this is probably dumb of me to ask but, how do I post the hashtags correctly if I were to post something or post hashtags on friend art like I failed to do with luna's sonic artwork? -Nameless

no worries man, you’re new here. (btw, answers are public! you come off pretty shy so jlyk for next time. most people have open message inboxes.)

if you’re asking where to enter tags, they’re at the bottom of the text box on both mobile and desktop.

if you’re asking what tags to use, it’s up to you. it’s your blog!

for visibility, you can use basic stuff like “art”, “(video game title)”, whatever. standard for all social media.

if it’s something specific, like something you made or something your friends made, you can tag “my stuff” or “friends’ art”. some people have their own tag to signify that it’s their original post or part of an original story/universe they’re making. these are more so you can look it up on your own blog later.

you can also just tag posts with whatever you want. tags are often used in place of comments. or maybe you find something that reminds you of your characters - some people i follow will tag text posts with just the names of their ocs, and those tags can give you or others an idea of your character’s vibe.

p.s.: typing a comma in your tag will split it into two tags. for example, in the tags i wrote for this post, I typed “just my experience. again, it’s your blog” and it came out as “#just my experience, again #it’s your blog”

controls:

use your keyboard to type out words, no japanese keyboard is needed (just make sure you have the input set to romaji in the options!)

enter = skip a line of text (so you can type out the one below it instead)

spacebar = increase text speed (text comes flying in from the right side of the screen pretty slowly, you can speed this up by holding the spacebar)

archangel desktop assistant:

upon starting up the game, instead of the actual game popping up, you'll see a chibi version of the archangel (oh joy!). he can take you to STING's official website, tell you the date and time, tell your fortune, or start up the actual game for you. if you right click him, a list of options pop up. click the one that says "タイピングゲーム" or "typing game" to start the game yourself.

how do power-ups work?

while playing, items might appear that surround the text in a box. to activate them, you have to type out the phrase shown in a certain amount of time (and also not make any typos/mistakes).

tips:

-"..." is typed as "tenn tenn tenn"

-the latin alphabet (a-z) can show up above the kanji if you fiddle with the options, but, at least on my end, the letters are too small to be useful. guessing is what i did most of the time 😭

-if you drag the archangel desktop assistant's text bubble to the edge of your screen, it hurts him

-the readme is actually pretty interesting

Anon I will answer your ask properly later but: steamos is arch based, so reload into desktop mode, download the unofficial patch and install as you would on a desktop linux system (you can install protontricks from the app library and do it that way, it's super easy) then reload into steam mode and launch from there! The latest version of the patch (11.5) supposedly has issues on steam deck but I installed 11.4 and it works perfectly!
