Uddhav Thackeray Ordered Us Against Cutting Trees For Memorial: Sena MP Chandrakant Khaire
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The orders against felling trees will be followed strictly, said Shiv Sena's Chandrakant KhaireAurangabad: A senior Shiv Sena leader on Monday claimed that Maharashtra Chief Minister and party president Uddhav Thackeray has given "oral orders" against felling of trees for the proposed memorial of his late father and Sena founder Bal Thackeray in Aurangabad. On Sunday, the ruling Sena got trolled after media reports emerged that the memorial would require the felling of 1,000 trees."We have received oral orders from Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday night asking us not to touch any tree for building the memorial. We will build the memorial by keeping all the trees intact," senior Sena leader and former Aurangabad MP Chandrakant Khaire told PTI.On reports that trees need to be felled for the project, Mr Khaire said such rumours are being spread by people with vested interests who are against the memorial that will come up in Priyadrshini Garden in the CIDCO area of the city.He said the Sena-ruled Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has neither finalised any tender nor issued any work order."(Late) Balasaheb Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray are very caring about environment. The Sena never said we will hack trees in Priyadarshini Garden for the memorial. We have received oral orders on Sunday night which have already been conveyed to the Mayor. The orders will be followed strictly," Mr Khiare added.Priyadarshini Garden is home to various birds, insects and reptiles.Earlier in the day, AMC tree committee member Kishor Pathak said cutting of trees for the proposed memorial will not only deface the public garden but also harm its precious ecology."The park is home to at least 80 types of birds, out of which 52 are Indian and the rest are foreign birds. There are 35 types of butterflies, seven types of snakes and 80 types of insects. This place is still a home for animals and a major oxygen hub," he claimed. He said the AMC was planning to cut some 7,500 trees and construct a complex of shops, cafeteria and a children park here.Aurangabad Mayor Nandkumar Ghodele on Sunday said his administration would not allow trees to be cut for the Thackeray memorial. On Sunday, the Sena was called "hypocrite" by former Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis's wife Amruta over the issue. Her criticism came against the backdrop of the Sena's opposition to hacking of trees for the Metro Line 3 car shed in Mumbai's Aarey Colony citing environmental concerns when it was a constituent of the erstwhile BJP-led government. However, in one of his first major decisions, after taking over as head of the Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in November, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had issued a stay on the metro car shed work. RR Film Presenter - Incredible India - Producer Renuka Raj Rajput Singh Director Raj Singh Rajput
India’s first Hindi movie. , Incredible India, which launched the calendar of every artist. The producer of this film has done a unique way of promoting all of his artists. Very few are such filmmakers, whose purpose is not to make money from films, but to make sense of patriotism among the people through the film. It is to create a feeling among the people that the responsibility of making the beautiful country in which you are living is yours, only then we will call the country an incredible India, which was also at that time when the country was not divided. After partition, the country was split into two pieces, which came in the form of India and Pakistan. India is still incredible where there are people of many religions and where good souls struggle with the evil spirits. These evil spirits repeatedly attack the country. Many terrorist attacks on the country by the neighboring country were also a game of such evil spirits. In total, the film ‘Incredible India’ is a mutual battle between good and evil spirits of two countries, in which many innocent people are killed. For the first time, a film has shown mutual war between the two countries and the message is also being given through it.

IDSA partners and participate in Maharashtra Consumer Day celebrations
Indian Direct Selling Association (IDSA) proudly partnered and participated in ‘National Consumer Day’ celebrations, held in Mumbai on 9th January 2018. Organized by Maharashtra State Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department, the conference was themed around Emerging Digital Markets: Issues & Challenges in Consumer Protection’. During this one-day events, the government touched upon the issues such as misleading advertisements on digital platform, Consumer complaints redressal mechanism and need to protect consumers in the digital era.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who was the Chief Guest at the event, said “In today’s digital world, new avenues of distribution models are emerging such as e-commerce & Direct Selling. The Department of Consumer Protection is working on a mechanism to regulate these industries in the interest of consumers”.
Principal Secretary for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Mahesh Pathak said that the Department is developing an online portal to address the complaints related to the Direct Selling distribution model and thanked IDSA and FICCI for lending support in developing the portal. Pathak also appreciated the efforts of IDSA in helping the Department organizing the National Consumer Day event.
“Direct Selling has emerged as a popular non-store retail model for the consumers to buy products. However, in the past, a lot of fraudulent players operated under the garb of Direct Selling, duping consumers of their hard-earned money, thus bringing bad name for the legitimate Direct Selling Industry. The Central Guidelines has now drawn a clear distinction between legitimate Direct Selling and fraudulent players, bringing much relief for the Industry. These Guidelines have been adopted by the states of Chhattisgarh, Sikkim, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh and we have now requested the Maharashtra Government to also issue the Guidelines in the state,” said Amit Chadha, Secretary General, IDSA.
On 5th January 2018, the Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Ram Vilas Paswan tabled the Consumer Protection Bill 2018 in the Parliament, taking a giant step towards a strong National level consumer protection policy. The new Bill, has provision for redressal of complaints regarding the defect in goods and deficiency in services.
“Direct Selling is a business run by the consumers, for the consumers as the Direct Sellers are the primary consumers as well. In this context, safeguarding the interest of consumers has been a priority for all Direct Selling entities. Central Consumer Affairs Ministry tabling the Consumer Protection Bill 2018 in the Parliament is the apt step forward towards consumer protection. The Bill has provision of establishing an authority to safeguard the interest of the consumers and facilitating faster consumer redressal mechanism, an utmost necessity in the current scenario,” opined Vivek Katoch, Chairman, IDSA.
The Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India, for a long, has been stressing upon the need of a strong and exhaustive Consumer Protection Mechanism and the Consumer Protection Bill 2018 paves way for the same.
