I get a little tired of fandoms over-analysing characters and taking their words and actions and misconstruing them to make the character seem more malicious than they are.

example, Kakashi wasn’t really around for Naruto when he was growing up. It sucks, he could’ve done better, but it makes sense character-wise for him to be distant. But then if you find someone who dislikes kakashi and needs excuses to hate on him, suddenly Kakashi did this because he doesn’t give a shit about Naruto and never did. like, common sense wise, we all know Kakashi wasn’t written to hate Naruto, right??? It’s pretty clear that he cares about Naruto. Objectively. He was written with the intent of giving the reader the impression that he likes Naruto.

And even if he didn’t back when Naruto was a little kid, doesn’t it make for a more interesting read if their relationship is complicated?? Why would you want every relationship to be perfect and healthy, that’s boring. you can still think kakashi is a good person even if he wasn’t the dad that stepped up

[The door to a dark and hidden room opens and shuts with a metallic clang. A half dozens candles are placed around a carved circle that is soon lined with salt and lit in reverse order. A incense burner is lowly lit as well, releasing a smell one could only describe as dangerous. The figure standing just beyond the circle hesitates with a thick tome in their hand.]

Jackie (sighing): Let’s get this over with…

[After a couple of words and some expressive but specific hand waving a figure seems burst forth within the circle. A lean muscular body parts from the smoke but the figure's face remains wrapped in the stuff. Still, that doesn’t stop Jackie from feeling him grin.]

Kerberos: Hey there Jacky-Jacky Linn-Linn

Jackie (tense): Hello Empreror.

Kerberos: *clutches chest* Oh how you wound me! I thought you were the “nice” one! *baby voice* Don’t you wanna be my bestest fwendy-wend too?

Jackie: If I’m being honest? There’s nothing I’d rather do less.

Kerberos: And I still don’t understand why! You and I, we can be a dream team! I am the man that cheated death after all~

Jackie: If by “cheated death” you mean cursed us all with your dying breath so we must summon your spirit lest you rally the troops of the unrested dead then yes, you definitely, definitely cheated.

Kerberos: Oh come onnnn! Don’t act like you’re some goody two shoes Jack. You might be a masterful liar but I am not so easily tricked. Can’t say I hate it though, not just anyone can create a persona so catered to every palate.

Jackie: ..I don't know what you’re talking about.

Kerberos: Don’t be like that! One master of the dark to another, you must get quite the thrill from it all, tricking all manner of flesh, scales and fur. You have broken the rules though, never get high on what you supply.

[Kerberos grins a little wider, gesturing to Jackie.]

Kerberos: Cheap but sturdy clothes, you’re clearly a person of means but you’re also chill and not money hunger if those fine boots and bag are any indication. The sleeveless shirt implies a casual nature, the pinstriped pants infer you still know your way around fashion, the leather gloves and jacket hint at an adventurous, fun loving spirit. Oh and all that pink…a deliberately obvious feminine touch, a signal of innocence. A way of visually deflecting wrongdoing, of saying that you'd never harm anyone. You probably have a ton of it in your closet, people must really think it’s your favourite though of course it isn’t, people like us are too smart for favourite colors.

Kerberos: An agreeable non threatening personality and a smile that never fully disappears *clapping* It’s magnificent truly, battle armour crafted better than I have ever seen. But you could be so much more dear, if you would only step in.

[Jackie doesn’t respond. She simply walks closer to the circle, leans down, and blows out one of the candles. The image flickers and the rest of Kerberos head becomes smoke.]

Kerberos: If you can’t beat this heat sweetheart you won’t be able to handle the hellfire.

Jackie (tiredly sighing): There’s no point in trying to explain something you are evolutionary incapable of understanding.

[Kerberos stills.]

Jackie: You’re a decomposed fool who thinks his pain justified creating a senseless pit of agony and shadows. I'm not here to wish ill on the dead especially since you’ve gotten a worse fate: you’re…irrelevant.

The Emperor (strained smile): Is that so?

The Heiress (defiant smile): It is always a bummer to be the last to know, isn’t it?

[The Emperor's smoky form swirls as he gets as close to the barrier between them.]

Jackie (blowing out the candles): Saved by the smell.

Kerberos (leaning back with an unseen smile): Ha-ha, you tickle me emo! Ahhhh this was so fun! Do come by again sometime, I so much enjoy these chats~!

[With that, the last candle is blown out and the smoke disappears into nothing. Jackie waits until it dissipates before letting a shiver run down her spine and leaving.]

i think declan touching doyle’s hand and saying ‘i remember you…’ and doyle responding ‘i’m sorry’ was the perfect way to end the emily & doyle & declan arc. it’s the perfect way to show that in a horrible, dysfunctional way they were a family (forced to be!!) and even though emily and doyle wanted each other dead and declan lives without both of them, a little bit of each other will live in all of them forever. honestly including this in the same ep where it’s revealed declan was born through doyle keeping his mother captive to force her to give birth, and emily’s disgust at that really makes this arc more powerful and tragic. like - she had to live with that man and make loving him believable. she had to believe 100% she was in love for him for this to work, not to mention she was further trapped by actually caring for declan and wanting to know he was okay. it’s a painful, confusing situation with no good outcome. if it’s not believable, you die and compromise the operation. if you believe it, you compromise your morality and identity and when everything ends you feel as though you’ve destroyed your home, your family. emily was left feeling so empty. god <//3

The first movie the Steyr AUG is thought to have appeared in was Octopussy (1983). The first movie I can remember noticing it in was Die Hard (1988).

One of the more unusual users of a variant of this gun was the Falkland Islands Defence Force (FIDF) who adopted it in the late 80's/early '90's. At the time the FIDF were looking for a new rifle the obvious choice for them would have been the British SA80/L85. It was found to have a few 'issues' and it would take some time before these were addressed. The FIDF used the AUG up until 2019 but it has now been gradually replaced by the L85A2.
