The DIGAWEL 2025 Summer Collection “Midsommar” attempts to rethink and introduce a new perspective on the summer season in the Era of Global Boiling. With a collection that references the title of a 2019 folk horror movie, we are redefining the summer collection with the help of natural fibers such as merino wool, cashmere, and silk. Merino wool actively responds to changes in body temperature, keeping you cool when hot and warm when cold. Cashmere, another animal fiber, has a functional structure that withstands environmental changes with excellent moisture absorption and desorption and heat retention. Silk, which like cashmere has excellent moisture absorption/desorption and beautiful luster, also has high moisture retention properties, so it is gentle on the skin, cool in summer and warm in winter. We believe that these materials will WORK well in even the most intense office spaces.

DIGAWEL2025年サマーコレクション"Midsommar"では、猛暑日(Tmax ≥ 35ºC)・熱帯夜 (Tmin ≥ 25ºC)が増え���ける夏というシーズンを再考し新しい視点を導入しようと試みています。気候変動への不安や恐れから2019年のフォークホラー映画のタイトルが引用されたコレクションで、わたしたちはメリノウール・カシミヤ・シルクといった天然繊維の力を借りることで、サマーコレクションの再定義に挑みます。体温の変化にアクティブに反応するメリノウールは、暑い時には涼しく寒い時には暖かく保ちます。同じ動物繊維のカシミヤも吸放湿性や保温性に優れ環境の変化に耐えられる機能的な構造を持っています。カシミヤと同様に優れた吸放湿性と美しい光沢を持つシルクは、高い保湿性も兼ね備えているので肌に優しく夏は涼しく冬は暖かい。こうした素材は苛烈ともいえるオフィス空間においても充分に機能するはずだと考えています。
