I finished wild arms yesterday! what a great game

#wild arms #wild arms 1 #cecilia adlehyde #jack van burace #rudy roughnight #earth golem #art tag #i really really loved this one im so glad i finished it #its really fun and not overly long for a jrpg (about 30 hours)#also gets my seal of approval in that despite what all promotional material would have you believe cecilia is the main character #like its not even a question she just is. compounded by the fact that if you want to you can play as her the whole time #my biggest criticism would prob be that by the end of the game the party feels kind of unbalanced especially in boss fights #cecilia can do so much shit and the boys basically just do different kinds of big damage lol #cecilia can also do big damage but shes too busy healing and buffing and debuffing and all that #its not all that hard though so its not a huge deal just kind of funny #anyway i definitely want to play the rest of the series at some point. apparently theres an anime too?? exciting

checks on the stat they fucking suck at are always debuffed. i want to fail let me fail please. i wanna fuck up these checks so bad

Hi I'm Pikmin posting again. I 100%'d Pikmin 2 so I moved back into a replay of Pikmin 1. My biggest take away is that enemy swarming works MUCH better in Pikmin 2 especially considering you have purples. By which I mean I am absolutely getting my little guys massacred with such moves as "I can swarm this fiery blowhog with yellows in my party right?"

how old does noctis look? does he look really young (courtesy of being satan’s kid)? itd be hilarious if (later) rin and yukio introduce him like. yeah this is our father. he looks like rin’s twin but ignore that.

as funny as that would be to imagine, he does look like a proper adult! the kind that still gets regularly carded, but if rin and noctis are standing next to each other, noctis' still looks visibly older than rin does. that said, being satan's kid has definitely impacted his aging so despite being 31 when rin is 15, he barely looks a day over 25.

(he'd probably look a little older if he grew out his facial hair again, but he's not currently in a facial hair phase.)
