Finally started working on Wonder Woman‘s golden training outfit! I wrapped myself in plastic wrap and painter‘s tape and drew on the shape and lines. Be careful not to hurt yourself when cutting it open again! This is a rather easy method to make fitting patterns. I've been working on Venusaur's shield, which is basically a giant flower! 🌸🌸🌸⁣ ⁣ The back isnt quite ready, thanks to technical difficulties known as chrome spray paint, but the front is ready! So far this prop build has been fairly simple compared to the props I usually make, which has honestly been jarring! Making toad skin texture on all these armor pieces is really enjoyable! To get this effect, I used foam clay for the big bumps, and then hot glue for the smaller details. Most of the magic will come with the paint job, which as always is the part I'm most looking forward to with my Venusaur ginjinka! Rascal Summer Festival Miku photo/progress dump. This cosplay is ready to go, just need to find an excuse to wear it and get some photos. The final look will be shown with her ironed on fireworks once I do. I've had so many hiccups with this costume. From fabric not taking dye to remaking the top.
