I love arcane's writing for the most part its so meticulous and riddled with symbolism, motifs and parallels rarely a Chekhov's gun left unaddressed however I can tell that there weren't any Black people in the writing room

I feel the need to remind everyone that Check pattern theory has never once failed me so Eddie being in Check when he called Marisol to set up a date (coupled with the fact that Eddie literally said dating people you met on a call never works out well and then the show literally re-enforcing that by having her remind him that they met on one of his calls) is the reason for my nonchalance over Marisol still being around.

So, whilst I'd rather we didn't have a transphobe on the show, I'm not going to expend any energy on her - she'll serve her purpose and leave, she's a plot device and she isn't meant to stick around past her use of getting Eddie (and Chris) to where the writers need them to be.

I wrote a silly little S3 Good Omens fic in which Crowley and Aziraphale team up at a safe house in the South Downs with Muriel, Anathema, and a himbo Jesus to thwart the Second Coming.

Crowley is petty and dramatic, Aziraphale is jealous of Jesus and trying to win Crowley back, there is a lot of flirting and banter, and the Bentley won't stop playing Taylor Swift and generally embarrassing Crowley/throwing a fit about her parents' divorce. Muriel reads Aziraphale's diaries and starts a union, there are theatrics, confessions, shenanigans, tomfoolery, and a happily ever after.

Couldn't work out how to add this to my last post but here's an example of what I meant by radioactive "wellness" products - in this case a set of stickers that claim to extend mobile battery life while protecting from 5g radiation. They're now my lowest activity sample but... I don't know about you but I wouldn't want to be holding these let alone putting them up to my face. That dust doesn't look well set within the sticker and it's clearly shedding some activity. One thing to note is my geiger counter cannot detect alpha particles, so this only gives an indication that the item contains some level of radioactivity but cannot give the full picture of level, nor what it is (sadly I do not own a gamma spectrometer).
