis. Maybe this was just UU writing or metaphorical or just something not to over analyse but I’m an overanalysing freak.
Since Parrot never saw Wifies actually get stasised, maybe his brain read it as someone else - maybe this is his excuse that Wifies may not really be dead - maybe he’s not ready to move on and this is his reasoning for it, because he couldn’t fully prove it as he never saw WIFIES get stasised. Now we do also have to remember the fact that the UU chat is also an extremely important factor for the main characters, as the main characters often use the chat to interact with each other, or to read and see death messages.
EVERY SINGLE PERSON on UU when killed are automatically kicked out of the world by a Mod parrot has (although in the storyline, we don’t acknowledge the mod and when you die in this ‘hardcore’ world, you just have to leave.) But Wifies was not kicked out. He fell out of the world but he never left the game. Now I’m not going to say that “Wifies is the director!” Because while I do love that theory, if I go on that tangent I’ll get side tracked.
I asked Wifies on his discord server if him not leaving was because he decided to enter spectator mode, and he said “hmm it’s a nice thought sure.” Now while that is a vague answer (because he can’t give anything away) it could also be an answer that further enhances Parrots belief that Wifies is not truly gone.
Here’s another theory on the graves: what if Parrot hasn’t made a grave for Wifies because he still hasn’t avenged him?
I mean think about it, When ||Luigi|| died, Parrot immediately built him a grave and directly after, he saved everyone and got them all out - Luigi’s one final wish. When Dean dies, Parrot tries to avenge Dean by killing the other mafia members but is forced to turn back, however - he technically completed Deans one wish, to tell him when he trusted him. Now while he hasn’t Ideally done it to his face, at least in a literal sense he DDINT say it out loud, but the message was carried through their stand off before Dean got stasised. And he told deans grave he trusted him after. And he avenged Dean by getting rid of the invis mafia and ashswagg.
Now with Wifies, this is a difficult one - since Wifies says many things for Parrot to do as his wishes, but I’m unsure which would be exact - however, I think Wifies dying wish was for Parrot to continue to have hope. Why? The beacons that Wifies was obsessed with all foreshadowed and sent messages out of Hope, the only person who didn’t ideally understand this was Parrot - who’s whole character is literally formed and crafted on the word Hope. Parrot had lost his hope. He lost his hope when district 13 disbanded, when he lost Luigi and Dean and now it’s officially crumbled upon losing Wifies. And continues to crumble in s2 as he loses hope in himself, he lost hope to trust people and let them help him in ep1 s2 - however at the end he joined BAT representing his acceptance and coming out of his shell, he’s slowly gained hope. Then, he used that Hope to be hopeful for Derap in Ep2 S2, when derapchu was misreble and believed he was useless - Parrot gave him hope.
Now ep3 s2..yeah…..umm. Parrots hope is crumbling still, barely hanging on a ledge - as Parrot has lost some hope and trust and faith in his own team that episode. And ep4 Parrots story finally reaches a climax.
The whole point I’m making is that S2 Tests parrots hope and faith and trust - it’s been testing him. To me, it’s Wifies testing his hope.
Parrot hasn’t killed the director yet, he hasn’t gained hope for himself yet, and until he does claim that, He will never officially move on from Wifies.

But the real challenge lies in setting up and maintaining an infrastructure that’s both scalable and efficient. At KiaanTechnology, we specialize in offering comprehensive ad tech solutions that unlock seamless monetization opportunities, empowering publishers, advertisers, and businesses to maximize their ad revenue.
Whether you're looking to streamline your Ad Server setup, enhance your Ad Network configuration, or optimize SSP (Supply-Side Platform) and DSP (Demand-Side Platform) integrations, we provide you with the tools and expertise needed to turn your advertising operations into a revenue-generating powerhouse.
Why Seamless Ad Monetization is Critical for Your Success
Monetization is the ultimate goal for any digital advertising strategy, but achieving it requires a robust infrastructure that delivers high-quality, high-paying ads. Here’s why seamless ad monetization is essential:
Maximized Revenue Potential: A well-optimized ad tech ecosystem ensures that your inventory is always filled with premium ads, enabling you to get the best return on your ad space.
Improved Ad Delivery: Effective ad delivery means your ads reach the right audience at the right time. Proper configuration of your Ad Server and Ad Network maximizes both the quality and quantity of ads served.
Streamlined Operations: With the right tools and setups, you can automate the management of your ad inventory, campaigns, and monetization strategies, making your ad operations more efficient.
At KiaanTechnology, we provide comprehensive solutions that help you not just manage ads but also optimize every aspect of your ad infrastructure, driving revenue at every step.
Comprehensive Ad Tech Solutions: Unlocking Maximum Monetization
At KiaanTechnology, we understand that each business has its own unique goals and challenges in the advertising space. That’s why our Ad Tech solutions are tailored to provide you with the highest level of efficiency, scalability, and revenue generation.
Here’s how we help you unlock seamless ad monetization:
1. Ad Server Setup: The Foundation of Seamless Ad Delivery
An effective Ad Server setup is crucial for delivering the right ads to the right audience. At KiaanTechnology, our expert team configures and optimizes your Ad Server, ensuring it’s capable of handling traffic at scale while maximizing revenue potential:
Advanced Targeting Capabilities: With features like geo-targeting, device targeting, and audience segmentation, we ensure your ads are reaching the best possible audience.
Cross-Platform Compatibility: Our setup ensures that your ads are delivered seamlessly across all platforms—web, mobile, video, and OTT—enabling you to reach a wider audience without sacrificing performance.
Real-Time Analytics: We provide real-time reporting tools that allow you to track your ad performance and make data-driven decisions to boost ad monetization.
2. Ad Network Configuration: Connecting to the Right Demand Sources
Maximizing ad revenue isn’t just about serving ads; it’s about filling your ad inventory with high-paying, premium ads. Our Ad Network configuration services ensure that your network is connected to the right demand sources, driving up your revenue potential:
Maximized Fill Rates: We connect you with top-tier DSPs, ad exchanges, and direct advertisers, ensuring your ad inventory is filled with high-quality ads that command top-dollar rates.
Real-Time Bidding (RTB): Our solutions leverage RTB to ensure that your inventory is sold to the highest bidder, allowing you to maximize the value of your ad space.
Seamless Integration: We make sure your Ad Network is integrated with all the right platforms, so you can deliver ads efficiently and at scale.
3. SSP & DSP Integration: Boosting Revenue Through Programmatic Advertising
When integrated properly, SSP (Supply-Side Platforms) and DSP (Demand-Side Platforms) can be powerful tools for maximizing ad revenue. At KiaanTechnology, we help you integrate these platforms into your ad stack, enabling you to take advantage of programmatic advertising to fill your inventory and optimize pricing:
SSP Setup: We configure your SSP to connect to demand sources like DSPs and ad exchanges, ensuring your inventory is always in front of the best advertisers.
DSP Setup: Our DSP configuration helps you manage your ad buys more effectively, enabling you to purchase inventory from multiple sources and target audiences with greater precision.
Maximized Ad Revenue: With SSP and DSP working together, you can access a larger pool of buyers, improve competition for your ad space, and achieve the best possible monetization.

tag game! thank you for tagging @tantou! <3
Are you named after anyone ?
i am actually named after two people. my first name that i go by irl comes from a shakespeare character. and then my middle name is noelle and that comes a family tradition. for reasons, every generation there is a girl with the middle name noelle. i don't know how far back that goes but somewhere back in my family line was the original noelle.
What sports have you played ?
i ran track and cross country in middle school and played volleyball in high school, but i was not good at it. i was a good runner for track, but not a good digger or server for volleyball.
Do you use sarcasm ?
i have a very sarcastic sense of humor. i don't think it's actually a good thing, ha. i can be a bit too cutting and then i feel bad about myself.
What is the first thing you notice about people ?
i think just general vibe? people are intimidating to me so whether or not they seem like nice people is usually the first thing i pick out.
What’s your eye color ?
dark brown
Scary movies or happy endings ?
i've never really been big on scary movies, so happy endings.
Any talent ?
i think i'm a decent singer and i actually sketch really well with pencil and paper. digital art is weird so it doesn't always come through when i'm doing something digital. i've gotten better! but i still think my best work is by far paper and pencil.
What are your hobbies ?
writing obvsly. i don't have much free time rn but when i do i also like video games! i've been wanting to play hades so bad lately and i'm having to force myself to do other things instead so i don't fall behind. honestly though when i'm bored i usually default to writing.
Do you have any pets ?
i have a husky! and he is the best boy in the whole wide world and i love him to pieces and i will fight anyone who says huskies are bad dogs, they're not bad, they just need exercise. like, an obscene amount of exercise.
How tall are you ?
i am 5'10" or 178 cm, so relatively tall i think
Dream job ?
lawyer of course! genuinely i really really enjoy legal research and analysis. i'm a pretty analytical person anyway so breaking down the facts of a situation and the legal authorities to try and find the exact right angle to argue our side is a lot of fun to me. like, litigation is one of my favorite things to do. every time someone makes a new filing in a juicy lawsuit my day is made. the pure joy when someone files a counterclaim can keep me going for days.
tagging: oh gosh! @loving-that-officey-feel, @evaofkonoha, @chexennne, literally anyone who wants to!
