Before it gets too cold in the autumn I want to share this summertime illustration I had made a little over a year ago (can you tell most of what I’d draw was Fossil Fighters related :’)

Honestly, my favorite part of making this one was creating scope with the background. It took way longer than I thought, but it felt so satisfying as I was illustrating, always trying to perfectly match the architecture of the building from the games. I wanted it to feel like you’re seeing Cranial City, but now it’s an anime ❤️ (if that even makes sense).

Some bonuses from as I was working on it down below. Hope you enjoy and don't mind me sharing old art. It's still very special to me, I almost have this fear inside me that I can't replicate something like this, even a year later. I hope I can find myself someday, but a cry for help isn't too fitting for this time of year. Let's enjoy the autumn by saying a nice goodbye to summer.

1976 townhouse condo unit for sale in Warren, VT. Located on Dimetro Rd., the building is named "Dimetrodon" like a big ol' dinosaur. 3bds, 1ba, $350k + $325mo. HOA.

Quite the interesting condo layout.

It certainly gets lots of natural light.

What is that equipment under the sink? It looks like some kind of a radio.

Have you ever seen cabinetry like this in a kitchen?

Such an interesting kitchen. This end cabinet looks like it was made from an air duct.

The whole kitchen looks like it was cobbled together DIY style.

The built-in bench runs clear into the kitchen for plenty seating. The table can be as big or as small as you need.

This must be the Dimetrodon.

A desk fits nicely in this corner on the landing.

Very interesting architectural features going every which way.

Can't make out what this says, but the floor is oak.

There are many levels to this home. Look at the stick wall- that's an interesting feature, and the drape going thru the railing on the stairs.

I counted 4 staircases in this area, alone.

Here we have a bed that looks like it's on a boat.

Smallish primary bedroom features a platform bed, sliders to a terrace, and an artzy stick wall of built-in clothing storage.

Down some stairs there's a small office.

The single bath includes the washer/dryer.

The 3rd bedroom has a full-sized elevated bed with lots of built-in shelving.

Look at that, it's in the tower and has a door to the rooftop deck.

The deck overlooks the garden.

Interesting. There's also a garden shed. The lot that the building is on is 15 acres.

The rear of the home- the deck could belong to one of the other condos.

Hi, I noticed you’ve been putting “Dimentro” on polls rather than “Dimetro,” which I’m unsure is intentional but it’s been every poll it’s on. Just wanted to let you know!

So it took me a moment to process the fact that I have, in fact, been reading Dimetro wrong for the past 14 years

And I know why

It’s because I have also played Super Paper Mario.

And one of the characters is this freakin guy

I am not dyslexic, however I do have a history of horribly misreading names

Anyways, I am going to scream at a wall now.

actually, have a couple silly fossil fighters teams for some of my ocs

Thyme: Krona (silver head), Tophis, Dimetro, Shuno, and a Dinomaton she found in the trash and fixed

Scout: Andrarch (silver body), ceros, synthos, peloro, parium

Macbeth: Aopteryx (silver body), Smilo, Compso, Krypto, breme

the first vivosaur listed is their ace
